Note: This is the full story, i put all the pages together in this post. Also, this starts at 2012 and ends at 2016. And, there might be some spelling and grammar errors, but please bare with me. Noe...let the story..BEGIN!
---------

I opened my eyes too a new world. I was just a little puppy, nothing more nothing less. It was January 1, and all the members of chicken smoothie marched in.
"I can't wait to see this months second generation pets!" One cheered.
"I'm going to get a rare this month! Just you watch!" Another bragged.
A group of people opened the door that had a picture of a spider on it. some walked into the room with a caterpillar on it. Some went to the kittens. All of a sudden, a swarm of people opened the doors to my room and ran right it.
"I want six!" One yelled.
"I'll take four!" Another one declared.
Dog after dog, they were all taken. Then, someone picked me and a few other of my siblings up and threw them into her group, "Soon to be rares." I thought it was an odd name, because after all, none of us looked very rare. I looked into her eyes. She seemed stern, annoying, displeased and angry. I put my paws over my head and I crawled underneath my blanket, wishing that he was really nice.
When she arrived in the, "Soon to be rares" group, she dumped in cold wet meat and warm water. I whined and scurried back to my cage, closing my eyes wishing this was all a dream. It had to be a dream. How could anything bad happen to such a well behaved pup like me? A loud growl interrupted my thoughts. It was a grown dog, black with a skull marking on it's leg. It wasn't rare. I looked up. The group he was in was titled, "Donating to the pound." I looked to the next group. It was titled, "Trading - only for OMG so rares." I whined. This was no loving, caring, friendly owner that picked me up. she was greedy, and all she wanted was rare pets! I looked at the other dogs that were with me. They had crawled under their blankets or were cowering in the corner. I looked up at my owner, with a tear in my eyes. But she didn't seem to notice, she just moved on.
A few days later the lady came and threw disgusting food into our group, and we all nibbled on it, but we seemed to be life less. The group across from us was smaller, and the "Trading" one was down to four pets. Everything seemed silent, and boring. We looked to the house across from us, to see amazing pets dressed up, fed nice warm food, loved, and put in signatures so they could go for walks. That didn't seem like it would happen to us anytime soon.
I looked above to see OMG So Rares. The pets there were all dressed up, given love and attention, fed nicely and put in signatures. Because they were good pets, unlike us. I wished that some day I would be one of them. But that day was not today, or any day soon. At least not for now.
I sighed, shaking my fur here and there, with my head down. I was useless and unloved, and my so were my siblings. Every day we would lay next to each other and think of happy thoughts, joke, laugh, and smile. When the owner wasn't around, we had a great life. I just hoped she would go on vacation and never come back.
Weeks had passed, and she still showed no sign of love and care. The Donate to Pound group was no empty, and the other group was empty as well. We had all grown a bit, no need for blankets or rest anymore. we were still small though. All accept me. I was still curled up with my blankie. No one sat by my side anymore.
They made fun of me, calling me names like Shrimp, Tiny, and Runt. A few days later, my owner opened up our cage shouting with anger. Her friend had told her the dogs this month didn't have any rare chances.
"I don't need you anymore!" She threw us into the Pound group and marched away.
I woke up to the sounds of screeching, barking, meowing, and howling. It sounded like i was back in the pet store! But the ground wasn't warm and cozy carpet, it was a cold hard white floor. A chill went down my spine. The animals here were old. Really, really old. Many of them were rare. I looked around frantically, my head darting in every direction.
Oh no. I though. I'm in the pound.
My little heart beat. I looked behind me. I looked beside me. I looked above me. My brothers and sister were no where to be found. I let out a howl, scratching the bars to my cage, doing the same as every other pet in here.
"Help me! I don't belong in here!" I yowled.
"New recruit, huh? You don't look special at all." A perky, preppy voice said. I turned around to see a pink owl with a read heart over her eyes. She flew over to me.
"Who are you?" I asked, backing up into the corner.
"My name is Owl. Great name, right?" She laughed, lifting her wings into the air. Then she looked at me. "And who are you?"
I sighed. "I don't have a name." I shook my head. "My owner was rude, all she ever did was get OMG So Rares and love them...everything else...was just nothing to her."
