Why you want it?:It looks so cool, the species as a whole does, but i love his colors and description

Describe their personality: Hades is a loner, not trusting anyone. The few who gain his trust though he protects feircly. He puts up a tough frount but is a softy at heart. He loves thunder storms and the moon and hate morning, like we all do. He can seem cruel at times but only kills when he needs to. (The more detail, the better)

How them and their human companion met: Yami was walking through the destroyed city for food. A sudden growl startled him, it was a weak old Vyrux that was protecting a few younger ones. Yami took pity on the he gave them his little bit of food. A few months later as Yami was walking a few Vyrux surronded him, about to attack. A dark Vyrux jumped out and protected him. yami remember it as one of the younger ones he had helped mounths ago. He thanks Hades and expected him to leave, but he didn't the rest is history.

Name: Belial (bell-i-al)
Why you want it?: Well, for starters, I LOVE the design. It matches his 'rough and tough' persona. His wild and unpredictable design is how I imagine his character. Unpredictable, wild, cunning, cocky, something unexpected and an irresistible temptation. And I also really like how, in a way, the design is simple. It has intricate and detailed markings, but they are all down played and meant for camouflage. The only thing that really sticks out is his lime green coloring. It catches your attention for just a split second, and by then its to late and he's about to deliver his killing bite.

Will you use them in a story?: Um, that's a no brainier. As in, “Heck yes!”
Will put them in your character thread?: I, um don't have one. But if I did, I would. DX

Describe their personality:

Unpredictable
Belial is unpredictable to the extreme. You think he's doing one thing, but he up and surprises you by doing something completely unexpected. He has a rather erratic fighting style and you can never guess where he'll strike from, its like he takes into account everything around him and uses it in ways that you could never even think of. No one can catch him in close quarter combat.

Wild
Belial is as wild as they come. With slightly 'evil' tendency's, Belial is an un-trusting, “lone ranger” type. He has a deceptive, cunning mind, with an erratic and all over the place thinking that makes him deadly and wild. Imagine someone, or something, that has nothing to live for but to make life miserable for everyone else, because his life is already hell.

Cunning
Belial is as wily as a fox, cunning like a cat, and smarter than most of the scientist that created him. Belial is extremely smart, a bit full of himself because of it if I do say so, but he waists all of his smarts on pointless killing. He likes to make people suffer, because he suffers, and because he has suffered. He takes no joy in life, and even though he has an amazing mind, he shuns it, for the pain it has caused him to endure.

Cocky
Belial, despite his drawn back and detached personality, can't help being a cocky Vyrux. Probably one of the worst. When someone is around and he has something to brag about, don't think he won't. And he get rather upset when you crush his accomplishments. Then he just gets annoyed and hurts you til you agree. He has a short temper if you hadn't noticed.

Short tempered
Belial has a short fuse. He keeps it under control for the most part, but when he really just doesn't care, he'll be at your throat in a second. And he doesn't like other cocky Vyruxes or people, they tick him off, even if its ironic. And he hates irony.

Blood thirsty
He isn't out rightly a monster, but when you make him mad, or if you've made an enemy out of him, you can expect trouble. And when Belial has a grudge against someone, he will do what ever is in his power to make them suffer, make them look over there shoulder and wake up screaming in the middle of the night, make them wish for death. And the he will come, like the grim reaper, and take there life from them, and relish in the blood as it spills from there body.

Unforgiving, and never forgetful
Belial doesn't forget, and he never forgives. If someone does a wrong by him, it is ingrained into his memory, stitched into his very being. And he won't forgive you, even if it is something little, he doesn't forgive, he holds a grudge and makes good on his promises of taking them to hell and back.

Soft
Despite everything, Belial does have a soft spot. He has a soft spot for the young, young Vyruxes that is, and for the week and old. He doesn't like to see others of his species suffer, especially young Vyruxes, they are too young to know sadness and hardship in his opinion.

Determined, stead fast and loyal
Belial doesn't make many friends, but when he does, there is no stopping him when he is protecting a good friend. He is loyal to the end and determined that they should not know hardship. Once you have made a friend of Belial, it's for life, he will never leave you when you need him, and he won't let you suffer. If putting you out of your misery is what you need he'll do that, or if you just need someone to talk to or someone who will stay by your side, Belial will always be there. Even if your too stubborn to know know whats good for you.

