Yarps closed his eyes and took a deep breath, tasting the different scents filtered through his delicate nose. Grey eyes blinked opened as he stepped forward, the blood red curtains parting immediately before him and unveiled the crowds before him.
Yarps grinned, the excitement permeating the air quickly affecting him as well. Stepping into center stage, he placed himself in full view of the audience, dipping his head once out of respect to the Queen sitting in the front row. The blueish Faerre took another deep breath, savoring the different emotions saturated in the atmosphere before a splitting grin appeared on his face.
"Hello all, I'm
Yarps. I'm a Faerre born with a very delicate nose and because of that I can scent emotions from the atmosphere quicker and better than others." The courier twitched as he shifted his backpack. "It's an unusual ability... most creatures could scent strong emotions, but my ability to do so is enhanced and I can scent a wider range of emotions as well. Some call this a curse, but to me it's a gift. However, some might find this nose of mine a bit... weird." the Faerre chuckled lightly. "It's a bit like mind reading really." he laughed.
Yarps will be judged in 7 days, February 13th, 2013, HK time
Yarps Has Chosen

Yarps shifted his weight trying to ease the growing ache on his paws as he smiled at the last wooer. It was quite an interesting experience. Never before had he been forced to take on so many 'emotions' at one time, the overwhelming scents were overpowering and threatened to drive him insane at times. How could creatures harbor so much of these… feelings? Yarps chuckled inwardly. He can't blame them though, emotions were necessary for one to be alive. His gift -or curse, depending on the situation and mood was something he was used to by now, how can one feel weird about something they're born with and had been living with ever since he's born?
The strongest scent these few days would be the emotion of pity. It was not unusual to scent this, in fact it would be weird for this scent not to permeate the whole area. There were other strong scents as well, but then there was this one. This one scent that captured his attention. Pride.
It wasn't arrogance. But the smell of one being proud of who they were. A brilliant mane of red that flamed under the afternoon sun… Rocket was his name and Yarps scented pride.
The courier smiled, leaping off the altar and approached the dragon who towered over him. "Kindred spirit."
A connection was made.Yarps has chosen you, Crimsoned
