I'm thinking of ways to incorporate it in his as of yet unfinished personality/ history

On a tangent, anyone else excited about seeing the movie about Edgar Allen Poes works being used as murders? I can't wait to see it.

From deep within the cavern there came the soft murmuring of a voice. It was deep and poetic, but seemed to be conversing with itself as it came closer. Then, things went quiet. The suitors waited apprehensively, wondering what would make it's appearance. After a long moment Xases turned his great head to see the shadows at the back of the cavern, recognizing the glimpse of chestnut coat and gold eyes that was all to familiar to him. "Kavinan," he said. At the sound of his name, the new Tali seemed to come out of his reverie. His vibrant red and ice blue coat shone in the dim light as he stalked forward from the shadows. He bowed his head to Xases before turning to the suitors staring at him. "I am Kavinan," he spoke. "And I seek a companion to show me the world and its literature. I'm not so fond of adventures except for those that are written on paper. If you feel as though I might like what you have to offer, please, approach me," he finished, sitting where he had been standing as he waited.

/end muse battle. First Tali :3 Just a little info on him:
*Kavinan is Tamil for "poet"
*His coat is based off of a well-known poem; if you think you know, put it in your Woo. Both the title and who wrote it. It won't affect your Woo by much, but it might impress him if you know.
*Be creative! He's going for best form with the most creative woo.

No, they will not, as they are not Tali.
On another note, I've been thinking about bumping up that limit anyway. What do you guys think? Should I keep the limit at four, or bump it up to 6?

Username:

With large, swooping wings, a bloodred mane of fur
running down his long and graceful neck, narrow but strong and
sinewy back and on the tip of his tail, Nocte is a handsome fellow.
Stealy green-grey horns protrude from the top of his forhead and
run along slightly curved for a good amount of time, and end in a
sharp point. A maroon and rather small nose matches the color of
the boardering on the markings of his wings. Nocte has the same
bloodred color or red around his eyes, with one curl extending up,
and one longer one leaning down to the earth. Dark and electrifying
blue feelers that come off of his snout slink down his neck, twisting
up at the ends to match the curve. Midnight black in his main color,
everything that is even a shade lighter stands out like a sore thumb
on this lovely guy, but not in a bad way. Darker than the feelers, he
has markings like flames ridging his broad and wide wings. Firey red
claws adorn his paws, three toes each in front and one in back.
Brown-red eyes that seem sad are inlaid to his long skull.

Dark and semi-bat-like
wings fold over his back in leathery
swooping arches; at the middle of his
wings, flesh turns to feathers and
large black feathers continue down the
way to rest against his back, in the place
where wings and back meet. A long,
thick tail ending in a tuft of crimson
fur helps balance his long, tall and narrow
body in flight, and on the ground, where
he feels so much less courdinated
and much more bulky with a bad case
of bull-in-the-china-shop syndrome.
Lastly, long ivory-white teeth rest in his
mouth, looking very much like those of
a canine friend, long canines and wide
insisors and a very much red tounge.

Reason why you want it:
I want this drake for a few reasons, one of which being that everyone wants the lady, and he's not getting much love, so I think I'll try out for him and see what happens then. I love his color, he just seems so deep in personality and mysterious. His expression gives him character, and Nocte's wings are absoloutly gorgeous with their longness and the way that they swoop down with a claw on the end of each ridge. That little detail of his wings gives him so much more than if it had just ended in flesh. I also would like him because I am in love with this lineart, and thread, pretty much, so I'd love to get another Tali to keep Illusion company. I'm a total dragon lover, and this one really stands out to me, especially since he's not totally and completely dragon-like. Nocte's teeth look a little canine to me, and of course, there are a few hints that tie him to a Tali as his cousin. Plus, he just looks so awesomesauce it's hard not to swoon when I see him. :B

Will it be used in any kind of story?
Nothing too major, he might be used in a few short stories, and
maybe a few woos here, but I'm not going to brandish Nocte
all over the internet.

Describe its personality:
Nocte, like all living creatures that. . . live. . . doesn't have one set way that he acts. Mainly though, Nocte is quiet and reserved, choosing to only talk to those who know him, important things that he must say to important creatures, and when it is required. He is rather silent and plainly obediant, though dignified and holding an almost soldier-like posture, but not one of a commoner, one of a general. Though he may seem cut off and reserved, Nocte is actually quite sweet and sympathetic to others, and he never has any reason to hurt anyone, but does act as if they aren't there, that they don't exist and he lives in a private world. But, however, he is very strong-willed, and usually consents to have his own way. Around friends and close ones, Nocte is very relaxed and funny, which some find surprising if they only saw the drake that they thought that they knew, but it is really just a mask that is worn to mask inner turmoil. He sometimes seems to be almost shy, but glaring defiantly out at anyone who appears to seem disturbed at his behavior. Every now and then, Nocte will melt away into the shadows to think and reflect; this usually happens at night, or later evening so that he can rethink the day and see what he could do better with tomorrow.

