Algez snorted in disdain. She had no intention to go bothering graves. The thought of ghosts bothering her put a chill down her spine, however. A gravestone hissed, and she flinched, barely resisting a growl. A flicker of white ran behind the gravestone as well, and it seemed wise to investigate. Well, maybe wise wasn’t the right word. β€œI am sore, tired, smell bad and have been mistaken for a ghost by some crazy old faerre. There is no way that I am giving up now!” Algez growled under her breath as she approached the tombstone.

Nocte fluttered back towards the dock, flapping her wings to dry them. As her gaze landed upon the shivering, soaked form of Algi, her eyes softened with pity.

Being an aerial creature, she'd never experienced drowning before, nor had to ever fear it, growing up in a place with little water sources that were larger than the size of a shallow pond. However, she could easily imagine the panic and fear that flooded one's senses if the cold water ever rushed over her head, the desperation to reach the surface, break away from the relentless, malicious water that threatened to envelope her. Nocte had once experienced something similar, when she had plunged down a mountainside in an attempt to fly, failing miserably with painful results. She'd gotten better after a while, but it was not something she liked to relive.

Settling down, Nocte found herself starting to talk. "You know, I once experienced something like that too. Not drowning, but something really similar. I guess I got a bit over my head, and I just - fell. I was alone then, there was nobody to comfort or help me, and afterwards, I just sat there, shell-shocked. I guess the looming threat of eventual death had never occurred to me before, and the incident jarred me to that realisation."

"But you weren't alone this time, and you needn't be, if you'd like to join me in my travels. How about it?"

(Agh, sorry for the terrible writing, I haven't been very inspired lately. Dx)

Few times you were hit with food in the face (luckily most food were soft except for that uncooked potato someone threw) but you seem to return the favor three times over. And it wasn't long before your side -though you could barely discern one side from another- won and you were released from your task safe and sound, albeit a bit dirtier than expected. As you exited from the dirty cafeteria you bumped into a Faerre and they gave you a once over before giving in to an exasperated sigh. "Another food fight? I swear these Faerres can't eat decently without causing chaos." the female glared at you. Hey! It's not your fault! You swear on all your little toes! You're just a victim -a happy victim! "No need to guess, you probably joined in making a mess of the cafeteria." the lady clicked her tongue. "Well then, why don't you go and write an apology letter then? Yes. An apology letter on how sorry you are for partaking in several Faerre's stupid ideas and making a mess of the cafeteria. Do you know how long it takes to clean those walls?" the Faerre huffed, tail twitching with irritation. "Give that letter to one of the passing Faerres and tell them to give them to the one in charge of cleaning up YOUR mess." With that, the Faerre turned tail and left, muttering and grumbling under her breath about ignorant fools and not being appreciated for her hard work.

{ Barry

Barry leapt over the table.
"Eat that! Literally!" He laughed his hearty laugh, wiping his glasses clean. Starting to move around, he found himself covered in a maraud in caked food.

"Yuck!" He muttered, trying to pardon himself from the mess to clean himself up. Bumping into the lady whom had given him his food, he quietly listened to the rant. "Yes, m'am I did." Barry said meekly, some proud showing from being a winner. Hearing her remark of time of cleaning the walls, he promptly recalled,

"Estimated about three-hundred minutes, though I've heard of someone doing it in thirty." Watching her walk away, telling him to write a letter, he thought he better follow, despite not going to be able to wash up. Luckily, in his little satchel he had carried, was a drawing notebook. Taking a pencil out with it, he sat down at one of the last standing tables.

"Dear M'am Whom This Message Is Concerned To;

I suppose in theory, rambling in a letter doesn't do much good. I'll try to spare you some of your time cleaning the walls, of which I'd love to help partake in, but I'm afraid other things call to, so here I may proceed.

I'm terribly sorry for partaking in the food fight, for three reasons; One, I loved the food. I could just eat it all day! All that good food, gone to waste... Two, I helped make such a mess! I'm normally very neat, but I suppose food won't get into that subject. And Three, I know even a forth of the Faerres won't even offer to help you clean! I feel bad for you, really, but I'm more of a messenger type and rarely do I sit in a spot for one second to do something not mind stimulating. It does take alot of guts to do what you do, as well, and my stomach isn't the best with mixed together food when it's not being thrown.

I know this all sounds cheesy, but I'm not the best writer when I'm covered in food. But I know to not complain, as I brought it amongst myself. Anywho, you'll find a little recipie of food from my College encluded with my signature and departing note, I hope you like it.

