Shadowfall's Betrayl

Prolouge

Shadowfall slept in the warriors den.Her tail flicked as she slept in her moss nest,she was made a warrior about 7 moons ago.Soon she blinked open her eyes and looked around the den,she noticed everyone was gone so she got up and left the den.She padded out of the den and looked around the camp.She padded towards the fresh kill pile and took a rabbit from it,she laid down with it in her paws then sunk her teeth into it.She pulled off the fur then dug her muzzle into the flesh of the rabbit and started to gulp it down.She noticed Sandpaw and Dustpaw come up from behind her and dipped there heads"Good morning Shadowfall"they said.Shadowfall smiled and nodded
"Good morning,how is your guy's training?" she asked the apprentices.Dustpaw was the first to answer
"My training is going great!"he said"Last night Redtail promised he would take me hunting."he said smiling.Shadowfall nodded then looked at Sandpaw
"How about you Sandpaw?How is your training?"
"Good" the pale ginger she-cat responded"I might ask Whitestorm if we can go with Redtail and Dustpaw later."she said smiling.Dustpaw nodded in agreement
"Great idea!"he said"But now we just have to find our mentors.Lets go!"he said bounding off.Sandpaw nodded
"See ya later Shadowfall!"the she-cat called before bounding away.Shadowfall smiled then sunk her teeth back into the rabbit and licked her muzzle.She sniffed the air and smelled something...different.She finished her rabbit and looked around,their was no invaders so why the strange smell?Then she heard Bluestar call for a clan meeting.Shadowfall scowled then walked towards the highrock.She looked up at the leader and heard her speak
"Thunderclan needs more warriors,Never before have we had so few cats in training.It has been decided that Thunderclan will take in an outsider to train as a warrior."
I turned my head and looked at Longtail who sat next to me,he was scowling and starred at Bluestar with disapproving eyes.I looked back up at Bluestar as she continued to speak
"I have found a cat who is willing to become a apprentice"she said.Longtail got up and scowled" LUCKY to become a apprentice!"he said.She didn't pay attention to Bluestar after that,she just starred at the flame colored tom and scowled.Soon all the cats were talking about his scent and where he came from.That's when she noticed the blue on his neck,I scowled then nudged Longtail
"Longtail look..."I said"He is a kittypet."She scowled.Longtail looked then rose back up again
"Look at his collar!He is a kittypet!Once a kittypet always a kittypet...besides this clan need wild born warriors!Not another soft mouth to feed."he scowled.Shadowfall smirked and nodded,she had to agree...kittypets were not made to become warriors.She listened to Longtail talk about how his collar will make him a poor hunter and how the twolegs will come to find there poor lost kittypet.She noticed her past mentor Lionheart,who was know the mentor of Greypaw,say something to the kitty-pet.Then before ya know it the kittypet leaped at Longtail pinned him down and bit down on him.Longtail got up quickly then circled the kittypet.Then Longtail leaped and clamped his jaw on to his collar and started to tug,Shadowfall had a feeling that the kittypet would loose so a smile spread across her muzzle.Then the collar snapped and broke,Longtail was just about to leap at him again with Bluestar jumped off the highrcok stopping the fight
"Stop!"She said"Starclan has spoken it's approval.This cat is no longer under the hold of it's twoleg owners and is free to join Thunderclan."the she-cat said before standing next to the flame colored tom"This cat will be named Firepaw after is flame colored pelt."she said.Shadowfall scowled then looked away
'A kittypet in the clan will make the clan weak'she thought.She dug her claws into the ground then narrowed her eyes at the kittypet before turning away and walking back to the warriors den.
