I keep walking, feeling the cave start to slope upward beneath my feet, the caves getting warmer as well. I didn't know why, but the warm air freaked me out more then the colder air below. I reached a chamber, a stone throne on the far wall, the cold stone draped in silks of orange and white. Torches flickered along the wall, though no one was in the room. I crept slowly through the room, feeling like something was going to jump out and attack me if I made a noise louder then sneaking footfalls. As I get towards the doorway into the next hall, I dart into the hall, a bad feeling that something was in that room, even if I couldn't see it. The hallway seems to shrink around me, claustrophobia sinking in. I had to leave this maze of caves as soon as I could, my missing memory the second thing on my list of priorities, just under escaping. The cave walls here seemed to have a odd sheen, and as I reached out to touch the glimmering walls my paw sank through water, thin, sparkling waterfalls cascading down the walls to create the sparkling illusion.
"Odd..." I whispered out loud, shaking water drops off my paws. I had to crawl through the tunnel now, not seeing the iron grate into I bumped right into it. I sat down, getting ready to rip the grate off.
Flashback 2

We stood, swords and spears ready for battle, thick armor protecting us from the sharpest of swords. Golden helms rested over face, shimmering in the dazzling sunlight. Apollo, our leader, stood stoic, preparing us for the battle ahead. He was always a funny viscet, a great warrior but also an amazing friend. The clouds below our feet shifted, telling of our time to fly in and begin the fight.
"We can win this. You are all some of the best warriors and friends I've ever know." He clapped me on the shoulder, "You Reeya, you're like a brother." We prepared our weapons, it was time to fight. We went to battle. I'd fought many battles before in my life, even fighting the same types of demons as these, but this was harder, other viscets being knocked unconscious in the battlefield and worse everywhere, the demons swarming like weaponized insects. One ran up behind me, my spear thrust at in a second too late. A shield to the face, and I was falling into inky blackness.
