Story/History:
"W-where am I?” A tiny blue kitten asks. A large red and black Tom snarls at her and the kitten steps back. She hits a small sapling and runs forwards in fear. Another cat, a little smaller than the male, walks over to her. “Now now dear, don’t fret. You are in the Cave of Pines. I have lived here all my life so I assure you are safe.” The cat mews. “O-okay, thanks.” The kitten mews. A few years later the cat who said she’d be safe was wrong. After living there for a long while the tom and she-cat gave the kitten a name. Pine Blue, Pine because of where she lived and Blue because of her blue fur. Pine blue woke up one morning to the smell of smoke and burning pines. “Fire! Get out!” she yowled as she ran out of the cave. She hit a burning tree and her fur was singed. Pine blue started to run back towards the fire and got lost in a sea of burning flames. “Help me!” she yowled suddenly there was a great light and water was everywhere. She breathed a sigh of relief as rain flodded the tunnels. She started to purr and the cave rattled with the rumbling. Pine blue lowered her head and silently thanked the rain for saving her.
