Prolouge (unfinished)
Hedie trotted up and down the field nervously she looked at Dark he was the lead stallion of the herd and she was the lead mare. Dark was the father of her soon to be born foal. She nuzzled him and he did the same. Suddenly Snoop –one of the herd’s lower males- couldn’t take it anymore he reared with anger in his dark red eyes. Hedie was the love of Snoop’s life ever since they were foals he had asked her to be his mate once or twice but she declined. By the time Snoop had asked Hedie she had already fell deeply in love with Dark. It seemed like Snoop had an evil smile on his face as he trotted up to Dark proudly. Snoop looked over at Hedie and into her deep blue eyes. Snoop took a step towards her and nuzzled her, but she immediately pulled away taking a few steps backwards. Dark snorted in anger Hedie was his mate not Snoop’s!
The herd heard the loud clash of Snoop’s hooves into Dark’s chest. The herd galloped over under the rock that Hedie, Dark, and Snoop were standing on they all looked up. Snoop smirked evilly and shouted “It’s time someone else took control of this herd and of your mate!” Hedie whined pinned her ears and ran she had no idea where she was going, but she knew she didn’t want to be back at her herd. Dark and Snoop reared and the fight had begun.
