CANT BELIEVE I AM LATE

Resu~

I shivered as the wind blew my hair into my face, I climbed up the mountain my paws sore from the rocks, the wind kept on blowing my hair into my face every now and then. When I finally reached I saw the most handsome faerre on the rock, he had handsome blue markings and some white there and there. It was simply too magnificent to me, I shook my head not believing that I wa sterribly late, I only have 1 hour for my very important speech! I heard from the others that his name was Resu a smiply divine name, I also heard that he, Resu wanted to explore the world and I love to explore things I never knew. I rushed up towards him panting and spoke,

" Sorry Resu, for being late. I am here for another companion. I have heard from others about your announcement or should I say speech instead, I would be more then happy to a company you on your explore journey or quest if you want me too. I am sorry for making my speech short unlike the others, but I have very little time and I wanted to speak to you. I will hear your results in a while's time. Thank you for listening me and being patient with me. "

I knew that my lousy speech had ended and he would never accept me, I went towards the others and place a fake and a very worried plus sad smile on my face.

Character in woo:
Rune ~ A rather strange girl who seems to appear and disappear as she pleases with a bag of letters that is with her at all times.She hates to be called a mailman even when she is,at least she thinks she's not.She has the power to go into the past,future, and present , but she does have her limits and she calls these trips jumps.

Letters.That is all she could see on her desk,from gods to the lower human beings letters cluttered her desk as a large clocked ticked softly echoing in the empty room."Oh how I hate my job" she mumbled as she grabbed a bundle of letters and put them into her worn out messager bag.The clock hit six and from the clock a voice boomed "Iris is getting annoyed you better hurry up.That message is due in one hour" it spoke in a slight mocking tone."I'm going!" Rune snarled glaring at the clock and with a snap of her fingers she disappeared leaving behind a fog of black smoke.Rune tumbled to the ground with a fog of black mist above her head,she hated hard landings.She scanned her new surroundings with her shocking dark purple eyes,her head hurt from traveling making it difficult for her to see clearly.From what she could make out that she was in America in the south,she guessed she is in 1900's by the look of the houses and the fact people were driving horse drawn carts.Rune lugged her bag over her back and made her way towards a large white house where she had to deliver seven bills to the man who owned the house.Normal mail man were often chased off by his group of partners hoping to avoid paying taxes, but that's when they send her.Giving letters sounds like a lame job, but when you have to travel back and froth into past,present, and future it becomes a bit of a adventure."I think your going the wrong way little miss" a voice said in a mocking tone which came from a man in his early 20's appears from behind a patch of forest riding a large horse followed by three more men on horses."I am just delivering letters sir, i'm not here to cause any trouble" Rune replied eyeing the gun that hung from the mans belt."Dr.Oz is not home dear so you should be on your way" the man said grabbing his gun,it felt like a lifetime before Rune was the first to move.She made a mad dash for a near by tree when the man shot,the bullet flew past her missing her arm by inches."What is with you people!" she said in a rage as she climbed the tree which luckily she spotted who she thinks is Dr.Oz who had left his window open for some fresh air."Coward!" she yelled at the man who jumped clearly startled by her yell,she grabbed the letters from her bag and flung them at him."Next time pay your bills please sir" she told the man in a lighter and friendlier tone,her temper was always so strange being friendly one minute then the next she's gone mad.Rune started to climb down when a single shot is heard and a sudden pain shoots up from her leg,she holds back a yelp looking at her leg.Great,she was shot again,biting the inside of her mouth she looked around hoping to find a way to escape these crazed men like ways.Luckily someone had left a horse and forgot to tie it,with a deep breath she paused then launched herself out of the tree onto the horse who gave a startled whinny before it galloped towards town in a panic carrying Rune on its back."Come on faster!" she said to the horse as she spotted the men chasing after her.Come on portal where are you? she thought nervously as she scanned her surroundings.Out of the corner of her eye she spotted the portal which was literary in the ground,"Thank the heavens.Well see you later horsey" she patted the horses thick neck before she rolled off its back into the portal.

Rune landed on her head on something cold and hard,she bit back a curse and rubbed her head as she looked to see what she had landed on.Apparently she had landed on a carpet in a line which was in a cave that was decorated quiet nicely."Oh gosh where am I now?" she mumbled and her question was quickly answered by a man."Well your in the land of faeeres miss,this is the line to woo Resu" he replied to her question before turning his back to her."Resu?" she mumbled testing the name on her tongue,she was unsure who or what this Resu was ,but by his name he sounded like someone noble.She wobbled to stand up looking down at the wound on her leg,of all places to be there was no doctor here for sure.Ripping off some of her jacket she tied the cloth around her leg to stop the bleeding,she couldn't go back to where she was because she was already too weak from her last jump so she might as well try to woo this noble sounded Resu.The hours passed as the line got shorter and shorter till she was up.Rune dusted off her clothes and fixed herself the best she could before stepping or rather limping up to Resu,"Greetings Noble Resu,I would like to introduce myself.My name is Rune,I am what humans may call me a jumper.I have the ability to go to the past and future even the present.From your speech you seek information that would benefit the Queen and her kingdom,the past holds many things untold in books and stories.Some are mistakes that should never be repeated or many great things untold by a man never to be written down.I should know myself that loyalty for your queen comes first before anything else for I am loyal to my own king.As a jumper I travel to many worlds and kingdoms finding many cultures,battle tactics and such.I shall understand if you betray me for I may betray you all the same if my kingdom is in danger.Along with being a jumper I could easily bring you can to your homeland whenever you may please for it is my duty to assist people." she stopped feeling a stab of pain from her leg."I am truly sorry to end this short Resu, but my leg needs tending to.I wish you luck" she explained a bit embarrassed before limping away.

Resu Has Chosen

At the beginning, the young warrior might have been too tensed to take any wooers to heart, but as time passed, hours turns into days, finally the gongs ends the interviewing period. Throughout the meetings, Resu met many, many different wooers from different worlds, lands and hierarchies outside the borders of Vinara. He saw determination, pain, courage and most of all nobility etched in every face of his interviewees. He felt their loyalties to their duties, their kingdom, their world and felt somewhat pitiful. Here they are, standing on the same stage as he, serving their own roles in life proudly without a sniff of complaint. And he? Feeling somewhat ashamed of his inner turmoil, he should learn from all of them, their will and the way they hold their beliefs. His paw knocked against cold glass snapping him out of his absent minded daydreams as he glanced down at the peculiar snow globe. The light from the stage illuminating the beautiful carved miniature structures within, the fake snow gliding gracefully down the sides, the peaceful harmony of the city he sees... This is not a punishment, so why am I berating myself?

Everything cleared, the conflicts within banished as the warrior finally understood his duty. His eyes met The Queen's briefly, saw her pride and understanding, I will never stop loving Vinara.. He picked up the glowing white scabbard, the small snow globe stuffed into it's empty chamber as the warrior leaped off the Altar, chasing hastily after the tall one.

Nor will I ever stop serving The Queen..

His paws skidded to a stop just centimeters from colliding into the blond elf, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he tried to catch his breath..

Though I leave them behind today...

The gifts dropped from his mouth, as he swept himself into a graceful, knightly bow. His blue eyes clear and determined as he looked up into Phoebe's face. "My lady, I've learnt a lot today, I'll falter no longer.."

Vinara, The Queen, my duties... will never leave my heart and pride.

"Resu at your service, ma'am."
