Sunkiss Made His Choice

As expected, none of the suitors really guessed his name correctly. But the riddle had so many different variations to it... The bright Faerre shrugged. It's really none of his business, it's all about having fun and making others smile. Slipping off the Altar gracefully like a feline, the happy-go-lucky Faerre bounced through the crowd towards a dark dusty corner of the Altar. Standing in front of the huddled figure the Faerre paused for a while as his orange eyes follows the slow sway of that mysterious circular object. Then unable to hold in his curiousity, Sunkiss snatched the pocketwatch away by it's chains, the metallic object flinging around his neck like a snake wrapping around it's prey. Surprised, the Faerre fell into the huddled figure into a tangled heap of fur and chains before looking at the curious child with big wide eyes.

"You're wrong. It's Sunkiss." The Faerre stuck out it's tongue cheekily. "“What does man love more than life,
Fear more than death or mortal strife?
What the poor have, the rich require,
And what contented men desire,
What the miser spends and the spendthrift saves
And all men carry to their graves?” Sunkiss sang softly, remembering the riddle Mystery provided him with just a few moments ago as he recited it clearly.
"Man loves nothing more than life~
Fears nothing more than death or mortal strife~
Poor owns nothing and the rich requires nothing,
Contented men desires nothing,
A miser spends nothing and the spendthrift saves nothing,
and all carries nothing to their endless sleep underground~"
The faerre grinned slyly.
"Easy peasy."

xDD ahaha, it seems like, not only am I horrible at poems, I'm horrible at riddles too!
But there were close guesses! Like Sunlove, heart... etc.
But I'll explain my reasoning C: hopefully it'll help!
I'm sure everyone got the first part right :'3
Sun that provides warmth, that flora requires to grow, that stereotypically speaking roosters waits for it's arrival to crow.
Kiss might not be as .. well.. obvious. ^^;
it can be given and received
it bears different meanings when given to different people (kiss for family vs. kiss for lover / kiss for friends vs. relatives / kiss on cheeks vs lips )
the proof of bonding of two, as in marriage C: <3 smooch~
and definitely something you can give unless you've lost your mouth xD

oh well! C: congratulations soul! and great forms everyone! Look forward to the next encounter! C: it'll be a pleasant surprise! as usual~

"Pssh, I knew that," he laughed, waving his hand in dismissal. He straightened himself up and lightly touched the watch. He stood up and patted Sunkiss.
"And nothing shall be better than an adventure with you," he whispered.