Why you want it?
Well first let's take a look at the species shall we?
The sharp pointed appearance makes for an interesting combat situation to say the least, the spikes would make a good tactical weapon or defence system.
The tail barbs are stunning and would be useful for many purposes; the long tongue is appealing and adds to the value of the Vyrux in all.
And who could miss those gorgeous sharp teeth? A deadly weapon and hunting tool, judging by the physical characteristics one can assume it is their main weapon and the last thing their enemy sees...

Next to this boys appearance, his dark design is always appealing, and the toxic tongue openes up plenty of possibilities, the grey markings remind me of barbed wire, and the green echoes the swamp around him! The yellow adds a beautiful contrast while still keeping to the little intro you made for him!

Then to his personality, he has a dark, sneaky side to him that many don't interpret at first, of course he is rarely seen however this only makes him mysterious, earning him his name, the rest of his personality has yet to be discovered, this traps can be seen as defensive but that leaves many questions to answer and I intend to answer them!

Because I have another FanFic going at the moment (that I have been horribly lazy about) please don't expect to much, my SAI program isn't working right now but I can guarantee a traditional drawing of him plus maybe a little story or two if I have time, please be aware that I do have to dictate how much time I am able to spend on each but I can promise you I will love him!

The net trap is a classic trap hidden under water, when someone large enough steps on it, it keeps them suspended in the air until Spiritus can get there.
Loop

The loop is designed to keep the prey suspended in the air by a limb, the blood rushing to the face if left long enough will cause weakness in back of the body and inability to use the back legs for a period of time

Self invented[i]
Pen

The pen is long wooden panels binded by strong vines that when a ground trap is triggered, releases the panels to fall around prey and create a fence like structure.
(Still to be perfected)
Poison

Spiritus is able to use the classic loop and poison the loop so if left there long enough will weaken and kill the prey.
Slam

Able to bend a branch and tie it to the tree when triggered it releases, snapping back it hits the prey, wounding them and sending them into a loop trap where they then hang suspended.

Spiritu’s main priority is to keep himself alive and safe, this priority however has the potential to make way for a desire to keep his friends safe if he had any.

What are his four most positive traits?[i]
The first one would probably be his intelligence, his ability to invent and come up with new ideas when the old aren’t to his satisfaction.
The second would probably be his loyalty and what can only be described as knightly attitude if befriended.
The third is his cunning traits it gives him the ability to remain un outsmarted by any of his opponents.
The fourth would have to be his experience, because of what he went though it has made him a bit wiser to his surroundings.

[i]What are his four most negative traits?
He can be back stabbing and only reserves a sense of honour for the people that befriend him, he doesn’t have many social skills and what little he does have has been corrupted by his time in the lab.
He is untrustworthy unless you have earned his trust which has made it hard for people to get close to him.

INTERPERSONAL

What's the greatest number of people he can stand to be actively interacting with at once in person?
Unless those people have earned his trust, zero. It doesn’t matter if they are one of his own species or otherwise, if he doesn’t trust them. Forget it.

If you had to choose to spend a weekend only between the following three options, would you spend it completely alone, or never leaving the side of your closest friend(s), or partying with a large crowd of people?
Until people earn his trust he would spend every day completely alone however if someone does manage to earn his trust he would never leave their side.

Does he mind being in a crowd of strangers?
Yes, he hates it and does his best to avoid it at all costs.

Does being around other people tend to tire you out?
Being with people that he doesn’t know is an instant energy drain, he will become aggressive and snappy, often snarling at shadows as a result.

What things, in detail, make him respect someone?
Not being stupid, if they turn their back they are stupid and need to be eliminated, risking their life would be a big one but you don’t see that every day, he has a tight criteria for allowing someone to trust him and it really all depends on the personal trust.

Does he mind making new friends, or does he prefer to stick with the people he already knows?
Spiritus would not be seen around anyone he doesn’t know unless forced to or if he traps them so I think it is a no brainer.

Are his friends a group, where every member knows the other, or are they all independent relationships?
Well considering he only trusts one human and one other animal species it would have to be every member knows each other.

