Poetry give away

Okay so this is how I'm going to do things. I'm going to do a random giveaway every 10 poems or so. (Depends on how popular this thread gets)

What I want you to do instead of bumping is write a poem.

It can be rhyming or a free verse but more chance of winning if it's rhyming.

It can have any theme as long as it's appropriate, mine are usually depressed so I understand.

No copying your poem, it must be a new poem every time you enter.

Poems must be at least 8 lines.

You can only enter once per page. (This may vary depending on how popular it gets)

If you want to bump but not good at poety please quote there rules

Listen to my heart as it beats
Tear me up and leave me on the streets
I'll still always bee better than you
And you will never have a clue
What I have had to overcome

You push me around with no remorse
I'm screaming til my voice is hoarse
I'm screaming at you to find the day
When you can find a better way
To overcome whoever hurt you

Day by day we hurt inside
And I know that I have tried
But your to hurt to improve
So writing this is my final move
I'm sorry for all you went through

Wasted Love

There was a girl that I knew at one time;
She was sitting alone and she knew that was fine.
A barrier built around the girl's heart;
To guard her from the world's dark art.

But there was a boy who looked so tall;
Though on the inside he was oh so small.
He bullied the others, beat em till they bled;
He had been hurt from what his parent's bred.

A monster they called the boy with the anger;
A weirdo they called the girl with the hunger.
One day they met and the boy did be nice;
Then they went out, not once, but twice.

One the second date, the girl turned to him;
Told him her life and what could've been.
Expressed how she felt in his presence;
How without his love, she wouldn't exist.

The boy in his shock, ran away from the girl;
He was frightened by this new but lovely world.
He'd never felt love before and in his fear;
He left that good girl and never again drew near.

Now that girl in her hurt took her own life;
And that boy in his fear, lived on in strife.
He drank and he cursed, hating this land;
Then died one day by pills in his own hand.

Off to the afterlife these two went;
But united they were in past torment.
A love not accepted, a chance not tasted;
This is what happens when love is wasted.

The nights get longer
The days get sorter
The winters tests
To every pest
And I am no acception

The mice move into people's homes
The squirrels makes homes in trees
The bears sleep in the cave
All the birds fly away
And then your left with me

My test is diffrent from the animals
My test lies deep withing the walls
The walls of my head
Where all my thoughts dread
Winter, don't test this pest tonight