"My owner was leaving forever. But he had to go first thing, so she had no time to give us away to new homes. He just dumped us here in the pound." She sighed. "I'm going to call you Zip, okay?" She said.
"Yeah...sure, I guess." I sat down.
"How long have you been here?" I asked Owl.
"A month. Today's my last day. If I don't get a home, I'm a goner. So, Zip, how long have you been on this world?" She asked.
"A couple weeks..." I mumbled.
"Oh my, looks like somebodies not going to get adopted any time soon!" She laughed, flying over to another side of the cage.
I woke up to loud foot steps, running and screaming. thousands of people were racing, breaking cages open, grabbing pets and pushing people. People stopped to look at pets, but only for five seconds. They raced people, trampling everyone, fighting over pets. The animals had gone wild, too.
Owls were flying everywhere, screeching. Rats, spiders, and guinea pigs were all over. Bunnies and fish hopping around to safety. Butterfly wolves were flying to the roof, hiding. Puppies and kittens were racing around like wild. all except for me. Owl was picked up by someone. I couldn't tell who, because he ran out before anyone stole her form him.
"GOOD LUCK!" Owl yelled, waving her wing. "HOPE YOU GET A GOOD HOME!" She screeched.
A loud ring filled the room. the huge clock on the wall said 0:00. Everyone raced out, all the pets scurried back to their cages. It started off chaos, ended relaxing. I sighed, sitting in the back.
It was now February. I was a month old. I hadn't noticed that I lost my blanket, my tail grew out, and my head was bit larger. I was too scared to notice.
A man walked up to my cage and leaned over, feeding me and giving me water, checking my health.
"If you don't get adopted today, little one," he started, "We're just going to have to put you to sleep." He sighed, writing something on his clipboard. He got up and walked away. I looked at him, my eyes twinkling, with hope and love.
Why? Why must this happen to me? I thought, whining. I walked to the back of my cage and curled up into a ball.
I woke up again. Running, screaming, yelling, shouting, barking, howling, meowing, scratching, all the sounds were familiar. It was now February. yesterday the owner of the pound had a talk with me. Today was my last day. I had given up all hope.
I was so upset with the pound I didn't even realize I was full grown. I looked up at a lady who pat my head. She smiled, and opened my cage. Grabbing me, she laughed and danced.
"Yes! My first PPS pet!" She cheered. She ran in circles, and excited the door. I licked her face, happy that I was free. Until-
Wait..PPS?! I looked at my reflection in the shop window near by I was still a baby puppy. I was all black, with bright yellow lighting bolts on my fur, with grey patches for clouds. I howled.
"Yipee! I'm a special dog!" I barked and wiggled; smiling like a maniac.
As soon as we got home, she put me in her group titled, "NEVER FOR TRADE!" and dressed me up. I got roast beef, bacon, and warm milk. She pet me, and gave me the best dog bed in the whole world. I was pampered, spoiled, loved, and important.
I had never felt this way. Never felt so good, so happy, so special. The best part was that this would never have to end; after all, I have Peter Pan Syndrome. I'm a very important puppy!
Days, weeks, months had passed. I remained her favorite pet. she loved me, she pampered me, she made me the best dog in the whole wide world. I had forgotten all about my dreaded; harmful past. I had moved on to a new, wonderful life. I loved all of the other pets, and most of them loved me back. All accept Montha.
"You're worthless. Who cares if you stay young forever? Not me. Not anyone!" Montha said, licking her paws. She made me feel like a pound pet again. But that didn't bother me, because I knew I wasn't. I knew I had a perfect home. I knew I had a great owner. Montha was just jealous everyone was interested in me because I had a horrible life and a long journey.
All of the other pets, from any and every group, would come to listen to me tell the tales of my journey. Of course I added some twists and turns, false information, and lots of unbelievable exaggeration, but no one questioned me because they were fascinated. The only person who thought every story I told was suspicious was Montha and her friend Lin. Luckily they never said a word, never told anyone I had no life, never told the truth. I guess for once, telling lies was good. I just hoped no one found out and had to teach me a valuable lesson.
