Pet's name: Claw

Claw's story

A fiery red egg rested in a stone nest, shaking as if waiting to hatch. The First cracks started to appear in the side of the egg as the shaking grew quicker. After three or four more shakes the roof of the egg shell broke away revealing a small lizard like creature. With a stretch and a few quick blinks the creature clambered from its shell. Stretching once more it flexed its tiny wings, instantly lifting it from the ground. It flapped its wings once more, giving it more leverage, then pulled the rest of its body up o everything was level.

A loud echoing snort gave way to smoke exiting from both nostrils, this was followed by a cheerful squeak and the creature, which was now recognised as a dragon chick, baring his fangs. Much to the amusement of the other newly hatched dragon chicks that had come from eggs similar to his.