Does he mind sharing his living space with others, and under what circumstances?
If he trusts them he is perfectly happy to give everything to them however under no other circumstances will he share his living space with anyone else.

if he was working on something important, would he rather do it by himself or in a team?
He is perfectly happy to take orders if he knows and trusts the person however if not he’d rather work alone, even though he trusts the person the exception is his traps which he does alone.

If he is working in a team, would he rather call the shots, have a democratic process, follow what a leader says, or let everyone do their own thing?[i]
He’d much rather a Leader says type situations and he is happy to take orders, he can be very disciplined given the chance.

[i]If he is assigned a group project, would he rather split the workload between the people, or try to have everyone working in tandem?
That he leaves up to the leader to assign everyone a job.

Does he find it easy to accept help from others, and under what circumstances? Will he actively seek out help or advice, and will he follow it?
He will rarely be see seeking help from others, he will accept help if it is offered by his friends however he won’t accept help from anyone else.

Does he want to be more important to others than they are to him? Would he express this in any way?
With his friends he likes to think he is important to them, he will take orders and follow through and this is how he expresses his want to be needed.

Does he find it easy to read people and understand the hidden meaning behind what they're saying?
Spiritus can usually detect the hidden meaning easily however it is usually uncertain on how he will react to this if at all.

Does he care deeply about others' feelings? Does he find it easy to comfort people?
He hates it when his friends are feeling bad however he doesn’t really know how to react to this very well which can lead people to believe he doesn’t care however he does.

How awkward does he find it to talk about feelings?
Spiritus doesn’t express his feelings at all, for him they are a waste of time and energy.

If someone came to him with a problem, would he rather make them feel better about it by giving them affection, making them laugh or help them find a way to directly fix the problem? Or would he not want to get involved at all?
Usually he wouldn’t know what to do, if he didn’t know them he would ignore it completely however one of his friends would be a different story, he would eventually give them an awkward nudge however he doesn’t quite know what to do.

Does he mind when people keep secrets from him? Does he respect others' privacy?
Honestly he couldn’t care less, he keeps his secrets they can keep theirs, unless of course they could harm him he doesn’t mind if people keep secrets.

If he wanted to find out a secret, would he go about it directly or sneakily?
He would go directly and never give it up until he found out.

How talkative are you, and under what circumstances?
He’s only vocal when threatened, he makes a lot of noise to scare off his opponents but usually he’s rather quiet, speak only when spoken to.

Does he tend to think he’s probably bothering people?
He knows he bothers people, tough for them.

Does he prefer not to argue with others or start conflict, or is he likely to speak your mind?
He is quite happy to go with whatever his leader thinks, if he trusts them than he is happy to do whatever it expected of him.

He says it bluntly, no need for flowery words or something of the sort.

With people he trusts he will back down instantly however if he doesn’t trust them he usually starts first with cunning and manipulation, then with intimidation then aggression.

Yes he can be two faces, loyal and disciplined to his friends and unpredictable and backstabbing for the people he doesn’t know.

Does he lie easily? Under what circumstances does he lie?[i/]
He would never lie to his friends however it doesn’t really matter to him with anyone else.

Spiritus does have a strong sense of Hierarchy, he knows he is the bottom of the group but he also knows he is very powerful and because his little group consists of two others he doesn’t see himself as low down. Everyone but is little group is completely below him.

Is he loyal to others? How much does it take to inspire his loyalty or commitment?
It takes very special circumstances to get him to trust you and because of this it is rare to get close to him.

Is he protective of his friends?
Yes, he would absolutely lay down his life for his friends, anyone else though… not so much…

Does he tend to do whatever his friends are doing, or decide whatever his friends are doing, or just do what he wants?
As said previously, if he respects the person, he is perfectly happy to do whatever they want.

If him and his friends were going out, and they all wanted to do one thing and he wanted to do another, would he push for his activity, go along with theirs or leave? Would he be angry? If he went along with it, would this be okay with him? If not, would he suppress it or would he act sullen?
He would definitely go along with it, he respects them so naturally he is inclined to agree with whatever they want.

Does he have a reputation that precedes him? What kind?/i]
Spiritus means spirit in Latin, this was what everyone called him, only people who entered the marsh caught a glimpse of him and not many of those lived to tell the tale.

Not really, he doesn’t care what people think of him so long as his friends think well of him.

