The curtains were swept open, allowing moonlight to wash over the oak flooring of the grand Altar. Gaea felt her heart flutter as she took one delicate step into the pool of light and out in front of hundreds of blinking eyes. It was a disconcerting sight.

She felt her fur rise with her mounting tension and the Faerre swallowed nervously, her paws kneading the unyielding floorboards. "I'm Gaea." she said, blinking amber eyes at the crowd. "I'm a Faerre that just reached maturity - I've finished my studies but I haven't been assigned a job yet. I- I'm not sure what I want to be and so I'm here tonight to ask for help." Gaea dipped her head timidly to the crowd and sat down, curling her tail over her paws to hide her shivering.

Gaea will be judged in 7 days, August 25th, 2013, HK Time

Because everyone's asking for a female, here's Gaea! :'D

Ruby rested her head on her paws, " when will I be able to get down to earth mother? " she barked softly. She flapped her wings, it was getting quite restless. Ruby was a pretty strange Heaven dog. Every single Heaven dog had white wings, while she have wings the same color as her body, and no heaven dog was red. They were mostly light colors, darker colors meant hell dogs, but she wasn't a hell dog. Cecila lowered her pale white head, her green eyes staring at Ruby. " After you finish your studies on Heaven. " Cecila stared up, " until we're safe from the hell dogs... "

Ruby panted, even though her stamina was pretty good, they was even better. She ran and lept into the sky, flying away desperately from the hell dogs. Her black eyes scanned her surroundings, she finally spotted the gate to Earth. Only those who finished their studies was able to go through. Ruby tucked her wings, and fell, heading towards the gates. She went right through, but she could feel her magic getting weaker. " So this is what they meant... " her head felt faint, and she fell and fell....
Raising her head, her eyes opened, her black eyes looked at the sky. Instead of a peaceful Earth sky, the sky was red with rage. Heaven was losing..... Ruby untucked her wings, and immediately growled in pain. In her fall, she had broken her left wing. Ruby whimpered, she felt lonely, too lonely... The only thing she could do for them, is to pray hard enough for them to win. Hopefully, they would send some guard dogs for her after they won.
Her whole body ache, but she rested her head on the ground once more, and tucked her wings back. Right now, she vould not think properly, morning, would be the time she settled everything, and get ready for her flight, or at least understand her surroundings. She should rest, to recover the magic she lost when she went through the Earth gate...


Ruby opened her black eyes wearily, " mother? " she barked softly, " where's limi? " Limi was her toy dog, a dog dressed in a dress. She waited for a reply, when she heard a chirp. She turned her head, and saw a red robin. Earth... As she recalled what happened, she stood up and stretched, her whole body stiff. Her wings was better, and magic had been restored, nearly that is.. Her stomach growled, she sniffed and found a dead bear. From her knowledge, and the bear's scent, it had only die reccently. She bit into it, and nearly spat it out. Ruby had never tasted such revolting stuff!

It was strange... she passed through the land and stopped, hearing different noises and sounds that were to muffled up to understand. Walking closer, the turquoise colored feline looked up at the alter. All she could see was a white, blue and black Faerre. Somehow, it felt like they had a lot in common...

Looking up at the Faerre, Jayde listened to her speech closely, thinking it over and over again- just to find the perfect job that Gaea could have. The cold wind blew her fur around and the light of the moon shone on the Faerre. Finally thinking of the perfect one for her, Jayde stood up and made eye contact with her.

Slowly, Jayde looked up to see it was okay, and walked onto the alter, clearing her throat. “Hello Gaea. I am Jayde, and I am here to suggest a job that I think suits you and your personality.” she looked up momentarily to see the expression but just looked back down. “I’ve been thinking about you having a less-social job, where you could be left alone to do what you would need to do. Of course, there are others there- just, not a giant crowd to annoy you.”

Jayde shivered a bit, because it seemed like the moon was staring at her, giving her pressure. “For me, I do not like being in places with many people, so I suggest that you work in the library or with the stars- it’s just so peaceful and quite there, I think you will like it. I love to explore and would love to do so with you too. Are you interested?” Jayde asked, bowing down and waiting for a response.

{ Convincing a Faerre }
A Faerre approaches the Altar and you've found this short trip around this mystical city enjoyable and fascinating, you really, really want to befriend a Faerre... Now's your chance! At the Altar, we'll announce (through the title) when a Faerre decides it's time they wish to leave Vinara to explore the outside world, a brief introduction of the Faerre and it's personality and demands will be posted here and its up to you to convince the Faerre that YOU'RE the best there is! Here are some tips to help you convince a Faerre!

- Put some effort into your 'form'. The minimum requirement is 1 paragraph.
- Do NOT control the Faerre on the altar. You control your character, and the Faerre will respond at the very end of the 'interviewing' period { treat it like a RP, you can control your character but not the 'Altar's character
- Read their introductions, it will tell you what the Faerre is like
- You're not limited to using humans, however the character you use must be your own
- Faerres do not always leave with a companion. Some will decide to remain in Vinara. Sometimes they will reappear to look for a companion, other times they won't.
- Faerres are always open to name suggestions but that doesn't mean they'll accept it!
- *Did you spot some special secret through their speech?

Items can be purchased from the shop to increase the chances of the Faerre getting convinced. If you failed to convince the Faerre the item will be returned to you. If you win, obviously, you'll lose the item.
After each round if you want feedback on your forms and how you could improve next time, feel free to PM me about it!

*IMPORTANT* It seems most of you are confused about the time ^^' I get it, after all we all live in different places! I will ALWAYS put up a warning 1 hour before the actually judging takes place, so look out for that! And if that still doesn't quell your worries, I live in HK, go on google and find HK's current time and date then you'll know when I'll be judging!

*Sometimes there will be hidden secrets buried in the introductory paragraphs of Faerres, pay attention and see if you can spot some 'secrets'!
