Postby geto » Wed Jan 24, 2018 12:24 am

Main Thread
Just wanting to challenge myself<3
Most of the characters will revolve around my OCs;
Nolan//Theo Castor (age 22) | Ylva//Ellie Everett (age 21) | Alex Timone (age 19) | Mandarilyn Castor (Theo's Sister//age 17) | Karina Hayes (age 15)

Notes;
{Theo & Ellie are actors/actresses. Secretly likes each other.}
{Both the Castor twins sing, Theo plays the guitar.}
{Both of them dances too^^}
{Manda is Theo's annoying (but lovable) sister, Theo hates to admit, but he never gets tired of her cute, yet annoying antics.}
{Alex was just recently developed so I don't expect much.}
{Karina is a professional dancer,, recently developed though.}

Feel free to post!

I'm not a little girl!

Postby geto » Wed Jan 24, 2018 1:02 am

"I'm not a little girl!"

"So." Her brother's tall figure leaned against the doorway, his hand on his left hip
whilst his right hooked on to the other, obstructing her path.
"Where do you think you're going dressed..like this?" His right eye twitched, wearing
an expression of disbelief as he scowled slightly.

His sister's brown luxurious hair was tied back into a french braid, not in their normal
mess where it hung out in all directions looking a bird had made a nest in it, her face
was powdered with makeup. Not a lot, but just different from what she usually wore.
And since when did she get that white tight skinned dress?

"None of your business," Mandarilyn said, trying to push through her brother but only to
be pushed back again when he just wouldn't budge.

He raised an eyebrow.

Groaning, she rolled her eyes.
Let me live brother.
"Somewhere that is none of your-"
"And either you tell me, or you'll answer to mom."

She looked up to meet his eyes, glaring, realising that now he had a face full of triumph and
mockery,
"Don't you dare."
Silence.

"Look, I have a party I need to attend."
"What is it? And where?"
"St. Timber. Brea's hosting it."

Theo sighed, crossing his arm across his chest, "you're not going out like..this."
"There's nothing wrong with what I'm wearing!"

Taking her right hand, he hauled her off after him, ignoring everything that came out
of his sister's mouth.
"Theo! I can't be late to this party!"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Theo." Her voice dripped with annoyance, clearly frustrated with her overprotective
brother.

Theo wore a triumph smile on his face, trying to hold in his laughter as his chest shook
slightly before finally bursting out into fits of uncontrollable laughter.

"I really, really, hate you."

Somehow, her brother had managed to put an oversized sweater over her head and
made her put on mom ripped jeans. Ridding her off the white dress that showed off
whatever curves she had.

"I just want you to be safe. You never know who's-"
"I'm not a little girl!"

What even is this?

Postby geto » Wed Jan 24, 2018 1:50 am

"What even is this?"

Her eyes drifted to the other side of the forest, darkness filling every empty
corner in the trees and spaces. Her focus now all on wondering what was lurking in the darkness beyond.
An eerie feeling started to take its chill in her.

"Do you think we should...stop and rest?" Ylva asked, her eyes illuminating a
soft white light.
"Why? Are you scared?" Nolan teased, letting her hand slip down his arm to intertwine
their fingers with his.

She shook her head quickly, but
deep down, she knew what she
truly felt. Though, the warmth
of his body seemed to calm her
down sligthly.

"Relax, I'm here. Lanora's up
top."
Nolan said again, as if he
could sense her feelings.
"Top?" Ylva looked to him again,
nervousness setting in to her
chest.
"Yea, top. She's in the trees
following us remember?"
"Following us?'
She repeated.

Giving a light breathy laugh,
Nolan looked down to meet her
white eyes; which was shining
brighter than ever.
"You're nervous aren't you?"
"Huh? N-no." She looked about
again, the strange vibe of the
forest now sending chills down
her spine.
"I like it.." He muttered softly.

Her eyes darted back to meet
his face,
"Huh?"

He smiled, barely visible in the
dark night. "How you always
stutter when you're nervous."
"I-I'm not nervous!"
She shot
back quickly.