Sincerely, with dearest regards,

Leiutanant Barry Cartamund Vallenci, LoTL.

*Right here, enclosed, is a small recipie of some sort.* "

Proudly, Barry stood up and folded the letter and put it in a Manilla Envelope, before trouping off to find another Lunch lady.

Crimson Holly wrote:Handing your envelope to a passing lunch Faerre who promised to hand it to the 'grumbling head' you happily went on your way to find a place to shower off -I mean, who would want to meet someone covered in spaghetti and pasta? You'd probably scare off any 'hidden' Faerres anyways! Trudging along you cocked your head upwards to look for signs that direct you to the changing/wash rooms, according to the 'grumpy head' these food fights weren't uncommon so there must be some kind of bathroom for Faerres to clean up after these fights… right? Shrugging off your doubts you stopped when you came across a fork in the road. A sign in front read.

<---- Washroom ---- Bathroom ----->

Erm… what's the difference? Shrugging, you decided to go...

Sarill wrote:Gathering your wits and checking yourself from bursting into hysterics in the next few seconds you peered around the gravestone. A white and black shape tackled you and pummeled you to the ground before bounding off again. With a grunt, you stood up on shaky paws, suppressing that shudder of fear as you watch the flash of white and black dodge behind another tombstone. Warily you edged around that gravestone, curiosity getting the better of you and this time when the flash of white sped towards you, you were ready. Quickly dodging aside and slipping out your paw the mix of white and black seem to stagger in it's dash, tripping over your outstretched limb and landed with a painful 'Umph!' Now that the offending creature, spirit, ghost- WHATEVER! stopped moving, you finally got a better look.

Image
The Faerre got up slowly, it's eyes glowing viciously at you as it hissed. "Get out." it hissed. You took a step back. Was he perhaps… one of the Faerres in the event? "Get out!" the Faerre growled again, hackles rising. Hmn… but aren't all event Faerres, Faerres that want to leave Vinara willingly? This one's intention seemed… different. The black and white Faerre seemed to have taken your silence offensively as he bared his teeth and ran behind the closest tombstone. "Leave me alone! I know what you're thinking! I'm evil! I'm bad! Scary! Just because I'm born like this-" his tail flicked angrily. "-doesn't mean I'll bring bad luck! My fur is just special! Or else mother wouldn't name me Luck!"

Luck's eyes widened at his unintentional slip, growling softly he ducked his head and hid behind the gravestone.

You found Luck! Convince him to stay with you!

Kale_dragon_keeper wrote:"Oooh! I'm sorry for bringing up any bad memories miss, but I can see why you're so strong now! I'm so honored to have met you!" the young Faerre smiled waving her tail before bouncing away. "I can't wait to see you in the next round!" You watched the Faerre bounce away as you placed on a fake smile. Hopefully you won't be in any next round. Nervously you began exploring the rest of the stadium, passing the huge columns that support the structure as you stuck to the shadows, lowering your head to prevent others from recognizing your face. You went unnoticed for a while, but being not a native from the area it wasn't long until someone stopped you again. This time it was a warrior. The Faerre looked you up and down suspiciously and you felt dread began crawling up your skin as you stood still under the guard's scrutiny. "Never seen you before." Well, that's because you came here as a visitor! "You don't look trustworthy at all! Prove that you're not a threat to Vinara, what are the three sacred rules The Queen placed down when she opened the barriers?"

Raindrop wrote:Algi shivered, sniveling quietly. "You've been through something similar as well?" he asked cautiously as he crept closer. "No.. I'm not alone this time, and thanks to you I'm alive." he murmured softly as curious eyes looked into yours. "I..I'd like to join you in your travels… that's…that's if you'll have me of course.." the shaken Faerre stuttered before a sneeze rocked his small frame.

Congratulations! You've wooed Algi!

{ Barry

With a rather relieved sigh, the male departed from the large messy area. Now, he had no excuse to be that social. Unless whatever Faerre, if he met one, decided to bring food. Then the male would gladly talk.

Upon walking the halls that were bustling, he attempted to pick clumps of food off of him on fail, deciding to actually wash up properly. Heading forward, Barry's decision making was trying him again.

"Oh dear." He muttered. "I have enough trouble picking what type of bread I want on a sandwich!" Barry distraughtly turned one way, before backing up and turning the other.

"Bathroom? Washroom?" He fretted in his mind, looking a freak to everyone else whom might be bored enough to watch him. Trying to think logically, he sat down in an attempt to get calm.

