THE NOCTES BASE.
The Noctes Daemones base is at the edge of the city, just before the forest that lays beyond. They take residence in a high-class casino, which comes with a series of hotel and apartment rooms on the top levels, and a horse racing track that the people can view from many of the back rooms. There is a secret, underground casino that was used for the gang that had owned the casino. This basement is now used for meetings, especially ones for high-ranking officials speaking on private matters.
⠀⠀⠀Outside, there is the racetrack, which is a large track used to exercise the horses or even do occasional races in which the whole group places bets and votes on the winner. There is a fenced in area inside the track that used for grazing for the horses or other livestock, in addition to the pastures near the stables.

♛ COMMANDER — They lead the group, creating the rules and organizing the ranks of those
beneath them. There is only one at a time, though they get help from the council and adjutant.

♛ ADJUTANT — The adjutant is the advisor of the commander, and works as a deputy to the
commander. They enforce laws, and are specifically chosen by the commander to serve them.

♛ MEDIC — The medic is the healer of the gang, with extensive knowledge on medicine in ad
dition to diseases & the treatment of injuries. There can be multiple medics within the group.

♛ WAR GENERAL — The war general works aside the commander in plans of fighting, and ar
e in charge of combatants & sentries. There can be a maximum of two generals at one time.

♛ COUNSELLORS — The counsellors are multiple elected individuals, chosen by the group to
work as mediators and assistants to the commander, giving them and the group wise advice.

♛ ELITE GUARD — The elite guard are a feared group of fighters that protect high-ranking p
eople, working as a unit & doing so very efficiently. The guards are highly trained in fighting.

♛ COMBATANTS — Combatants are the bulk of the group. They are the protectors of the gr
oup and work together to defend the group. They go on patrols, scavenging parties & hunts.

♛ SENTRIES — Sentries are slightly lower in rank that the combatants, although they perfor
m the same duties. Sentries are often demoted people or those who have recently joined.

♛ CRAFTSMEN — Craftsmen are those who have skillsets in crafting and creating, and they o
ften work as blacksmiths, developing weaponry & other useful items for Noctes Daemones.

The people of Nocte Daemones are seen as a fearsome group known to be incredibly ruthless
and cruel. The name of the group translates to night of the demon, and this isn't for no reas
on, so be warned. They are cutthroat, merciless and more than willing to get rid of their en
emies, or any weaklings within their group. Nocte only accepts those who are willing to kill
for the gang, and they are branded with a burning hot branding iron, forging in the sign of n
octe, a joker card with a jester in the centre. The sign is very fitting, as they are seen as j
okers, always causing chaos, manipulating and deceiving others to get their way, happy to
simply watch the world burn.