Suddenly, a rustle to her left caught her attention, whipping around immediately she clung on to his arm tightly as a black figure raced past their feet, yelping in surprise, she jumped up into the air.

With a snap of his fingers, a blue mist struck out and slowly dissipated into the cold air, carrying up a small black creature with bright green eyes in his left hand, he held it up in front of Ylva who was cowering behind his arm.
"It's cute!" He gushed, bringing surprise to Ylva as she had never seen him act this way. The creature, in return, let out a small 'yowl'.

But what was that?

"Hold it?" He asked, and Ylva shook her head quickly, "Oh come on, she won't hurt you!"

Ylva grimaced, sure the creature looked harmless, her luminous green eyes staring straight into hers and small thin whiskers protruding from her small weird looking jaw, her nose as black as soot and her ears perked up warily in Ylva's direction.
But she's met plentiful creatures that seemed ever so innocent, only to turn their back on her again that she had learned to never let herself be fooled by one's appearance.
Nolan held it closer, tilting his head as he wore a big smile that looked so foolish for an assassin like him.

Where did that tough, sarcastic assassin that I know went? So easily succumbing to this creature, it must have magical powers!

Bracing herself for any attacks, she rested her staff on her shoulder, holding up her hands as she turned her face away in case those sharp claws ever made an attempt to meet her face.

Weirdly, the creature felt soft, very soft, slowly melting into it's presence, Ylva seemed to forget what she was so worried about earlier, no longer bothered about the vibe of the forest as she examined the innocent creature.
But, pretending to be disgusted, she scowled, "What even is this?"

A thud came from behind her, as she turned around quickly, she saw the familiar outline of Lanora as she walked closer, smiling,
"That's a cat."

This...is a mess.

Postby geto » Wed Jan 24, 2018 2:32 am

"This...is a mess.
{The characters are taken from my book, 'The Eyes that follows'}

Scurrying quickly over the
buildings and jumping over broken
tiles, the siblings made their way
quietly over the roofs of London,
cutting through the night silently
yet stealthily.

That was what they always did,
as assassins, they scale the night
to make sure no trouble arises.

But even too much peace also
could mean trouble. As what
their master always told them;
Peacce could always be an
invitation to chaos.

Looking over his shoulder, he made
sure his sister was following along.
But to his horror and surprise,
she seemed to have taken a
completely different route from
his.

Image

Looking over the roofs he tried to spot his rambunctious sister, only to spot her dark robe disappearing around a corner just a few feet away from where he was. Letting out a small groan of frustration he picked his feet up, beginning the tiring chase for his older sister or for whatever she had gotten her eyes on.

As he went, he always seemed to catch glimpses of her before she disappeared behind a wall or around a corner, or even suddenly taking a different turn as though she was trying to lose him. Realising what she was doing, Owa took a different turn,
he wasn't quite sure if Nari had seen him but this was a game they had played since they were kids.
One hides, and one follows.

Now wasn't the time to play games, but if she was hinting at one, Owa's immature self was definitely going for a straight yes.

How long has it been since the siblings had some fun?

Not making a sound, he tried to close up the gap between them, inching closer and closer until all of a sudden, Nari disappeared.

Literally disappeared.
Where did she go?

Stopping in his tracks he retraced it a few steps, looking about his surroundings as he went on high alert, keeping a lookout.

"Darn." He cursed silently under his breath, and just then he heard a sound coming from the alleyway just a few buildings away from his current location.
Curious, he went to check it out.

And just as he neared his destination, he heard a familiar voice.

"Here kitty,"
Nari!

And what in the world was she doing?

Peeking over the roof he looked down at the empty, dark alley which was only dimly lit by a single lamp-post.
And there Nari was, kneeling down over a cardboard box and peering into it. Her back faced to him.

He watched intently as his eyebrows furrowed at his sister's stupidity.
Master had taught to never put your alert off guard, and what Nari was doing, could definitely get her a nasty ambush.

And then he heard a giggle before watching his sister lift a kitten into the air, then two, then three.
She stroked their heads gently, swooning over the kittens.
He frowned again before letting out a whistle to catch her attention.