'If I go in the Washroom... it'll probably be like a gym shower room, or an something similar.' Barry thought, adding to it, 'And I don't want to get the Bathrooms even more dirty. I've made a big enough mess as is." The Collie got back up, turning the corner and very slowly walking; as if he was waiting to just fall and get ready to be tackled by something. Or someone. Though that was very unlikely.

You could hear the Common Faerre's grin in his words. "Good good, hopefully you have learned a lesson from our little .. chat" Almost as quickly as he had came the small faerre and his two brute brothers disappeared into the wood. The three's departure left you standing there in the middle of the path a bit dazed and breathless, after a few moments of starring into the darkness of the underbrush it dawned on you, you should probably tell someone about the three, it was unsafe to allow them to stay in the area expectantly with the competition going on, they could really hurt someone you know! you turned and continued down the path at a steady pace, before long you came to a cross roads, looking down the dirt path you could see shadows of what looked like warriors ahead, looking down the cobble stone path you could see what looked like the sky line of Srail. which path would you take?

{ T H O R I N }

The poor mountainhound was miffed and more than a little shaken at the turn of events, he felt like a victim of a rather unruly and unfair Robin Hood, and felt only too happy at the thought of getting some help. The contest would be in dire straights if the three "crusaders" got their filthy paws on some other poor unsuspecting saps, and it seemed a wretched shame to possibly allow this misfortune to fall on someone else.

So it was that Thorin came to a crossroad, one path seemed to lead towards civilization and Srail, while down a dirt path he thought he could see the shadows of some warriors. Without thinking Thorin turned down the dirt path and headed for the shadows of the warriors, he figured they were probably there to keep things orderly, and it seemed illogical to him to go out of his way into the city, when it appeared that there were some warriors up ahead who could help him.

Dawnbreeze10210|~

The chubby courier took your letter with a huff, stamped it and shoved it haughtily in the nearest castle couriers bag. "NOT QUICK ENOUGH!" she barked at you, pointing a paw for you to get out of the letter room. You left with your head low, but your hear high, maybe you were not cut out to be a courier for the faerries but you knew in your heart the queen would love your letter. you rounded the corner to hear the castle courier who was delivering your letter yelp and yell "My bag!! Oh no, someone stop her that thief has taken may bag!" you ran towards the fallen courier to see him laying sprawled on the ground in tears. Looking around you saw a lithe form dash around a corner into a back ally. You could stay and comfort the courier or you could chase down the thief and save your letter, and return the bag.

Aseka|~

the small courier nodded and took off, a look of pleased thanks on his small face. A surge of pride welled up in your chest as you saw the look on his face, it was good to help others. Not wanting to wait another minuet you padded off in a random direction, It was plain to see that there was almost nothing in this area but many many more crates, a slight shier worked it's way down your spine as you looked at them and wondered if there was anyone else caught in them. This reminded you of your own recent ordeal within a crate, and you were filled with a sudden urge to run as far away from here as possible. As you turned mind set on getting away it occurred to you, Why would they leave you here if there was not a prize hidden amongst the crates? I mean, a shipping yard full of crates would be the perfect place for a prize faerre to hide wouldn't it? You licked your lips in wonderment, what if there was some poor faerre locked in one of the crates whimpering and waiting for a contestant to find it? It was a very promising prospect. Would you stay here and look, or would you run away from this place?

Rimtuo|~

The crazed Faerre opened its mouth and let out a very frothy snarl, at your answer. You whimpered still caught under his grasp as he reared back and let our yet another crazed snarl. Spittle and flem flew every were as he continued on with this escapade, and you shivered away from him wondering what kind of disease he could have to make him act this way. Finally the faerre seemed the calm down, and he moved off of you. quietly he sat back on his haunches and began muttering to himself seemingly oblivious to you even being there. Slowly ever slow slowly you stood up and shook of the dirt and stuff from the faerres mouth. You watched him silently for a couple of minuets, his eyes seemed to be blank, dead to the world as he muttered to himself his bright white flame dancing around his head. After a few moments you decided it was of no more use to you to stay there and you began to move on. You had only taken two steps before the old faerre piped up in a crackly voice. "Place is dangerous, faerres go crazy out here, stay away from a smiling face. " you shrugged, it off just the bablings of a crazed old coot. And quickly began at a much faster pace away from the old mage. Once again you came to a cross roads of dark and light. A shiver ran through your spine as you remembered the last time you had to choose between the two. Once again you were faced with the choice, head for the dark or stick to the light.
