prologe- a little about me

Well my name is Cara Jones and I am 16. I go to school like a normal teenager but I am not normal I can see the future. A secret I have to hide from all of my class and friends. There are only two people that know Matt (my best friend for years) and me. I live with my dad but he does not know about my secret. I know I should tell him but I can’t if you were to meet him you would understand. He thinks I am perfect and says I can tell him everything but this I can’t it is too complicated. Anyway I have long blonde hair and I am 5”6’. I don’t have a boyfriend. I might someday. And this is the story of my life.

Chapter 1

I woke up at 7am this morning and sat down for breakfast with my dad. He asked me about something but I was not paying attrition I hate his speeches they were always about try harder do your best or about how I can tell him anything I hate that. I left and headed for school and saw Matt. I always walk to school with him. I stopped were I was and Matt waited. I smiled at him a bit later.
He smiled back “what is it?” he asked
“You are going to do really well on the math final” I answered
“Yes!” he said smiling “I love having a psychic friend”
I smiled “good”
“So does your dad know?” Matt asked
“No” I said back
“Cara! You need to tell him!”
“I know but he will think I am crazy!”
“So I am the only one that knows?”
“Yes” Cara said “and you can’t tell anyone”
“Ok I won’t I promise” Matt said
“Good” we walked to school we departed and I went to class.
The popular girls in school walked over to me and threw a dictionary on my desk “here learn” she said and she laughed with the rest of her group
I rolled my eyes “thanks now I can be smart”
The girls left because they did not get the reaction they wanted and at lunch their leader Myrna came over and dumped her drink in my hair and laughed with the rest of the wannabes.
I smiled angrily and went to the hall and Matt fallowed “sorry about my girlfriend”
“Your girl friend?!?!?” I asked in a yell sort of fashion
“Ya she is great” Matt said
I sighed and ran to the girls room the whole time thinking man this is bad really bad. Other than that today was a pretty good day I have to go wash my hair.

Chapter 2

Ok I cannot stop thinking about Matt and Myrna. How could he do this! I know it’s not his fault he fell in love but it is not fair! Why does it have to be her! Anyway I was walking with Matt when I stopped and saw what I thought was the weirdest thing ever when it was over I took off running I had to save a life now.
Matt ran after me yelling “what’s wrong?”
“No time” I said between breaths. I got to the place where it would happen and waited then a car started coming and Myrna crossing the street so I ran and pushed her out of the way. And of Corse she fell into a mud pile.
“What is wrong with you!?!?!?” she said standing up
“That car almost hit you” I said
“I can take care of myself and you trashed my new dress from Paris!” Myrna said
“I thought your life was more important than a dress” I said back
Matt finally caught up “what happened?”
“Myrna almost got hit by a car so I pushed her out of the way and she landed in a pile of mud” I said
“well at least your both ok” Matt said and he kissed her and she kissed him back so I walked to school the rest of the way by myself. And at lunch Matt sat with Myrna and the wannabes so I was all alone but of corse I had another vision Myrna was talking to the wannabes about how she is only going out with Matt to hurt our friendship. Now I must decide should I tell him?

Chapter 3

Ok so I was walking to school and I told Matt that his girlfriend was using him and he did not believe me!
He said “in order for me to believe you Cara you have to tell your dad then I will know that you really mean what you are telling me.”
So I replied “fine I will!” So now I have to tell my dad I can see the future. I have no idea how I am going to do that! So anyway I went to school after Matt left me to walk with Myrna and Myrna gave me a mean look that said ‘never talk to Matt again’. I sighed and went to class. Matt has first period with me and always sits next to me but not today I felt so alone. No one understands what I have to go through. Then of Corse guess who came up to me after class Myrna. She said if I ever talk to Matt again I would be sorry. What does that even mean? Well I have decided not to risk it I will just find another best friend. So by second period I was looking for a new friend. And today I failed I could not find one anywhere so I give up for today. Now do I tell my dad about the physic abilities?