Whipping her head around, she widened her eyes as she spotted her brother squatting on the edge of the roof, embarrassment flushing through her as she quickly placed the kittens back into the box knowing how much Owa disliked them, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear before smiling widely.
Well...as long as she doesn't beg me to keep them, I'll be fine...right?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was just a few days.
A few days.

The three kittens were just as rambunctious as anyone Owa had ever met, during their entire week of stay they've found their way to rip up anything they could find. Nevermind introducing the house to them. They seemed to have made themselves so
comfortable.

But he slowly relaxed into it, everytime the kittens would walk up to his feet he would stop nudging them away, but instead pick them up and absentmindedly stroke their soft ears.

Since young, they were trained to put their emotions and feelings aside, to be serious in their work, and so serious till the point most have forgotten how to have fun.
Gosh, what would Master say if he sees this?

Socks, papers, ripped cloth everywhere...they were just the alternate versions of a very happy dog.
Well this...is a mess ain't it?

They've got dad

Postby geto » Wed Jan 24, 2018 11:15 pm

"They've got dad."

As the lightning cracked through
the stale air, the two siblings
huddled close together to preserve
as much warmth as possible, him
holding his younger sister in his
arms as he brought her close.

This was it, they wouldn't know
if mom and dad had made it. But
if they don't return by morning, he
knew that he had made a pact
secretly with mother that he
would have to leave with Elise.

The night was certainly getting
colder, and with the lack of
supplies, things weren't looking
really good...Freezing to death
definitely wasn't the best way
Aiden could think of, but definitely
better than being eaten alive by
the 'walkers'.

Image

Sighing, he looked down at his chest where Elise had rested her cheek on, her eyes closed, hands tucked between her and his body and seems to be sleeping peacefully after what felt like weeks. Her face dirtied with soot and dust and her skin paler than ever.

He didn't have the guts to think what will happen if she'd died.

Stroking her hair softly, his eyes darkened with sadness,
when will this tragedy be over?

The small abandoned house was barely enough to provide shelter for the family. The rucksack which used to be filled with canned food was now nearly empty which was why their parents had left to go in search for more. And most importantly they had to stay silent.
His eyes shot over to the open entrance of the small garage as he spotted a figure approaching them in the rain, coming closer and closer as he nudged his sister awake, his fingers wrapping around a wooden pole as he got up. Ready to fight if he ever needed to.

Squinting, the outline of the person became clearer, it was then when he spotted his mom's familiar blonde hair that he placed the pole aside, his mind wandering to the worst as he realized that father was nowhere to be seen.

As she came nearer, he grabbed hold of her wrist and pulled her in, turning her around to face him as horror registered on his face.

Catching her breath, silently thankful for the rain as it covered her tears, she broke down, wrapping her arms around his chest tightly as her shoulders shook violently.

Even at this time she tried to stay strong, refusing to make any sounds for the fear that nearby walkers would hear her.
Seeing his mother like this was different, and when the apocalypse had started she had never shown any signs of weaknesses.

"Where is father?" His sister asked nonchalantly as she approached them, her eyebrows creased in worry as Aiden looked away, burying his face in mother's hair.
"Mom? Aiden?"

Mother turned to look at her, her eyes now reddened and sunken in grief, every movement she did came slowly.
"They've got dad, sweetheart...those greedy walkers...they've got him.."

I don't speak...your language.

Postby geto » Sat Jan 27, 2018 2:39 am

"I don't speak...your language."

As the three carried on with their journey, Nolan stopped, pointing in the
direction of the sun that was just setting, and from where they were standing,
it was framed by two large mystical looking trees.

"Here we are," He said, strapping his bow back to its place as Ylva tentatively
placed a hand on the rough trunk of the tree, examining in awe at the ancient
hundred-year-old things.
"The entrance to the Seelie realm."

"This?" Ylva turned back around, raising an eyebrow in question as she asked in
disbelief.
Nodding, Nolan walked over, standing between them as he closed his eyes, a
blue mist slowly forming as they circled around his hands and into the roots
of the trees, letting it seep into up the trunks, then disappearing up into the
canopy of leaves.
"Seelies are sacred Faeries, watch what you say Ylva and Lanora."