That's one of the last things I need. after all, I'm in a heavenly wonderland at the moment, and if one tiny thing went wrong, everything would come crashing down leaving me in the dump. Again.
I have to admit, though. I've become very, very spoiled and rotten. If anyone did anything to try and top me, I'd spread rumors about them and make sure I remained the best.
A year had passed. The person who owned me was too old to play, so she gave us all away. Every rat, bat, dog, cat, guinea pig, item, dragon, spider, butterfly wolf, fish, they were all long gone. I was the last to go. I went to a boy who liked spiders. He thought I was 'cool' because I was black with lighting bolts. When she sent the trade to him, me and three other of her pets, he looked at me.
"Perfect." I heard him say, and he took my cage.
I had to do something. I didn't want to be stuck with a new family. I ran around whining. and I wrote a letter to my beloved owner. I scratched words and symbols onto an old napkin. I picked it up with my teeth and threw it at her.
As she picked it up, she read it, laughed and tossed it away.
"I'm to old to care." I heard her mumble as she walked away. And just like that, she disappeared into the night.
Living with this new person was terrible. He fed us good food, we had a nice bed, and Halloween items on. But his house was scary, freaky, disgusting, and just plain odd. he had spiders and bats here and there. Creepy looking dogs with skulls in another corner. And Owl! I ran up to my cage and tilted my head.
Why would I scary guy want a Valentines pet like Owl? I thought. She was girly, pink and red, hearts over her eyes. She wasn't spooky like any other pet here. Shy glanced at me and smiled.
"Zip! It's good to see you again. What happened this time?" She asked flapping her wings.
"Well, I was pampered and loved, cared for, spoiled and selfish, but then it all ended. A year later my awesome owner was 'too old' for me or any other pet. And we were no longer in her heart.
"Awww, that's too sad." Owl said, flapping her wings and flying around her cage. "Oh, by the way, I have a new name! It's Red." She informed me, sitting by the other owls.
"This is Blue, Black, Orange, Pink, Green, Grey, Purple, Silver, Rainbow, and White." She said, pointing to owls with her wing. She smiled and said, "While I may be different, I'm one of the gang!" She smiled.
"That's good. That's really good." I replied, curling up in a ball. "I'm going to take a little nap. Wake me up later, will you?" I said.
"Sure thing, Zip!" Red chirped, zooming here and there.
I awoke to the noise of bumping, rattling, and yelling.
"Red? Red?" I yelled. I looked around. all the owls except Blue were gone.
"Blue! What's happening? How long have I been asleep?" I asked, seeing all that was left was Blue, me, a couple spiders, and a rat.
"You've been asleep for six months." He replied, hiding at the tip of his cage.
"What?!" I yelped, jumping to the back corner as I saw someone look at me and poke me.
"Eh...you aren't very cool. Hey, what about that rat? He's awesome. I'll take him."
"Yipee! See you losers later!" The rat squeaked as he was carried out of the room.
Blue shook his head, wrapping himself up with his wings. "Our master cheated. He made multiple accounts. Now his pets are being given away."
"Oh my...where's red?" I asked, whining.
"A girl in a frilly pink dress with long curly red pig tails and freckles took her. She was renamed to Samantha, and was given a tea set and a teddy bear." Blue replied, refreshing his memory.
"Oh no! First Owl, then Red, now Samantha?!" I yelped. Poor Owl, being tossed around like a doll.
"Yeah." Blue nodded filled with sadness, then he screamed.
"Another human! Hide!" He closed his eyes and hid at the top of his cage.
I curled up in a ball, looking just like the cage so no one would grab me.
"Oh, cool! 2011 spiders! I'll take all of them!" The little human yelled. It sounded like a girl, but it was wearing a dark red hood so I couldn't tell.
Suddenly all the lights turned off and the doors were locked.
"Oh no! They left us here!" Blue cried, looking around. "Quick, make noise so they come back!" He yelled, bumping his cage, flapping is wings, screeching and clawing the walls.
I howled, whined, barked and yelped, jumping all around, hitting the cage with my tail. We made a lot of noise, so much that the pound keeper broke open the door.
