Vyruxes are a odd species that were originally made in a sinister lab. They were originally going to be hordes of creatures that could be controlled easily, no free will or social ability. They were made to be like robots. The scientists wanted to use them for easily taking control of cities, even states. The creatures were very powerful and a effective weapon.
Their plans for the Vyruxes did not work. The scientist were very frustrated, they couldn‘t find a way to easily control the Vyruxes for their own bidding, the creatures were unruly and had minds of there own. They had a incredible intelligence that could not be controlled, and even started to learn how to speak.
This fascinated and scared the scientists at the same time, but they still couldn‘t find a way to control the monsters. Then there was an accident in the lab, and explosion. Hundreds of thousands of the creatures escaped, and into the outside world.
Chaos would rule.
They quickly ravaged cites, fuelled by rage. The creatures were incredibly strong and could endure the most desolate wastelands that humans could not. They could go without food and water for extremely long periods of time, they were build for survival.
Looks like we‘re not the dominate species anymore.
Some humans have begun to try and befriend the Vyruxes, instead of destroying them. Perhaps if humans started to gain their trust, could war and destruction with them be stopped? The creatures were too smart to be fooled by anything else, maybe this was the only way to find peace once more. Its up to you to decide.