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Muttering a chant silently under his breath, Ylva looked around nervously as she noticed a slight change in the temperature, suddenly dropping down a few degrees as Lanora appeared by her side, holding her hand as she activated her heating rune.
"Just opening the portal, don't worry." Lanora whispered softly, as if she could read Ylva's mind.

Watching intently, a sudden burst of light took her by surprise as she stepped back quickly, placing her hand up in an attempt to block the blinding light as it slowly died down, allowing her vision to adjust back to its surroundings.

Everything was different.

The grasses were longer, the flowers and trees were closely packed together and there was a slight blue tinge in the air, almost like a haze. Furthermore, the two ancient trees were no longer there.
"Hey!" Nolan yelped as Ylva turned around, only to see a young looking Seelie with golden brown hair tugging on his hand, giggling.

"Who is she?" Ylva asked, bringing the child's attention towards her before she looked back to Nolan, saying something in a language Ylva didn't understand but grew suspicious when Nolan threw a grin towards her direction, then spoke back to the child in supposedly the same language.
The little mischievous girl looked at her again.

Something about Nolan holding the child's hand spiked something in her, it was just so...different.

Ylva then looked towards Lanora with pleading eyes, asking her to translate what they had just said but all she did was gave her a smile before turning away, laughing. Sharing a joke amongst themselves that Ylva didn't quite understand.

"Nolan." She pouted, only to receive another string of words from the child, this time directed towards her as she approached Ylva, taking her hand in her small pale ones,
"I don't speak...your language." Ylva said silently, but followed as the child lead the both of them further into the strange forest.

"They trust me, I'm a Seelie myself, but as for you, you've got to be careful." Nolan whispered, following along.
"Was that the joke you all were keeping from me?" Ylva rolled her eyes, looking away in feigned annoyance.
He chuckled silently, "She merely commented that you were the most beautiful mortal that she had ever seen in her life."

"And what did you say? That's clearly a-"
"I told her I agreed."

The Seelie turned back briefly, shooting Ylva a glance as she felt a burning sensation growing in her cheeks, looking away she tried to blend in with the shadows, hoping that no one could see how red her face was.

Maybe I'll just shoot you

Postby geto » Wed Jan 31, 2018 10:15 am

"Maybe I'll just shoot you."

{Thanks Ranger!<3)

Walking along the pavement of the quiet city, in one hand holding a steaming cup of coffee, and the other his bow.

Suddenly realising that he had company, he looked to his right, her blue eyes staring widely into his.
"What? I need to stay awake."

She nodded slowly, turning away.
"There's no need to be so scared of-"
"So, do you assassinate people on your master's order?"

Dead silence.

He didn't know how to answer the question, everytime someone questioned him he'll always find a way to weasle out of the topic.
But right now he couldn't, there just wasn't any way.

"Uh.." He began, his tongue tied and brain racking for an answer.

If I say yes, I'll appear to be like a killer, if no, she'll question me further.

"I..just protect him."
"That doesn't answer my question, from what? The mafias?"
She asked.

He nodded tentatively, sipping his coffee silently as he looked about. Something in his guts was telling him that something was off, just something about the path they were taking was wrong.

His fist clenched more tightly around his bow, ready to load an arrow if he needed to.

"Why are the mafs after him?"
"Izzy, keep quiet for a moment."
"Why?"
"Just do as you're told."
"If you say-"
"Shush!"

She brushed her brown hair away from her face, looking ahead of her.
Finishing up his last drop of coffee, he threw it quickly into the bin, his eyes never leaving his surroundings.

"Come." He said, taking hold of her wrist as he pulled her off the pavement and into the shelters of the trees.
"Seb! What are you doing?"
"I'm not going to harm you. Just. I'll explain everything later."
"Seb!"

And that was it, he clamped a hand over her mouth lightly to signal her to stay silent, making her freeze for a quick moment before he took his hand away.
"Silent." He said firmly as she nodded.

Kneeling, he reached a hand behind his back and got hold of an arrow, loading it quickly onto the bow string.
"Mafs?"

He nodded, though unsure, the perimeter of where he was supposed to watch was rather big, and any mafias could easily ambush them with a simple snap of their fingers.

