(( This is my first go at something like this!! let me know what you think! if people like it I will keep going if not Ill move on to something else.))
Many are unaware that we exist. Many denied it, and I was one of them living in ignorant bliss, telling my self that things that went bump in the night weren't real, they we just my imagination but oh, how untrue that was, now looking back on it, I feel stupid to think of such things....
It was the 2nd day in December The wind was crisp and cold, it was to the point it hurt to breath it in, fresh snow covered everything, but I knew right where is was, slowly making my way to the grave I huffed and puffed, trying not to lose my breath.... I stood before the large gray stone slowly reading the engraved words "Lilith A. Delonin". I was never one for crying, but at that moment I could feel the tears slowly welling up, and the knot growing in my throat. It had been 7 years since my mother passed away. I placed the flowers on her grave, and standing there silent, I couldn't hold it back any longer, the tears began to fall.
After I was done there, I went to Harlee's for a bite to eat, and to talk to Harlee she was always there for me, ever since we were kids but at 15, her with boobs, and I lacking she didn't want to be seen with the likes of me, so we lost touch but still we would exchange smiles in the halls with a hello when my mother died, she was there, and ever since then she had been to the point she would choose me over men. I guess she seen the error of how she treated me when we were younger, but that is besides the point. I ordered my usual, but something seemed odd, not the food, but the atmosphere there was electric was in the air like something bad was going to happen. The regulars sat in their booths making quite small talk unaware of the impending doom.
Black pine was a small town in the back woods of Pennsylvania. It was nothing more then a small farm town, everyone knew each other, kids would run for house to house, men stood in the hardware store, laugh and give each other advice. Life here was slow, but this winter wasn't the same as the last, there were reports of wild wolves running a muck, attacking live stock, and then...there were some rumors, like every small town, a simple story gets twisted, and twisted till no truth remained... From what Mr. Tenner said, the beast stood chest high, eyes like burning embers of hell, fur sliver and pure as the virgin moon light...and fangs as white as the snow on the ground, glinting with any flicker of light. Mr. Tenner was always one for make things up, ever since his wife died his tales got taller and taller, most people though it was because he was lonely, and wanted some one to listen to him or talk to him, but that was far from the case, when anyone would try to get close, he would push them away soon, he was alone.
But...Back to the impending doom....
