I'm different,
I'm unique,
I'm loyal
I'm neat,
That's what I'm told,
From all my friends,
that are always beside me until the end,
They like me,
They love me,
They want me,

I've revisited that Mirror thing... but still no inspiration.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall
This is how the mighty fall
Break and take
And hate and hide
Why weren't you
On his side?

Into the deep black
Of eternity.
Castles of black marble
Spires rising against the grey sky
This is the final frontier
The Palace of Death.

I got insparation from "The Shadow Thieves", by Anne Ursu, when Charlotte goes into the Underworld and first sees the Palace of Hades. About those earlier comments, I could do a lot better poetry if I had the time; I was rushing. Compare them to my other poems.

This is how the mighty fall

Win some, lose some
He's never lost
Eyes like ice and
Heart like frost
Stare too long and
You'll get lost

If dark's his friend
Then light's his love
Hands in the fire
Don't need black gloves
Eyes in the night
Aren't innocent of

Needs to win
So cheat the hand
It's just that way
He's made a plan
Always had no friend
He's met an end

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
His life was his
But he left at dusk