"Maybe it's the mafs?" She said, lowering her voice slightly.
"There's no 'maybe', there are mafs."
"I'm just saying may-"
"And maybe I'll just shoot you if you say another word!"

That certainly shut her up, her eyes widened to the size of saucers which made him chuckle for a little bit, how she froze and immediately shut up, his little sixteen-year-old sister was indeed adorable.

{Taken and twisted a lil bit from my other plot "And there They watch."}

You are very...lovely

Postby geto » Sun May 20, 2018 8:43 pm

"You are very...lovely."

Looking about, lost in his thoughts and arms folded across his chest, Nolan let out a small sigh as his eyes glazed lazily over the village that he had so dearly protected.
People were everywhere, be it roasting chopped meat over fires, or running errands, and even spotting a grey-haired elder with a small group of little children sitting by her feet, telling a tale or two about the ancestors that Nolan had heard of so many times when he was just a young kid like them - back when he knew nothing about the world and nothing about what he was going to be.

When was the last time mother had read him a story?

Just then, a commotion coming from the entrance of the village caught his attention, readying a knife in hand, he made his way forward where a crowd was just beginning to form, and right there, coming back from when he had sent them out at the crack of dawn the day before, was the patrol team.
Two burly men were holding a clearly agitated lady by the arms, her head swinging from side to side as she bared her teeth, looking for an opportunity to bite anyone that dared come near her.
Something about the way she dressed told Nolan that she came nowhere near from the village, her ragged clothing just barely covering her and barren feet bruised and cut by the sharp mountain rocks...it was just like Ylva when he first saw her.

Stepping closer, he examined her as she glared into his eyes, fury burning in them.

Her face was painted with a thick red paint, could've been from an animal's blood. But she didn't seem to understand what was going on and her posture had certainly given her away however much she tried to conceal her fear and confusion.

"Who is she? And what business does she have for you to bring her here?" He asked deeply, looking to Ewan.
"We found her in the forest, caught in a sling trap and wouldn't stop acting like a rabid monkey." He replied simply.

Looking down to her feet, this time closely, Nolan could now certainly make out the longer, now dried up cuts on her calves.
Surprised that it hadn't caught on any sort of infections, he frowned.
Then looking back up to meet her eyes, he stepped closer and stopped when she took a step back, threatened by his built though her teeth still bared and expression fixed.

"Do you understand me?" He asked.

Giving the same expression, the lady seemed to notice that he was addressing her directly, her eyes dropping to his feet and up to the peak of his horns before it settled back on his mismatched eyes.
"Tavi'na" She muttered under her breath.

She tried to take a step forward but was pulled back by one of the men, who let go after Nolan shot him a glare.
"Let her."

Snarling at the men who previously held her, she turned her head back sharply towards Nolan, taking cautious steps while her head tilted from side to side, studying him.
By now, a big crowd had formed around them, each person taking a step back when the odd lady shot looks at them.

"Tavi'na.." She muttered again, nearing him.
"Do you understand me?" He asked again.

Gathering up her courage, she stood face to face to Nolan, who noticed that she was almost as tall as him due to her tiptoed legs.
The way that Hector had walked.
Her snarl, which was now beginning to cover her teeth, turned into a small smile.
"A little bit." She said softly, her voice surprisingly as sweet as honey.

She looked at his face, detecting his features and yet there was something so suspicious about her. Something that was so off that-

Suddenly, she jumped back, lowered to the ground as the snarl came back on her face, taking Nolan a second to realize that his knife was wedged in her right hand that was raised behind her head, the snarl now coming back into a smirk but the growling still audible.

"Tricky." Nolan huffed, signaling the men to back away as they came closer if they ever needed to contain her again.

But taking the time that Nolan had diverted his attention to the men, the thief took a quick swipe at him, which he skillfully dodged in time before it had carved a slick cut in his cheek.
Throwing a mocking smile, he too lowered to the ground, taking another knife from the holster on his leg.

"Knife." She said,
"You want a fight?"

The smirk on her face grew, her hand clenched around the leather.

"You are very...lovely." He said before she lunged straight for him.