"Oh my, how interesting!" The pound keeper smiled and opened out cages, holding us in her arms.
"You'll have a nice home soon, I promise little critters." She said, walking out. She closed and locked the door behind her. A couple steps, and the building disappeared forever. I hung my head in sorrow, hoping I would find a new home.
I couldn't believe it. I was back in the pound. I have gone through three homes and I've been put in the pound twice. I looked up at the pound keeper.
"I'm a two year old PPS dog and no one wants be. I have gone from uncommon to rare. I'm cute, fun, and still a baby. How come no one wants me?" I whined, looking into her eyes. My ears folded back as I yowled.
"Don't worry little fella. The pound opens in just a couple of minutes!" She exclaimed, rubbing my head.
"Oh, good." I sighed, putting my head down. What was next? Someone who was always busy so she never fed us but we were forced to stay? No, how about someone who pampered us but never even noticed me? Or better yet, how about I'm an only pet and then all of a sudden I get traded away because she wants other pets. The possibilities were endless. While they could all be different, it was all the same. I found a new home, I lost it to another or even the pound. I myself was getting bored with my life, and that's not something you hear every day.
"Does anyone love me enough to take me home and keep me for goodness sake?!" I howled so loud the entire pound hushed. Eye by eye, I was stared at. I heard a rat squeak, but it was quickly silenced by a spider.
"You think you're special?" A dog asked. "I'm from 2008 and I'm in here. I've run in and out of thirteen homes. I've been in the pound six times and I'm always the first to go. But I'm never loved enough to stay in my home. And that's pretty much the story of all of us here. If you aren't happy with your life, too bad!" The dog barked, glaring at me with evil eyes.
Every one else in the pound nodded, and I backed up into the corner. I've earned my place in here. I silently thought.
A rat looked at me and smiled.
"Hi, I'm Daisy. I guess I don't have a name now, but yeah! I'm Daisy!" She smiled. she sounded like the squeak I heard when the entire pound hushed.
"Daisy, don't! Talking to her is going to make you a fool!" A spider yelled, putting her legs in front of Daisy's mouth.
"Aw, no need Web! This dog's cool. Aren't you?" Daisy asked, grinning so wide I could see the slimy cheese puffs she nibbled on this morning stuff in her greasy yellow teeth that crooked every which way.
"Yes, I'm cool. My name is Zip, by the way. Zip..umm..." I looked down. 'Zip' was not a complete name, and it would just make me lame. Considering everyone here thought I was the lamest, selfish dog on Earth.
"Zip Lighting!" I yelled. I stood with my legs in the back of me, my head in the air, and my nose pointed so high into the air I almost carried myself off the cold white pound floor.
"Nice name." Web smirked. "Sounds like an owl named you." She said, laughing a bit.
"How..how did you know?" I asked. I was surprised anyone could find out that Owl, I mean Red, I mean Samantha had given me my name! My ears folded back and my paws shot out in the air as I tilted my head. An adorable confused look made me perfect.
"I'm a spider. I've been everywhere, I've done everything. I may have not seen you around, but now I have. Anyway, only owl's would ever name anyone 'Zip.' I know you just added the 'Lighting' part because you paused. Please." Web said, rolling her eyes and smiling. All the animals howled.
"Go Web! Go Web!" They cheered. Apparently she had been here a while, and she had a lot of knowledge. She seemed very popular, special and important. Unlike me, who was hated on by everyone here. Except Daisy. She seemed to like me. She also seemed to be Web's best friend.
The pound doors opened and millions of people rushed in. Short thing people, tall thick people, happy people, sad people, angry people. Some had long silky hair, others had short, curly, frizzy hair. They were all different, none looked the same. Of course they fought over pets, grabbing and running, screaming and shouting. A young lady walked up to my cage and took me, walking so no one noticed her. When she was caught with a 2012 rare pet, she dashed out the door as fast as possible. She had short, blonde hair pulled up into a messy bun. She had grey eyes that shone like silver bells on Christmas morning. She had thin rimed green glasses sliding on and off her nose.
She opened up the first cage she saw and tossed me in. It was "Pets without a group." I sighed.
