In a village called willoby a festival is taking place. the gypsies have come back. due to a killing sickness that spreads like wildfire they have left thier normal traveling routes and settled in alexia's village until its safe to move again. Alexia is a 14 year old girl who happens to have a set of strange features including one small birdlike wing and a lack of fear.No body goes into the nearby forest,its haunted by the souls of wolves from a pack that was exterminated when the first settlers came.But alexia loves the forest and the villigers are wary but amused by her quirks.secretly she befriends a strangely intelligent wolf. Kagari is his name and he is the leader of the few wolves that still live there.You could say he is the prince of that forest.kagari has a human form but hides it from alex as he is afraid it'll make her distrust him.not all the wolves he leads have a human form ,only a handful of his relatives. his sister flora and his aunt for example. and only if they are leaders in some way.
alexia's village is part of a kingdom ruled by angels. the angels were sent there to guide the people,and they've done a great job,the area is peaceful but the killing sickness has no cure. the angel king froilyn has a dream that a unusual child will find the cure for the sickness. ANd in the dream his only child is sick. so he sets up a bounty for unusual children.He thinks if he has all the unusual children with him,he will be able to find the cure before it is too late for his child,so he keeps them near.a trapper catches alex and tried to take her to the king,everyone has assumed that the king is keeping them locked up or is killing them.Alexia fearing her death at the hands of the king,escapes and befriends a angel named Aydn (while shes trying to find her way home)who ranks high in the noblemen but isnt quite in a position of power. he introduces her to daniel and rikel his best friends. Kagari the wolf is searching for her,he loves alex but she still doesn't know. long story shortened, rikel is jelous of alex because aydn likes her.. rikel is betrothed to aydn. Daniel couldnt care less.Kagari has a brother *Delune* both kagari and his brother are black wolves. kagari has yellow eyes but his brother has a deep red color. kagari's brother is insane.smart but insane and he wants to be leader,he also hates Alex because she could make kagari happy and be the female leader of the wolves. he decides the best way to hurt kagari is to take out Alex. So he teams up with rikel and try to take alex down.Alex is the strange child who knows the cure from a dream and the king asks her to find it for his sick daughter and for all the people who are sick.she and kagari go out in search of the plant but rikel and Delune follow intent on destroying her and taking the credit for the cure.will Alex be able to find a happy ending? Or will Delune and Rikel succeed in their plan for glory?
