Yep, I decided to make a poem inspired by my friend who made he wear star sticky notes on my head all day. XD It was kind of surprising though, since I got quite fond of them, and they actually looked kinda good in my hair. Strange, I know.
Anyways, here it is!
Also, just so you know, I am not a poetic person who does rhyming poems. >.> I lost interest in that kind of stuff quite a few years ago, so please do not say anything such as 'It doesn't rhyme! D:' or stuff of the sort.

.: Head in the Stars :.
That girl, she's got her head in the stars.
Always smiling, always dreaming.
She just stares at those stars all day- planning to reach out and grab them.
She gets pushed down,
But she always gets back up
Not ready to give up just yet
Many different names are thrown over at her
But she can't hear them,
Or rather, she just ignores their harsh words
Even when there are times when it seems the world is just raining down on her
She's going to keep her spirits up and a smile on her face
For what is life if you don't smile?
She's not going to doubt that she can accomplish her dreams,
Nor will she doubt the goals of others
For if they work hard, they can fulfill them
She's not going to change herself for others, since others should like her for who she is
She won't put on makeup when she doesn't want to, or change her attitude
Who she is, is simply who she is
'Live in the present, not the past.'
Is what she'll say on day filled with troubling memories of the day before that
If she kept her mind focused on the past, she'd never be able to move on to the new adventures that await her
Taking chances is an everyday choice-
And she knows that.
At times when others back down, she won't be afraid to step out in the middle of a crowd
She believes that life can't just be written out by itself,
And sometimes, you have to take over
And make choices, chances, and more to write out your own story in life
Yes, that girl is a dreamer-
A hyperactive one at that.
However, she isn't planning to back down for what she believes in.
And she isn't planning to give up just yet.
She's just going to keep her head up in those stars, without a care in the world.
And one day, at some point in her life,
She'll reach out,
And grab one of those stars.
But for now....
She just stares at those stars all day- planning to reach out and grab them.