Does he need validation from others, including your friends or family, or does he act independently?
He does need validation from his friends however while he lived alone he was totally independent.

Yes he would, he lives to make his friends happy.

How do others tend to react to him? Do they seem intimidated or set at ease, or do they tend to push him around or take advantage of him? Or do they just ignore him altogether?
People are generally intimidated by Spiritus, with those teeth and tongue and no eyes, it’s kind of easy to see why.

Does he get jealous or possessive of others easily? If so, would he ever express this openly?
He does get possessive easily, he will usually show this though hostility.

Is it in his nature to automatically declare as his enemy anyone who slights one of his friends?
Oh yes, Spiritus is quite apt at holding a grudge and will do so infinitely.

Does it bother him to be touched by a stranger? Someone he’s acquainted with? How much does he touch his close friends?
He can’t stand being touched by a stranger unless they are fighting, he will often walk with his side brushing up against his friends to assure himself they are still there.

Does he fear letting others down?
He does fear letting his friends down, their disappointment would be one of his greatest fears.

Does he have a tendency to unexplained aggression?
Asking that would be like asking does he have a tendency to breathe, it is automatic for him, born from his past.

Is he merciful, or does he prefer that everyone gets what they deserve?
He thinks everyone should get what they deserve, why let someone do horrible things and let them get away with it?

Is he ruthless if he wants something, or does he give others a chance too?
He is absolutely ruthless when he is on a mission, little can stand in his way.

Are you self-sacrificial if you want to help someone?
Yes, he will give his life in an instant if it is required of him.

He can work with what’s required of him however he would prefer all the deitails.

His thought process is structured and usually black and white, he isn’t one for random acts.

He wants to know only the things that will benefit him, anything that doesn’t allow him to gain anything isn’t needed.

He will analyse the problem until he has an answer to his liking, most things come to him however not everything is that easy.

He prefers structure, this he learned from creating traps and whatnot.

This is one of his favourite things to do, come up with new ways to do things that are better than the old.

Does he have very much discipline, or is he more slack?
He has quite a bit of discipline that he exercises regularly, if there is no discipline, there is no order.

How strong is his need to know things? If he finds the answer to a question, will he be satisfied or will that prompt even more questions?
If given the choice he would usually explore further however if told that is enough, he respects that.

Is he perfectionistic? If so, describe the way this manifests itself. Does he obsess over things until they can be perfect, or give up because he thinks they can't be?
If he has the opportunity to he will do the best job he can but if his friends advised him to back down he would know that is enough for them which is why he can be a little perfectionistic in the first place.

How's his memory? What things does he remember, and why? What are his remembering strategies?
He will try new things and if he likes them he is likely to remember them, if not then he will not bother with it anymore unless of course there is an opportunity for improvement.

Does he fear failure?
Spiritus does very much fear failure, he is afraid of letting his friends down.

Does he need lots of activity and stimulation, or does he get overwhelmed too easily?
He would prefer a medium; anything too much could be overwhelming which is why he protects himself with his traps.

Is he calm in times of crisis, or does he tend to get himself in a flap?
He tends to remain calm although if too much is happening he may become overwhelmed and prone to snapping.

Is he stubborn? Does he admit when he’s wrong? If he doesn’t admit it, is it because he knows but doesn’t want to say, or because he can genuinely never see his own flaws?
He never believes he is wrong until it is proven and if it is he tends to sulk for a bit but not admit it.

Does he tend to worry a lot? About what sort of thing? Under what circumstances?
He worries for the safety of his friends and letting them down but generally nothing else phases him.

How precise is he, and under what circumstances? Does he need precision from others to understand them?
He is quite precise, half right won’t do when you’re trying to trap something and he believes this for everything else to.

How quickly can he pick up a new concept or skill? How does he learn things -- visually, auditorily, by doing, or otherwise? Is he self-taught or does he need guidance from others?
He is quick to pick up new skills and learns best by watching then imitating, he doesn’t learn as well asuditorily.

Yes, he can move on after just about anything as seen after he escaped from the lab in which he was created.

Does he keep things to himself? Is he secretive?
If one of his friends needs to know something he’ll tell them however everyone else can get over it.

