sorry for the long wait. my shoulder is better now seeing as I havn't done any demanding excercise in a while. here's a new 'action-packed' entry from Rocky for Valentines!!
Happy Valentines everybody!!!!Dear RJ
This new dog stared at me like I was an alien, or an undead. Which - in her view - I was.
"But...you were...dead..." she whispered.
"Yes. We've established that." I said, forging on ahead.
"The question is, who are you? And what are we going here?"The girl simply smiled.
"...As Caspian said. You're needed elsewhere." she said mysteriously.
I sighed, and Sirius growled behind me.
"That isn't answering my question. Who. Are. You?" I said clearly.
"My name's Lexi." she said.
"No. What's your actual name." I said impatiently. I was getting tired of all this mystery. I just wanted to find my sister and bring her home. The girl sensed my impatience and grinned.
"Fine then. My name's Kay." she turned to Sirius.
"You know. You're girlfriend is smart, not trusting anybody. But how, if she doesn't trust me, how did she come by to trust you?"Her words were carefully structured, not giving anything away, but placing seeds of doubt in the necessary places. I also turned to face Sirius.
"Sirius? What does she mean?" I asked him. He shifted his weight, uncomfortable. I sensed the air move behind me. Caspian had come back to watch the show. Kay was watching intently, smiling slightly. Even Hazel was watching, holding Peppi in her hands, stroking her head. I saw Peppi's tail flick, meaning she was alive. In normal circumstances, I would have been pleased, but I was to busy to feel anything other than doubt and curiosity.
"Nothing. She's lying. She's the captor, I'm a prisoner. Like you." he went to kiss my cheek, but I pulled away.
"Are you sure about that Sirius?" Kay asked, raising an eyebrow. She leant against the doorframe, looking at Sirius wearing an unreadable expression.
I looked back between them both, no idea what was happening.
I was so confused. Now I wish I'd never decided to go after Summer. It was a stupid idea. She always comes back. But everything that happened is my fault. I just wish I could turn back the clock to that moment and change everything. But I know I can't.
It's all my fault.
