Lillyanna sat on a rock and sighed.
After finding her old male Quail was dead Lillyanna wasn’t very happy.
The wild birds were singing in the trees and Lillyanna sighed again, not in anger or grief this time, but for relief for the silence.
She had just fished a book out of her bag when a movement caught her eye.
Puzzled she looked up. A large brown bird was swooping out of the sky.
“‘Sup?” the bird asked. Lillyanna explained about her dead Quail. The bird cocked it’s head with a puzzled look on his face.
“Oh, right, you’re Lillyanna. Hi I’m Fredrick.”
“Erm, hi- Fredrick? Um no offense but what are you, actually?” Lillyanna asked
Fredrick whistled “Why I’m a Falcon of course! But now, about this missing bird of yours, how would you like to own a live native Falcon?” Fredrick The Falcon asked shrinking to normal size.
