Mason and Scarlet walked across the road happily, theres hands entwined... They were the perfect couple, forever smiling "i never want this to end" Scarlet whispered as she gently squeezed his hand. Mason smiled down at her and kissed the top of her head "neither do i...Not even death can do us part... I promise this and i would if it was the last thing i ever said... I promise, nothing will ever keep us apart... or ever break us up" he said sincerely as he ran his spare hand through her hair... Upon reaching the middle of the road Mason quickly let go of Scarlet's hand and shoved her forward... There was suddenly a terrifying noise as a large white van swerved through the red lights, and the last thing Scarlet saw was the truck colliding with Mason's crouched body... Before she passed out with shock
3 Months Later...
Scarlet sat on the old grey sofa in her almost empty living room, tears speckled her pale cheeks as she remembered him... He was the love of her life, and he was taken away from her so suddenly... His death still seemed so unreal, even though it had occured over 3 months ago...
Scarlet slowly got to her feet and sighed as she shuffled across the cold, hard wooden flooring toward the kitchen. Her hair was greasy, dull and was hanging limply by her shoulders, her clothes were in tatters and her skin was pale and cold... She looked ill and everyone who came into contact with her instantly knew she was the girl who had just lost her soulmate...
When she got to the kitchen Scarlet lifted herself into the kitchen chair and leant her head in her hands, letting yet more stingy tears roll down her cheeks... She closed her eyes and sighed softly, the last time she had been in the kitchen was with Mason... She continued crying, this time heavier... Sobbing Mason's name uncontrollably. Suddnely she felt a cold hand against her cheek and a soft voice echoed around the room "Scarlet... why do you cry so much over my death... im seriously not worth that much"... Scarlet's eyes shot open and she gasped to see someone who looked identical to Mason apart from having pure white hair and large angel wings; standing on the other side of the kitchenette bar.
"What kinda sick joke is this???" Scarlet yelled angrily, her teary eyes turning into dark pits of anger as she leapt from her seat and stormed around to the other side of the kitchenette. She stood infront of the guy who was calling himself Mason and growled under her breath in anger "Do you get your kicks outta impersonating dead people or something" she spat at him.
Mason gulped, tears coming to his eyes and rolling down his cheeks "im... so sorry..." he whispered, stepping back as he shook his head. He looked at her "I knew you'd be over me already... I'll leave..." he murmered, running his hand through his white hair and looking at her with a deep, sincere sigh before he turned and begun to leave. He looked back at Scarlet quickly and sighed before walking out of her back door in tears, "she hates me..." he whimpered after leaping over her garden fence and collapsing to the floor on the other side. He was sobbing his heart out, soft trembles racking through his slightly muscled frame...
Scarlet growled and slammed the door shut "good riddance!" she yelled after him. She sat down on the kitchen chair and sighed, she then spotted something in the middle of the kitchen floor, and upon closer examination she noticed it was the other half of the necklace set her and Mason had... She gasped, that guy was either a grave digger or he was telling the truth... Mason had been buried with his half of the necklace... She ran to the kitchen door and opened it, running into the garden with wide eyes "Mason!" she called, tears filling her eyes, it was probably the last chance she was going to ever get to see him and she'd sent him away like he was some dirty stray...