"At least I'm in a home." I sighed, looking at the other animals here. fish with sparkly scales, guinea pigs with adorable ears, dragons with wings that stretched out into the air. I was a common, every day pet that could never grow up to be strong.
I crawled into a corner and sat down, I was nervous and lonely.
"Hey there!" I heard a familiar voice.
"Orange?!" I gasped, seeing one of Owl's old friends near by.
"Yes, it is I, Orange. Zip, how did you get here? What happened now? where's Red, Blue and Green? My favorite friends? Please, tell me you know!"
"Blue is in the pound..maybe in a new home. The others, well, I just don't know." I replied, shaking my head. "I'm glad where ever I go I have friends near by." I said, a large grin on my face. I laughed, but Orange just mumbled.
"You know, this is serious!" She yelped. "We need our family near us, not friends!"
I forgot that Orange was always a rude one, and she had to have everything go her way. She flapped her wings crying with sorrow, "This is terrible!"
I sat down and sighed.
"It's not the worst, you know. when I was adopted from the pound 3 years ago, back in January 2012, I was adopted by a busy girl. If none of her pets were OMG So Rare, she would get rid of them. She tossed me in the pound. I was adopted by a loving girl. She treated me like a princess, she loved me very much, until she was too old for me. Then I was given to creepy guy. Creepy guy left, and Blue and I were all alone. we got thrown into the pound. Now I'm here, with an owner that's too busy to notice me. You think your life's hard? I'm only three years old and I've been through plenty of homes and the pound twice! I can pretty much see my future! If you think you've been tossed around, then just live my life!" I howled.
Orange stared at me and started to cry. Her wings flapped and her beak trembled. The ocean of tears she saved out crashed up against her cheek. Every eye in my home landed on me. I heard some whispering, some pets saying I was rude and careless. I wasn't scared, or ashamed, no, I was tired. Tired of being thrown across Chicken Smoothie, never being able to find my home. Never living the best life there was.
Orange leaked out tears, screaming so loud our owner busted through the doors.
"Dumb owl..." She hushed Orange, then stared at me. An ugly smile crept across her face. "You'll make a great present for my little brother, Cauise." She laughed, grabbing a box and walking out.
I looked at Orange. "See what I mean?" I grumbled. I walked away from Orange and turned my back on her.
"No, I don't!" She yelled, brushing the dust off her feathers, turning her back on me. I heard some newborns giggle.
"What drama queens!" They laughed.
I blinked my eyes open. I scrambled up to my feet looking ahead.
What is that? I thought to myself, gently walking towards it. I ran into the cage wall, flying all the way back and landing on Orange.
"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" Orange squawked, Flying up after being alarmed. To my surprise, no one else here had heard her or checked to see what was going on.
"Orange, what's that?" I said, pointing to a glow out in the purple sky.
"That's a sunrise. Haven't you ever seen one before? You're three years old, and you've been through a lot!" Owl whined, then went back to bed.
"But...it's....it's amazing..it has such a radiant glow, such a burning flame, such an amazing act across a beautiful sky..it's a magical thing. I need to see it up close." I gasped, looking at it, my eyes watering with tears of joy. It was glorious!
"Well, I would like to see it with front row seats, too. But we're stuck here!" She said, making sure no one woke up.
I couldn't help it. A nice, orange and red blaze flying across a dim purple sky, lighting it up, making it look on fire, it was the best thing in the world. It was perfect. It was...my life. Free, but trapped at the same time. Living the same exact life cycle.
"I'M SEEING IT!" I growled, headbutting the cage, chewing on the locks, scratching the bars.
All of a sudden every single pet woke up. Each one rubbed their tiny red eyes, dragging their weak soft bodies up to see what all the commotion was about.
"What are you doing?!" A cat yelped.
"Shhh!" Some butterfly wolves hushed her, making sure our owned didn't see what I was doing.
"I'm breaking out, what does it look like?" I growled, kicking the cage.
My feet finally knocked the cage over. It landed on the floor with a loud, "THUD" followed by an obviousness clanging sound. I chewed on the lock until the cage opened up. The door swung up to my nose, then to the floor.
Squeak. Squeak. I could see rust on the edge of the cage. Suddenly, the door fell on the floor with a bang that made every pet growl, even the spiders and fish.
