Chapter 3: In which Heilix gets pwned....

Where they landed next Maya had no idea. But it was dark, and cold. She let off a small shiver and turned to Heilix.
“Where are we?!” she demanded through clenched teeth.
“Okay we are either” he licked his finger and stuck it up “I think we’re somewhere in Alaska or Canada” he stated looking around.
Mig tugged on her brothers sleeve he bent down and she whispered in his ear “Why did the porting man take us to Alaska?” she asked. Gale shook his head.
“Heilix! Your such a dumb-” Maya stopped short realizing they now had a little girl in there presence but Mig finished for her.
“Heilix your such a dumbass!” she said stomping her foot down.
Heilix stared at her surprised “Um how old are you again?” he asked.
“12” she responded glaring at him.
“Oh in that case your-” Maya slapped him on his head to keep him from saying anything else.
“Shut up!” she hissed.
“What she probably already knows what I’m going to say, after all I learned all those words my first day of middle school. Mig glared at him “I’m in the seventh grade” she smarted.
“Ohhh” Heilix pretended to be scared “A 12 year old seventh grader”.
Mig clenched her small fists and scoffed “And you’re a 17 year old who fails most of his classes” she spat at him.
Heilix immediately straightened up “Excuse me! I’ve never been accused to such blaspheme” he stopped when he saw Maya and Gale glaring at him “…that’s never been so true” he slumped his shoulders and stared at the ground.
“And um where did you find this guy?” Gale whispered as Heilix started to rock back and forth Maya scoffed “I don’t even know sometimes”.
Heilix suddenly jumped up “Wait!” he yelled pointing a finger at Mig “How did you know!?” he demanded starring down at her. She put her hands on her hips and looked to the side.
“The voices told me you did” she said.
“What are you a schizophrenic?” he crossed his arms in response.
Mig opened one eye and grabbed him flipping him over her shoulder and he landed on his back with a thud “I’m a mind reader you idiot” she insulted.
“Mind reader… Heilix winced “Got it…”. Maya and Gale exchanged glances as Mig stepped on Heilix and jumped off and walked up to Gale taking his hand.
“Heilix quit screwing around, we need to get going” she said.
“I need time to recharge, if we HAD FOOD, we’d be out of here a lot quicker” he stated leaning up against a tree; putting his hands behind his head. Maya scowled at him “Then you go get food. Take Gale, I’ll watch Mig” she snapped at him.
“I don’t wanna though” Heilix complained.
“That wasn’t a suggestion. You’re also sitting on an ant pile” Maya said darkly. Heilix scrambled to his feet shaking off, nothing.
“You Liar!” he yelled.
“Yes I did, you really have a spider on your back” she said simply, Heilix squirmed and a small spider fell off his shirt. He stared at it “You lied again” he said.
“Go get food” Maya said throwing a stick at him.
Heilix ducked and obeyed, Gale sighed his expression showing how much will power he had not to punch Heilix.