Agile and swift, Nocte is not lazy and lax, but rather ridgid and slightly strict with his regimin. He can run, dodge trees that seem to pop up out of nowhere, and of course commit amazing leaps. Nocte is very spiritual, and meditates for long periods of time when he has nothing to do, most often this is when doesn't have to be talking or listening. He agrees that there is such a thing as overworking, and knows he must be in top physical and mental form for anything that may happen in his life. A major flaw in his personality is that he can be very opinionated and sometimes doesn't know when is the right time to be silent, and when is the right time to be free and loud. Nocte can also be a little too persistant, which can be annoying.


Write a short story for your drake:
Starring Tsunami, Illusion, and Marauder {me}

"Move over, you great lump," Maurader said, not unkindly, brushing aside Tsunami's huge mass of dark navy blue fur with it's softly glowing symbols. Or part of it, as she walked to his front legs, standing next to his non-mechanical one. "Where did you say you found her?" she muttered softly to the huge Daeet, who lowered his head to hear her quiet words.
"Over here," he grunted in a deep and gravely voice, thudding over to a deep cavern where he stood, not wanting to go inside yet.
"Hey, Illusion," Marauder called to the Tali, who had been sniffing a bush with curiousity. She grunted and flicked her heavy tail. "I need you for a minute." When Illusion turned around, her tail stopped whipping through the air like a chopper, and grew ridgid. "Is this where you. . .came from?"
"Yea," Illusion muttered, tail resuming it's usual movement and Maurader stooped to avoid it taking off her head. And so, the three walked inside. Illusion immidiatly relaxed, along with Maurader, as they saw others of their kind. Humans and Tali alike where looking at two strange new beings. Strange, but beautiful. As they stopped moving and came to a good spot to stop, all Maurader caught from the lead Tali's speech thing about the two was
"-All that is known about these two is that they are siblings."
The black one was the one that caught Maurader's eye, and she knew right then and there, that she wanted this creature to know who she was. And then they where free to go and talk to the two magnificent creatures. One looked male, the other looked female, but of course, they could also be like the Tali, who were genderless but knew which gender they where. Just as Illusion knew she was female. They approached, and he turned his large, long, graceful head to her and spoke.
"Hello, human. What brings you here to see me? Only one other has visited the area where I am,"
Marauder faltered for a moment.
"Um, we, um, came to, er see if you wanted to go with us on our travels," as she finished saying this, the human threw a slight glance over her shoulder to see if she'd worded it correctly. Tsunami and Illusion nodded, and Marauder continued on before her courage deserted her entirely. "Of course, we're not it. There are others like Tsunami, and a few deer that accompany us, but Illusion here is the only Tali in our little group," Reaching out to Illusion to put a palm on her shoulder, which was well over Maurader's head by about a foot or two. Maurader felt very small around all of these huge creatures, but after a while you get used to it.
"Erm, hey. . . buddy," Illusion stuttered slightly as the drake turned his piercing gaze onto her instead. "So, um, what's your name?" At first, the drake looked a little confused by her question, and Maurader thought that he wouldn't answer and send them away, but then he took a shaky breath, which was odd considering how reserved he'd been, and replied:
"My name, my name is Nocte, Illusion. And I know who you are, as you have been introduced by your human friend. What is your name, human?"
"Maurader," she answered without batting an eye. People where often suprised at her name, but whatever. They didn't get her Hufflepuff jokes either, so it didn't bother her. Instead, Nocte smiled.
"You have an original name, I like it."
"Um, thanks, Nocte." Then Tsunami -who had been silent all the way- said gruffly,
"So are you gonna come with us or not?" This statement made Maurader groan, he was so hard-headed at times. . . But Nocte just laughed.
"You have spunk. I will consider your offer, but you must move now because night is falling, and many dangers lurk in the shadows." He tapped all their foreheads with his snout or a tip or his wing, in Tsunami's case because he was so large. "Get some rest and I will think, sleep now." The three turned and walked out of the cavern but as they left, Maurader called over her shoulder, "Thank you, Nocte." Then she clambered up Tsunami's leg to rest on his back, because they moved faster that way and he was less likely to trample her if she was on his back. Then, they bounded off, the conversation that they had had with the drake ringing in their ears.