"Would you keep it down!" Hushed an owl, who was trying to nap. It was surprising she didn't care pets were breaking out and leaving.
"Okay, fine!" Orange snapped. "We'll just push a cage down, bust down the door, and run out silently so you can sleep!"
I had never seen Orange so grumpy. I wondered if she really wanted to escape, or she was upset about having to come with me.
"Whatever." The owl moaned, flapping her wings and dropping a feather down onto my head.
I shook it off and ran outside, sliding through the mud. Orange ran after me. When she came to the mud she lifted her wings.
"I'll get my feathers dusty another time." She told the mud.
I rolled my eyes, a smile crawling across my face like a spider crawling on it's web after a refreshing morning rain. It felt really good to be free.
I jumped up and down, racing faster and faster until I got to the lake. The closest we could get to the sunrise, unless Orange would fly me.
"What? you can't swim?" She asked.
"Nope." I sighed, shaking my head with a sad look rolling into my eyes like black clouds.
"Oh. Well, we'll just sit here, okay?" She asked.
"Yeah." I replied, resting my head on a dusty old stone. It was covered with a soggy lily pad tat has washed up on shore.
Orange and I sat there, carefully looking up as the sun blazed across the pink sky. It was fighting to get up there, to do it's best. To be free. With the sky, with nature, as it's home.
"I've...been doing it wrong." I whined, looking at the water. The small waves slowly and swiftly crashed against my sore, muddy paws.
"What do you mean?" Owl asked, dipping the tip of her feathers into the lake.
"All this time..I've wanted a home. One with a loving, caring owner. With millions of other pets." I said, my body froze up and my eyes blank. "I wanted to be a city pet."
"We all do." Orange said.
"But not anymore. I know why I never got a home as a city pet. It was destiny! Destiny was telling me that I'm not suppose to be a city pet! That's why I got tossed around!" My eyes filled up with tears.
"So..you're suppose to live in nature, not in a house?" Orange asked. It was obvious she was confused and had no idea what I was talking about.
I sighed. She was kind of ruining the dramatic moment.
"I wanted to be a city pet. But destiny wouldn't let me. Because I didn't need a city life. I needed a country life!" I howled, staring at the sun. It had finally climbed over the rocky, cold mountains and into the sky, where it belongs. The sky turned from a pinkish orange into a beautiful blue.
"It's destiny." I repeated.
"Destiny."
I don't remember anything after that. I had raced off into the water chasing geese, smiling at the sun. Orange fell in love with nature, and we lived a happy life out in the forest. I would watch the sunrise and fall, smiling at it's every move.
Because while humans may use the sun to keep the warm, I used it as destiny's call.
The sun is what told me the answer to all my problems. The sun is what gave me all my power. The sun is what told me how to live my life.
When things were down, I was about to be given away again, I finally escaped all the tangles.
No, very rare pets don't dissapear because of "hoarders". They dissapear because at their age, they want to live on natures side.
As for Owl, or Red, Or Samantha, well, she lived a happy life with her new girl for many, many years. She ended up giving her account to her daughter, who loved the guts out of Samantha.
And my siblings? They're all together, cozy and warm, in a home far away. They are treated well and loved, cared for, and they can always smile and thank me for that.
While people think Chicken Smoothie is just a "game" or a "site", to the pets it's more. Much more. Even more to me. Because Chicken Smoothie is where I was born, and where I lived. It brought tears to my eyes, anger to my soul, and joy to my heart. Yes, I belong here. And thanks to the sun, or destiny, I will be able to live in peace. The best part is, I will always be a puppy.
I'm pretty sure no pet out there can replace me, Zip Lighting.

The End

Re: I'm a Chicken Smoothie Pet, Hopeful and Proud

Postby Qutting Cs. T.T » Wed Dec 21, 2011 2:10 pm

Thanks! I got the idea when I almost traded away one of my pound pets and got that letter.

And I love story writing, I want to be an author some day!

Pretty good, though the grammatical errors make it slightly hard to read. I'm awaiting new chapters.

With some study and practice, you could be a great writer.
