~Goennec~ Round: Closed

[June Bug]

Oh... I made a form for Debbie, I thought I'd gotten her. I was pretty sure I was the only one who made a form for her, but no one got her this round?

It was very short (barely a paragraph in character description) and told me almost nothing about her personality.

Not everyone has a hugely complex personality. She wasn't supposed to be someone with issues or be majorly flawed or perfect. Just simple and kind. She wasn't exactly supposed to be the smartest or deepest goennec in the herd. I guess I didnt get that across in the slightest. I guess I'll try again next round...

Even so, I need more description than 'average'. It's okay to have goennecs that aren't really complex, majorly flawed/perfect, or have out-of-the-norm issues, but saying 'she's normal/typical' really isn't saying anything as there are countless ways of being unremarkable. Being normal is not at all the same as having absolutely no character traits.
You can make her normal, but at least add some description of her tendencies/characteristics.

Why do you want this goennec?: I kind of felt bad about her not being taken, because she is beautiful. Even if she's plain, she has beautiful green eyes and white accents. Her hooves and horns are shiny and luxurious, and she has a simple sweetness about her. I'm trying again for her, but I don't think I'll get her, even though I really really want to take care of her. I think she's beautiful and sweet and kind, and even if she isn't exciting or complex, I think this personality fits her...
How would you use this character?: Stories and art, as usual. I also hope to RP with her.
Define your Goennec: Liliah is a sweet and compassionate, if simple and easily pleased, goennec who enjoys flowers and rivers and sunshine. Though she doesn't like to admit to not liking anything, she doesn't particularly appreciate people who are rude to her. She hasn't the most complex personality, or any issues to work through, or issues with mates during the Siv. She's just kind and friendly and happy. Not the sharpest horn in the herd, she is hardworking and helpful, always willing to help out anyone else for a simple thank you.
Debbie can be described as one of those people who haven't a thought in their head at most moments of the day.

Why did you choose the name? I wanted something original, so I put together random sounds until I found something that I liked.

Rank: Elder

Physical Weaknesses: Chkattou is an elder, after all, so she's obviously not going to be as strong as other Goennecs. Even with the company of other stronger, younger Goennecs she's still more vulnerable if anything should happen. Kat's left hind leg is crippled due to injuries received in a bloody war she was involved in 25 years ago. Though she has come to accept the lack of functioning in this leg, it still slows her down.

Physical Strengths: Despite Kat's leg, she is actually in decent shape for an elder. Having been in good care for the past few years has definitely done her good. She can still move around freely and for the most part, take care of herself.

Why do you want this goennec?

I've seen her up for a while, and every round I was tempted to try for her. Unfortunately, my temptations were overpowered by all the other new Goeys, not to mention Drafts. I can finally try for Chkattou now that there isn't any new Goeys to taunt me. Kat is simple, a factor that would turn down a lot of people, but not me. I like that only her face has markings, though subtle. Kat is beautiful in so many ways.

How would you use this character?

Well, I can tell you that at some point I would put her in my signature. When I get the free time, I'm going to sketch her. I need practice with drawing Goeys, because as of now I'm afraid to put my attempts on my forms. I don't have a character thread yet but when I do, she'll be on it, as will the many stories I will come up with. Chkattou would be the first addition to my herd, if I happen to win her.

Define your Goennec:

History
The first few years of Chkattou's life were spent in a small herd with her parents and her headstrong brother. Her parents were both Soldiers, so Kat wasn't going to aim for anything higher than that. Her brother, on the other hand, never stopped at that. Kat had to admit, she was jealous when her brother achieved the title of Prince. This jealousy grew when her parents took a stronger liking to him, and she became an outcast. Chkattou spent more and more time alone, thinking about what could have been different if she had tried harder to impress. Eventually, she decidedly set off on her own. I mean, what was there to lose? She could build shelter with bark and mud, something she had learned from the Elders. This would be a piece of cake... right? Wrong. After traveling for days, Chkattou finally accepted the fact that she was never going to find a forest. She continued traveling though, but with something else in mind. In only a couple of days, she found what she was looking for... Another herd. She was afraid the other Goennecs would shoo her away, but instead was welcomed warmly as a new member to the herd. This one was noticeably larger than the last. Kat had finally found a place where she could be appreciated, where she could make her own decisions without anyone's opinions to interfere with them. Chkattou concluded that this was going to be her home as long as she could maintain it.

Personality
Optimistic Chkattou was constantly put down as a child, and this pained her greatly. Everything she did received negative comments and nasty looks. Kat vowed never to treat another Goennec like this. Instead of acting unimpressed, though she might feel it, she finds the good in everything. Did someone get hurt? That will heal right up. Someone doubting themselves? Doubt is an evil little thing. Push it away.
Ornery Though Kat normally goes with the flow, she can be stubborn as a mule when she needs to. Most likely you won't see this side of her.
Vegetarian Chkattou will eat meat if she has to, but she prefers vegetation to creatures. She keeps in mind that her prey, too, is a living thing and should be treated equally.

Likes
Blackberry Bushes It's a treat to her if she stumbles across one. She loves the taste of ripe blackberries, not too sour, not too sweet, and cherishes every last bit of them.
Birch Trees Another plant... Yes. Kat enjoys birch trees in a weird way. She likes to scratch at these trees, enjoying the feel of the bark as it peels off.
Siv Aside all the fighting, Chkattou likes to see all the younger Goennecs coming together in a loving way. You could say that her herd is gentler with Siv, and it is more common to find Goennecs pairing for life.

Dislikes
Pride Kat sought it out all her life, but she now sees it as nothing more than a monster. Pride can take over your decisions, your personality, if you have too much of it.
Her Parents Kat still thinks about them. Would it have been better if she stayed? No, she would still be trapped in a world of loneliness. All because of her parents.
Wet Leaves They get stuck to her fur! They cover everything and make it harder to see where you're headed. What's not to loathe?

Biggest Dream
To regain control of her leg. Even if she has accepted that this is never going to happen, Chkattou still thinks about what it was like to run and play without any trouble.

Biggest Nightmare
Drowning. Kat came into a close account with death due to drowning once before, and it has since become her biggest fear. She knows what it feels like... One second you're holding your breath, you're fine. And the next, you're gulping in mouthfuls of water, your lungs feeling like they're going to burst. Your life flashing before your eyes... And then it's over, you think.

This is why I avoid gray-ish greens, lol. They do look zombie-ish.

Tide was one of the Granites (I'm almost positive) and Sihir is a Devi-Blossom baby, who got her greenish color from her mommy~ x]

You see, you keep saying that, but then I can't help but notice that Blossom is very white while Devi is very black. Only one explanation. Zombie. 8}
I want to point out I was NOT the one who first said she looked like a zombie, my mind has been polluted ever since it was pointed out, though. 8'D
