Mearc Has Chosen

Mearc nodded and listened to each speech politely, his crimson eyes sparkling with interests as he listened to different stories and myths. There were many that he've heard of but there were also others that piqued his interest. It was a hard choice, so many opportunities thrown out at him, and he needs to choose one. How disappointed the others would be. Mearc shook his head slowly, then lifted it as the gongs rang, signaling the end of the interviews.

"I've enjoyed meeting everyone here, it was very unique and enlightening." Mearch started, smiling and tilting his head slightly in a thoughtful manner. He thought about the different creatures, the humans... and the Aiones. His ears perked up as he scanned the area for the one known as Nature, he turned to her, paused for a moment, before sweeping himself onto his knees, in a formal bow.

"I'd love to visit this strange land you talk of." He murmured, then looked up with a smile. "That is, if you'll have me."

The sky was still dark, the sun was still sleeping deep within the wedges of the high mountains, lazy to crawl up the dark morning sky. Yet the curtains parted, the tired notes of the horns spluttered and died out with a wimpish cry. A slim figure walked out with a skip in her step, bringing the fragrance of fruit trees with her as she glanced down at the groggy audience. "My, my, early bird gets the worms y'know?" The Faerre giggled.
"Hello all~ I'm known as Retho, a farmer of different fruits. I'm passionate about my occupation even if I don't get a high pay, I've learned to create many different things with fruits~ like perfumes, food... and clothing too!" Retho grinned. "I've been breeding and growing fruits for many years now, and would show my creations to the outside world too!" The Faerre tilted her head slightly to one side in a thoughtful expression. "But I can't travel a lot, I get tired easily and I do need somewhere to grow my fruits... Hmmmnn..."

The eagle creature waited amount the shadows. His violet eyes glowed softly, when the sun ha set he padded to her. He kept up the one step for him and looked down at the faerre. He didn't want her o be afraid, he ent up laying down so he could see the fair almost eye to eye. "Hello Retho, I do not wish to say my name I am sorry if I disappoint you. I hear you wish to grow all sorts if things but not wish to travel too much. " he spread his wings "I can travel for you And spread all the wonderful things you create. I also understand you wish to perhaps stay here, or go somewhere for a while to grow new kinds of plants. If you wish for extra paws to help you then these two may be of service...but I give a fiat warning one of them can be annoying." he let a frown appear on his face before it went back to stone. Even retsmah hasn't been able to make him smile yet. As his words were spoken the two rabbit like creatures hopped onto the altar. She little yellow one twirled onto the stage. Funshine smiled brightly "why hello! I am funshine." she did alittle twirl of happiness "I hope I can help you grow some beautiful plants!" her eyes shone brightly. twilight hopped onto the stage after Funshine. He waved his small paw to The eagle and cat creature then turned to Funshine and Retho. "hello Retho, I am twilight. I hope we can help you out or give you some tips." he dipped his head. funshine nodded eagerly and hopped onto Retho's head gently. "Will you accept our offer?" she smiled softly her eyes twinkling like the sun. He watched the two rabbit creatures with a stone expression "Yes, we hope you consider out offer. He dipped his head once and kept off the altar spreading his wings and taking to the sky waiting for an answer and and for Retsmah.

Natures Dawn was quite surprised that Mearc decided to travel with her. She was passing by the altar with him, looking at the altar to see if there's any companions that could possibly join them. She caught a glimpse of Retho and then suddenly made a connection with the young faerre. "Hold on one second Mearc. I'd like to listen to her speech." Mearc nodded and they found a spot to sit to hear Retho's speech. Nature, being a plant based creature, shared her love of plants with Retho. Nature looked at Mearc, "I would love to ask her to join our journey.. But I'm a bit nervous that others may be upset with me if I take another faerre on my journey.." she bit her lip slightly. Mearc looked up at Nature, "My dear, you may think that, however.. Why do you want her to accompany us?" Nature thought her words carefully, "Well.. She seems really kind and has a huge heart for plants, I find it amazing that she can create clothes out of fruit. I can truly feel her passion through her occupation and I'd love to travel with her and share her love of plants also." she smiled a bit, her flower on her back blooming a bit more beautifully. Mearc smiled at her, "I don't think anyone could be upset if you two share the same passion, we can give it a chance, it never hurts. I don't mind to have another accompany us, she sounds very energetic and would be a lively addition to us." Nature nodded, her happy to have Mearc's wisdom on her side, she walked up to the stairs.



Nature walked up slowly, some people were infront of her to talk to Retho. She was quite nervous again, getting the same jitters like when she was going to tell a story to Mearc. Her legs buckled a bit, someone behind her furiously telling her to watch herself. "Ah.. I'm sorry.." she stammered. It was getting close to her turn to talk to Retho, she breathed in and out, thinking calm thoughts. She walked up to her, gently bowing her head towards the young faerre. "Hello there Retho, my name is Natures Dawn, though, please do call me Nature." she smiled at her. She gestured slightly to a spot besides her, hoping she could sit besides her. After a few moments, Nature sits with Retho. "Hello Retho, I heard that you have a love for plants, and I do too." she smiled at her, Nature feeling a bit at ease because she's able to share her love of plants with her. "I have been tending to this flower on my back all my life, from tending to it, I learned how important plants are, this flower gives me life." She gestured to the hibiscus on her back, smiling gently. "Me and Mearc are traveling to different locations, I heard that you get tired from traveling, but that's alright, I do too also. Mearc is trying to learn other stories and myths and we would stay in a location for a few weeks or months. So you would have plenty of time to farm and such, I would love to help out and even make clothes and perfumes with them if you teach me, it sounds like so much fun!" Nature smiled, thinking of all these different fruits she could mix with to make a delightful scent. "We would travel back to different places as well, so after a season, we would travel to a new location, so we can let the soil become good again so we don't overwork it. So we would visit it when the season is right! We could do some traveling to somewhere warm during the winter, and you could teach me some of your tricks and stuff, and we can listen to Mearc's discoveries when he find out some stories." She smiled a bit, nodding to herself, then looking at Retho, bowing slightly, "Thank you for the opportunity for me to talk to you, please let me know if you'd wish to travel with Mearc and me, I hope you find the best suitor." Nature smiles as she steps off the altar for the next person to talk to the young faerre.

Ohhh, this faerre is nice, but I'm not in a typey mood... {I actually hate writing up stories, but love thinking of them.} I might try for her, but she isn't really my type.
Oh and, I'd like my art added to the fanart place... I have no other use for it. :c

'Who is it this time?' I growled to myself. I look up at the Altar where the young faerre was standing. I sighed, running to fetch my master. Again.

Me-

I was worn out by the time I made it to the Altar. The minute Blaze had told me I had come running. I stand at the Altar, approching the faerre. "Retho's the name, is it?" I ask. "I see you like friut. Never seen a faerre quite like you. But where I come from, we have excellent Grapefruit. Yes, the sour-sweet fruit. I mean, we have all kinds of fruit. My personal favorite is a green apple. 'An apple a day keeps the docter away!' some people say. I refuse to belive that nonsense. Apples aren't the only fruit. And then theres banannas. There's this recipie I like. Its a bananna and brown sugar in an eggroll. You fry it and eat it. It might sound gross but it's actualy quite good. Ill let you try it. That is, if you decide to come with me." I finish, walking away, flashing back a quick smile.
