Personality ;; Panther is a very timid cat who is trying her best to acclimate to clan life. She is extremely unsure about herself and she almost never makes her own choices, often times leaving it up to her best friend and ship mate Covepaw. She normally doubts herself, and never has the confidence to saw what she really wants to say. She doesn't like arguing and she would prefer that the peace be kept; Warrior life doesn't seem to be her thing. However, the young cat was an avid dreamer in her kithood and would listen intently to the stories of the wild cats who used to thrive in the forest back when the elder sea cats were young. It's what drove her to leave the warm comfort of her ship and venture out into the mountains, a new sense of curiosity forming in the kit. Of course, she has a very good way with words when she wants to. How else could she have convinced cove to come along?

Panther is extremely adaptable, though, doing well in the new life she made for herself. She's determined, that drive pushing her to become a great member of the tribe. She's intelligent, and extremely vigilant. She's an excellent candidate for a sentry; and that's her dream. Ever since the creation of this new role, Panther is all for it. Covepaw is, in short, a troublemaker, She finds joy in irritating others and being difficult, she loves the long, annoyed sighs she receives when she does something stupid or annoying. She isn’t sure why, but she just loves it. She has an awful tendency to not listen to others, instead just doing her own thing and not really caring about the consequences of her actions. It drives her littermate, Panther, up a wall. Covepaw has to admit, though, she loves Panther. She is extremely loyal to those she loves, and has a strong sense of family. She would do anything to make her family happy, which is why she stayed in the clan in the first place. You see, she has a bad case of wanderlust. She adores travelling and seeing new things; the ship was perfect for her! Unfortunately for her, she was dragged into the stationary clan life, where she tends to get into trouble. She isn’t exactly a great clan cat, being more of a solitary cat than a clan cat. She doesn’t allow herself to grow close to the other clan members, not wanting to grow attached. “You never know when disaster will strike. If something happens, I don’t want to be hurt. This is the wild, and the wild is a dangerous place. We do not belong here, we belong inside with the upwalkers. Don’t expect me to be happy about this lifestyle, I’m only doing this for you, Panther.”
Despite her hatred for her new lifestyle, she does make an effort to try, even when she tries to pass it off as not caring. She beams when she is complimented, is excited when another apprentice does something correctly, and enjoys being one of the few cats in the clan that knows how to properly fish. She loves feeling special, and in time she will grow to love the clan. Her stubborn attitude and her inability to admit she was wrong tends to get the better of her!

She is a terrible gossip and will prooobably spread rumors about you. She is super sassy and you will get a sarcastic remark out of her 9 times out of 10. She fears nothing and has an awful awful habit of taking on tasks that she cant handle because she feels like she has to prove herself. To the dismay of others, she's actually a pretty good listener despite her incredibly chatty nature, but if you manage to get her to listen to you then chances are she actually likes you. Or she's just waiting for you to stop so she can attack. Either one, you can never really be too sure. Her biggest downfall is her intense need to constantly prove herself. She despises losing and she despises being bad at something. She is determined to be the first cat to master every single task in the tribe, despite protests from everyone else that it isn't possible and it isn't efficient. She prefers being with other cats, although the others tend to avoid her because of her troublesome nature. After all, who wants to be associated with the tribe gossip?

She's extremely close to her father, whom she didn't meet until she made it to the tribe, as he didn't know they were born. She loves her brother Stag and would do anything for him, except intentionally lose a fight. That, she found, she is incapable of trying to do. She adores her mother and felt great sadness when she decides to leave the clan, but always makes an effort to go visit when Owlhoot goes back. [ 268 words ]