How persistent is he when he wants something, and how would he go about getting it?
He can be very persistent when he wants something and will usually manipulate people to get it and if that doesn’t work, well… let’s not think about that…

How them and their human companion met
The swamp was dark and hazy a thick cloud of mist penetrated all places without mercy, the vines twisted and tangled themselves around the ghostly white skeleton of the trees that reached up to the sky despite the fact they drowned years ago.
The branches still reached upwards but with no leaves to shelter them they quickly froze in their assent.
The water lay eerily still as the rest of the land of which it covered, slimy unknown things slithered beneath their depths, it was unnaturally quiet.

A splash and a loud cursing split the air as a large green and brown shape struggled out of the water, onto a spongy patch of land that supported his weight,
“Ugh! This is not the right place for a king,” He growled, flicking his tail and snorting with irritation,
“It is the quickest way to out next destination” A girl spoke up from behind the great Tali, placing a hand on the great animal’s shoulder to support her as she freed her feed from the mud.
“Yes let’s all go into the lair of the Spiritus, the great best who kills whatever comes near!” He crowed mockingly,
"A good kind does not underestimate, Paerian" the girl warned, she was something of an adviser to the one who called himself king, of course king was a self-proclaimed title and most didn't see eye to eye with what Paerian believed himself to be however his 'adviser' was one who he relied upon heavily although nothing could make him admit that,
"Fine, Nix" He replied with a self-important sigh and with that he marched or more struggled through the marsh until sud

Vivacious
Viskani is a happy-go-lucky Vyrux and very fun, he loves to play and be fussed over, his playfulness rarely gets him in trouble. He is often vivacious when meeting new people. I almost always have to intervene.
Example: I was smiling, “Calm down Vis” I exclaimed exhaustedly. The playful Vyrux was bounding around my feet on his paws barking excitedly, I laughed and he flicked him long tongue at me. I rubbed his dark moss green markings on his body and he sat down, I smiled, yes I already know how to calm this boy down.

Placid
Viskani is calm and gentle; he is very rarely riled up and generally wants to please. I have not met another creature as pleasant in my life time. I know I can always rely on him when I am upset to help me calm down.
Example: I woke up and smiled to myself, it was Saturday and I was going skating, I got up and ready, but I couldn’t find my other sock, I started to rant and rave getting more and more edgy, Viskani took one ‘look’ at me and was out to find the missing sock, he came back with it dangling from one of his long green and black ears. I smiled finally and took it, “Thanks Vis” I praised him.

Gentle
Vis is gentle as he never tries to hurt anyone, he even cares for animals. This is one of the reasons I have taken to him.
Example: A small grey kitten was wandering around, Viskani listened and tasted the air around it as it wandered along the edge of the foot path, a large hawk screeched and flew at it from no-where, Viskani barked and leaped toward where the scent was and grabbed the kitten in his jaws, he ran and placed it under a bush to protect it from the hawk.

Curious
‘Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back’ Well he is no cat but he is very curious for sure. This little boy loves to stick his nose in things just to ‘see’ what they are; luckily he is also cautious which keeps him from getting into too much trouble.
Example: I had just brought a fresh meat derby skate pack home from Skate Salvage, Viskani as usual was curious, he sat down and thought about the consequences of having a ‘look’ at what was in there. He then smiled and nosed it open to check it out. I walked in and saw him, “Vis you nosy boy” I growled fondly


Intelligent
Vis is extremely intelligent, he learns things almost the first time he tries them. His intelligence is beyond the average mega genius. He always knows when to stop and where his limit is, unless he is in a daring mood.
Example: I looked at the coded lock and was puzzled, I tried to figure it out but I was unable, turning to him I asked him to help me. The yellow tongued, Green and Black Vryux turned his head to me, he ran his tongue on the lock and scratched the numbers around, and perfectly the lock opened and revealed its secrets, “Thanks Vis” I smiled at him.

Calm
Vis is very calm and submissive, he never gets worked up unless in play. He can easily calm others down and tends to like it like that. Usually it is an excitable child, he just stares at it with his eyeless face and they calm down without protesting.
Example: My little sister was getting in my way, I wanted my space in my caravan and she would not leave. “Viskani…” I murmured exasperated. The bright Yellow tongue flicked through the air, I smiled as he stared at my sister and she calmed down quickly, I asked her to leave and willingly she left my caravan with me and Vis alone.

