[The last whisper]

Goodbye again
I’m sure will come the day
That we do say goodbye
And then we will know
You took the coward’s way

Children don’t forget
They will learn and see
Their minds will be forever corrupt
With the horrid memory

Selfish acts
Forever take hold
Leaving destruction
On young and old

Mind, soul, and body
Such a waste
A coward’s actions
Set to pace

I’m not the messenger
Only one left behind
To clean up the mess
So you’ll still shine

For it is in their eyes
That I worry
For it in their eyes
That I see
Unconditional love
That must stay with thee

Not for you
Only for them
They are the angels
I cherish to the end!

Lonely life
Lonely on the land I walk,
Lonely cross the sea I sail,
Lonely air of beach I stroll –
This lonely life doth take its toll.

Lonely trek of woodland trail,
Lonely mist in haze o’ dawn,
Lonely spies the bird of prey
In lonely circles all astray.

Lonely be the dark of night
When sleep is but a yearning wish,
To dream of sweet companions close,
As wine would pair with diner's dish.

Lonely do these thoughts me make
That draw my blood of precious life;
Replace with stream of flowing pain
To bless my veins with coursing strife.

Lonely years are now my friends,
Lonely cries bereft of sound,
Lonely tears that cool my face
In lonely life of sullen pace

Alone
Tears of water,
Streaming down my face,
Showing of blood,
Getting rid of the pain.

Yearning for your voice,
And wanting your touch,
Knowing that asking for that,
Is asking for to much.

Tissue after tissue,
Sniffle after sniffle,
Grinding my teeth,
Why can’t it be simple?

Afraid of death,
But hating life,
A never ending pain,
Let it go with a knife.

Trying to be someone else,
Trying to scratch off my skin,
Trying to die,
And lose what’s with in.

Fooling myself,
Saying it’s Ok,
Well knowing,
It really doesn’t matter what I say.

Being displeased with the world and myself,
Being ignored when screaming for help.

I love you, and need you,
But you just turned, thinking I’d be ok,
But you knew all along it would burn.

Screaming into pillows,
Until my throat’s on fire,
I know I’m not someone thats desired.

So think this everynight,
Well I cry myself to sleep,
Knowing the next day,
It will all happen again.

Forever alone
As I lay silently in bed
Your familiar words run through my head
But they're not familiar in a way you'd think
They put me to the edge, I'm on the brink

Your voice sends the chills directly down my spine
It repeats to bring the crystal tears to my eyes
I hear the words "baby, what's wrong?"
Tumbling into a breakdown because you're gone

You're pushing me out slowly but sure
I'm fighting to hold my place, but I'm not wanted anymore
Never thought beauty would be coming from pain
But depression is running in the blood of my veins

When you look at me, I want to cry
Plain and simple, but I stare back and lie
Asking if I'm alright, when my body has turned to lead
I'm so messed up inside, I'm close to almost dead

I'm broken and bruised, I guess you could say
This being the only thing that just won't go my way
Could swear I'm in love, but it beats to the bone
Knowing without you, I'm forever alone

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to Heaven
To bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say goodbye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know
