Aynor stood on a balcony looking out over the city, Azur had given him his own room within the castle with a view of the city.
“ Lovely view, isn't it?” A voice came from behind him and he turned to see his Cousin King Azur.
“ Hello Azur… Yes, it is a lovely view.” He replied back, sighing softly. “ Is something wrong, Aynor?” Azur asked coming to stand by his cousin.
“ It’s nothing… just... How can you just forgive me? after everything I did?” He asked, looking into the eyes of Azur. “ Because you're family, it’s what family does; we forgive. “ He said slowly.
“ I found something I think you would like to have,” Azur remarked suddenly, shifting the subject and pulling a sheath with some sort of sword in it from his side and handed it to Aynor. “ This was your Father's sword, Terakta found it and we want you to have it,” He said smiling softly as Aynor took the sheath in his paws and stared down at the handle of the sword, it held the Goldenclaw Knights Crest, with the leather strapping handle adorning a dark blue with gold tassels hanging from handguard which was a rose gold color.
Drawing the blade from within its sheath, he marveled at how it shone in the sunlight, soon his eyes fell to the carvings on the blade itself. He pondered the intricate carvings for a moment, his Father had once told him about his sword as a boy, and what the ruins meant.
The runes carved into the blade when translated, would mean Courage.
“ Thank you Azur, This means a lot to me,” He said wiping a few tears from his amber eyes. Now he had something to remember his father buy, just as he had the stuffed toy his mother had made him remember her by.
“ I knew you would want it. Remember Aynor, You are the Son of Valor, The son of Courage, When I look at you I see him. I see the same strength and courageousness that your father had, in you. You just have to remember Who you are and you will never be alone again. Because you Father Lives in you, just as he does for many of us. His memory will always live strong in all of us.” Azur said looking out over the City. Aynor looked back at him, “ and in you, I see your father, a wise and just King who cares deeply about his people. “ He replied, “ I wish I had known him better than I did. “ He sighed softly as he stood by Azur’s side. “ Thank you Aynor, I just hope that I can live up to the standards that my Father held,” Azur replied. “ I’m sure you will Azur, you are a great leader. You always have been.” Aynor responded, putting a paw on Azur’s shoulder.
The Grand Ball
Decorations hung from the banisters, windows, and rafters. Extravagant tables decorated with flowers and candles held many types of fruits and other small snacks. To one side of the room, it had been cleared and had a few Viscets dancing to the soft music that played from the Band. Everything seemed perfect, everyone was happy and with family and friends. But with Azur busy doing his kingly duties, that didn't seem to slow down even for the Ball. Aynor sighed softly leaning against one of the marble pillars that lined the center of the room. Vyx looked at the large blue Viscet who looked quite handsome in the outfit he had chosen for the Ball. She walked over to him. “ Want to Dance?” She asked him holding out a paw for him to take. Aynor blinks at her shocked at the request but he smiled and took her paw “ Sure, I would love to” He said as she leads her to the dance floor where she rested her other paw against his chest, being he was taller than her and she couldn't reach his shoulder.
Aynor looked down at the soft purple Viscet that he had once held prisoner. How could she just want to dance with him after everything. He looked at the small scars on her muzzle that he had caused. “ Does your nose ever hurt?” He asked her out of curiosity “ Huh? Oh.. that, no it don't” she said shaking her head slightly so the pale blue veil lay over the scars. Aynor looked at her before looking her in the eyes, the beautiful pools of blue that shimmer like the stars. His heart skipped a beat, he had never really thought about how beautiful she was. “ Aynor? Are you alright?” She asked him snapping him out of his thoughts “ Y-yeah I'm alright” He said
“Are you sure? Your heart to pounding like a drum, do you need to sit down?” Vyx asked clearly concerned over him. Aynor sighed and rested his paw under her chin “ Don't be, I.. Just have never noticed how beautiful your eyes are” He said to her in a very nervous tone of voice “ Well your eyes are quite handsome ya know” She replied softly. Aynor smiled back at her his Amber eyes shining softly “ that's very nice to hear coming from you Vyx” He said rubbing his neck slightly “ Will...will you be mine?” He asked her. Vyx blinked at him in shock at the question, but then she smiled softly at him “ Of cores” She replied
Scouting with Terakta
((Overcoming a fear isn't easy, but with a friends help its not as hard))
“Come Aynor, you're joining me on this scouting mission,” Terakta said nudging Aynor awake early one morning. “Scouting mission? For what?” Aynor asked with a yawn. As he got up he stretched and ran his claws through his mane. “ Because we have to check our borders,” Terakta replied simply “Didn't Azur expand our borders recently?” He asked “ Yes, he did, we now own part of Heatherstone woods” Terakta replied as he picked up a leather sack and pulled it over his shoulders “ Get anything you need and meet me outside “ With that said the Pastel colored Viscet left the barracks. Aynor picked up his own bag that held a few things, his Diary and the stuffed toy his mother made him. Picking up his sword he pulled it on his back as well before following Terakta outside. “Are you ready?” The Goldenclaw leader asked turning to look at the large sapphire colored Viscet. “ Yes, I am” Aynor replied with a soft nod of the head “ Very well, Let's go” Terakta replied.
