The Energy Fighters (Want critique aswell!)

A story about a young high schooler with powers living a life of trying to hide the difference then eventually finding his reasoning. Please critique!

Chapter 1:

My hands began the same radiating power as last time,i have no idea what its about. I am basically an orphan but i'm only 2 months past the date to live in a cruddy wooden shack with Mr.Fluffles and Grapejuice. The funny thing is,there cats. I began wearing gloves to cover my hands because wouldn't you be weirded out if you saw a 17 year old with blue glowing hands?
Anways I had to get to school,honestly I wish my scooter wasn't crushed by some dumb drunk in an escalade but with my luck,im not suprised. My feet felt like concrete was molded on to it and every step felt like I was hulk. I kept going on despite this and eventually made it to the big school. Its size wasn't the only thing,it stunk like Mr.Biggs tuna sandwhiches through the senior's hall. I opened the wooden doors and walked through the freshman hall which was connected to the seniors. I took a turn with my head down and bumped into X. I fell hard to the tile and looked up. " Need some help,loser?" X laughed at me and walked on. I muttered under my breath and scrambled to pick my books up and get them in my bags. Just my luck,the bell rang. I got the last book inside the bag and ran to my 1st period. Exhausted and embaressed i barely made it into the class. The downside is that its Mr.Biggs classroom,the smell of tuna wreeks worse when he just made it. Everybody was covering there nose,and i think Mr.Biggs purposely has it laying out on his desk like a grey goop watching at us and laughing at our sick stoumachs. I looked at my hand,I didn't think it was glowing anymore.
I decided to take my glove off and ofcourse it was still glowing blue,my friend Jax looked over and saw my hand,i quickly scrambled to get the glove on. Great,i got it on but now my only friend in this place is staring at me like that little emoticon with the zero and the o.
He whispered over to me " B,is that what I thought it was or have I been around to many drunks?".I acted like I had no clue and replied " What?". He shook his head and turned around but every 5 minutes he would glance over at my hand. After a gruesome hour of the smell of the canned tuna and Jax having a seizure turning around every minute to check my hand,it was time for 2nd period ofcourse it was english class with Ms. Dungbell. Yeah,her name relates to poop,atleast she doesn't cause everyone going to lunch to pass and puke in the bathrooms. You do realize the lines go further than the lines on pizza day. Then staring over my shoulder was that creepy goth guy,Kasey or something. I do have to say,he is my friend aswell,if you count a lifeless guy who will do anything to see marilyn manson perform live as a friend. Sometimes my so called 'friends' make me afraid of my social skills. Another 4 hours passed and now i'am going home. I had to walk out the wooden doors and back home to my 20 year old bro who is the only one who knows I have blue glowing hands. To my relief he thinks I have a gift,im just glad he doesnt tell everyone or we would have the feds knocking at our door at 6:00 while i'm trying to watch family guy. Well next day is brand new,lets see how that goes.