Protective
Vis is also extremely protective of what he believes as his property or his ‘friends’. He will fight if it comes to it but he prefers not to. He never bites though and this is good.
Example: I was walking along the street with my dark Vyrux at my side. I was going to the skate shop when a group or guys and a few girls walked over to me, ‘tough’ looking people and the demanded I gave them a few dollars for a drink, Viskahni growled turning his head to the people, “Ugly mutt” one of the girls taunted, I glared at her “No he is a purebred Vyrux and he is mine. Vis growled and they backed away, she took a step forward and they turned and ran.

Cautious
Viskahni is ever so cautious around people he does not know, he will sometimes stick his head in but always thinks logically first. This has also helped him to avoid trouble plenty of times.
Example: I looked at Vis. He turned her sightless head to me and grinned at me, a Vyrux grin. I opened the door and a few of my friends came in, “Vis these are Aiki and Ratchet.” Viskahni ‘looked’ at them and tasted the air around him, he padded around them cautiously and nodded to herself, he let out a low gentle accepting growl and butted both with his head.

Daring
Daring is one of the slightest traits this Vyrux has, he is rarely getting into things but because of his high intelligence he will sometimes get bored may resort to doing something reckless.
Example: A bark echoed in my head and I turned opening my eyes, beside my bed I saw with a pot on his head and grinning. I sighed, “ you didn’t eat all the macaroni did you?” Another bark answered my question, an obvious yes. I shook my head, “Silly boy” I said taking the pot of his head.

How them and their human companion met:

I looked around the landscape, wondering why I was still able to appreciate the beauty when the threat of a Decepticon attack was rising so rapidly. I watched a large white facility come into view and remembered why I was here. My guardian Ladybird (The white VW beetle I was now riding in) wanted someone else to help protect me, a Vyrux was finally decided on and I couldn’t help excitement rising when I heard the strange barks from the facility. I slipped out of her and walked in, I had my black GPS who was also a transformer on me. Liz, she was a black and silver GPS Navigator I was unsure what her ability was and she never used it either.... The lady at the counter smiled and opened a door to me, “This way please” she said interrupting my thoughts. I followed her through holding Liz tight.

Moving through the corridors I muttered unsure. The first Vyrux I met was a large black male. But the way he looked at me frightened me deeply. "This is the first one to show you. He is a hard case. This Vyrux is very wild and dangerous, very few would dare come near this beast. His dark colors help him blend into the night, where he hunts any prey. The nature of this Vyrux makes it very hard to come even near, and much more difficult to befriend. Once befriended thou, you have a guardian for life." I shuddered as he lunged aggressively at the cage snapping and snarling. A door was shut quickly before the words came from his mouth obviously cussing at us. I shook my head, "No, that is not the one that will suit me" I said quickly as we moved off.

Not long later we came to another cage, a stunning and breathtaking female Vyrux. "She is beautiful" I murmured as she moved over to the bars. I slipped my hand in and started to stroke her gently. The gentleness of this girl was amazing compared to the first one.

Viskahni padded by my side and when we were outside I walked over to Ladybird, “This is Ladybird, Ladybird this is Viskahni” I introduced them. Shifting occurred in my hand and I gasped almost dropping the phone, Liz was shifting around to see Viskahni. “Oh Viskahni this is Liz”, Vis lifted his head to Liz and nodded. “Nice to meet you Viskahni” Liz greeted in a jittery electronic sound. Vis turned to me and nudged me gently and sat at my feet, I rubbed his sightless head, “Oh” I said with surprise, I had not known he had no eyes, he moved so well that it was as if he did… I smiled and hugged him and then touched Liz and Lady.

Kylie's eyes glittered as her eyes scanned the Vyruxes in the landscape. She spotted an extremely vividly-coloured one and she approached it. All the other Vyruxes twisted their heads at Kylie, cautiously and slowly standing up. Their lips curled into a wicked snarl. The Vyrux she was watching raised her head, and estimated where Kylie was, for she was unable to see.

Kylie put her hand on the Vyrux's smooth, metallic back, and stroked her gently. The Vyrux stiffened in caution, then relaxed as Kylie was so gentle. The Vyrux stood up and dipped her head to Kylie, then stood loyally, prepared - and acknowledgingly - to help Kylie, as she was her human bond, and she must stand by her side.