The older pastel Viscet lead Aynor out of the town and headed down towards the farms were they grew fruits and nuts, and even harvested fish from the river and lake that their farms surrounded. “ So why do we do this?” Aynor asked walking alongside Terakta “ Well For one, it's to see if the other Cet’s that live outside the city need anything. But it’s also to check for Wild Animals that could harm us in any way.” He said looking at Aynor for a moment before turning to watch where he was going. He leads Aynor down alongside the river and once they got to a shallow part he walked across and turned looking back at Aynor, who hesitated by the water, staring at it “ Aynor, your fine. It’s not deep enough for you to fall in” Terakta said shaking his head slightly. Aynor sighed softly and stepped into the shallow water, just fur stood on end as he did so and he pulled back. “ I.. Can't,” He said with a soft whimper
Aynor, you Can. Just try again.” Terakta said as he patiently tried to help Aynor overcome his fear. The large blue Viscet took a deep breath and stepped forward, placing his left foot into the cool water, feeling the gentle movement. He slowly moved his over to step ahead of the other, feeling the small pebbles move slightly under his weight. Causing him to flinch slightly. “ That's it Aynor, you're doing good, just a few more steps,” Terakta said to encourage the younger Viscet.
Aynor took slow steps and soon was on the other side of the river. “ Very good Aynor, See. You can face your fears if you just try” the pastel Viscet Said putting a paw on Aynor’s shoulder “ Come, we need to keep going.” He said turning and began walking. Aynor looked back at the water and then headed to follow Terakta. The Duo traveled along the edges of the farms were large beautiful fruit trees grew. One of the farmers walked up to them “Hello Terakta, Aynor… How are you two doing today? “ She asked them “ I am doing very well, “ Terakta said with a smile. “ I’m doing good as well, thank you for asking” Aynor said looking at the trees “ I’m glad you were able to save the trees. There so lovely this time of year” He said dropping his ears. “ Don’t worry about it, we know how to care for our trees.” The young farmer chuckled softly.
"Very well, Is there anything you need?” Terakta asked her. The farmer shook her head “ No i don't think there is anything we need. Not until the harvest “ She added. “ Very well, We will check in on you before then” he replied before turning to Aynor “ Come, “ He said simply before heading off once more.
They spent most of the morning making their way thru the farms as other Viscets would stop them to speak with them. But the time they made it to the other River that ran along the other side of the farms Terakta slowed “ Let's catch us some lunch and rest before we continue on” He said setting his bag down and walked over to the river. Aynor sat down and watched him, He didn't know how to fish, plus he still didn't trust the water.
Soon they had some food sat quietly as they ate their food. After they finished Terakta stood and looked around. “ I’m sorry Aynor but there isn't a shallow spot here, “ He said looking at the Sapphire Viscet. Aynor sighed softly and looked at the water, the memory of falling into the water as a Viscling causing him to tremble slightly, only to have a gentle paw rest on his shoulder as Terakta crouched to be eye level with him “ Aynor, I know you're scared, but you can do this. You are strong and brave like your father. Just stay with me and you will be fine, I promise” He said “ If it helps you can hold onto my tail” He chuckled softly.
Aynor got up and nodded “ Alright, let’s go,” He said turning to the river, allowing Terakta to go ahead of him before he followed. He watched as the older viscet stepped into the water and waded into the water, that reaches up to his knees. Aynor took a deep breath before he followed. Soon they were both out on the other side “ See, you can do anything you set your mind to” With that said hey continued on.
The rest of the journey was easy and aside from the creek they had to cross it was fairly dry. By the time they made it to the Heatherstone woods, it was sunset and they settled in for the night. When morning came they continued on by the time they made it back to the river, they turned and made for the main road where they could use the bridge to return to town “ Well now that was fun, i'll take you along next time Aynor” Terakta said looking at him. “ Alright, sounds good,” Aynor said.

The Sky's the Limit
One bright summer day Aynor lay in his back in the sweet-smelling grass as he watched the sky, soft fluffy clouds dotted the beautiful blue sky. The sun that was slightly hidden by a large white puffy cloud sent rays of light over the patch of land that the large blue Viscet lay. On days like this Aynor loved to be outside, it was on a day like this that he remembered the picnic he and his mother had together. He could barely walk on his hind legs at the time. He closed his eyes as the cool wind blew over him carrying the sweet smell of Lavender. Lavender had been his mother's favorite flower and at times she could be seen with bits of it tied into her mane. She always Smelled of Lavender which was a very soothing smell to Aynor. Opening his eyes he looked back up at the blue sky, the color his mother had been was the color of the Summer sky.
Aynor adored the sky for that very reason because it made him feel as if his mother, even though she was gone, was still there lovingly embracing him. The Sunlight reminded him of her warm eyes and hugs. But the biggest thing was the Lavender, he kept it in his room which helped him relax and sleep when he was stressed.
Aynor was shaken from his thoughts by a loud rumble of thunder, opening his eyes he saw that dark clouds had covered the sky ~ Oh well, nice while it lasted. I’ll so you tomorrow Mother” He thought before rolling over off his back and got up heading back to rosewood
What Have I Done?
(( Takes place back when Aynor was still King))
Aynor sat in a chair in his room, one paw gripping his nose as tears streamed down his face ~What have I done? I ran my only family out of his home~ He thought though he was fighting his emotions, on one paw he was angry and was glad he got his revenge.. on the other, he was fighting the demons in his head, he was sad that he had nobody now. But there was still that nagging demon telling him that he shouldn't care for being ignored in his time of need. ~Maybe I made a mistake... NO, No I never make mistakes... but... I do.. but I don't... I don't even know what or who I am anymore. am I a Demon? or am I just a normal Viscet? " he thought shaking his head and tightened his grip on his nose cursing at himself before slamming his fist into the armrest of the chair and stood up ~NO I will not fall prey to my emotions~ he thought growling before he dried his fur.
