Dear Saltface,

Liluye just saved Hershey's life.

Hershey, being the total nut he is, decided to eat a mushroom because he was starving. Then, suddenly...

"Spit that out!" Liluye demanded. Surprised, Hershey did. Liluye examined the mushroom. "It's a poisonous mushroom. Without medical treatment, you could die. But since you didn't swallow it, I guess it's okay. But you should probably eat some snow to wash your mouth. Just don't eat the yellow snow."
Hershey sat frozen (Pun not intended) for a minute, then leaned over and kissed Liluye on the cheek. Soon, the pair of them were snogging like they'd done this for ages.

"What is this, Camp Kissy-Face?" I demanded.

Everyone laughed.

Bah. It's getting dark. Dark with a full moon on top. Perfect for a prank I haven't ever played before, but I've wanted to for ages.

"Hey, Hermione!" I called. "Doesn't that full moon look pretty?"
"I never noticed," Hermione replied, surprised. She gazed up at it like she'd never seen anything like it.

I went off and pretended that I was doing something else, then I came back, and the nut was still staring up at the moon!

So, you want to know what I did?

Well, first, you have to lose the game. Which you just did. And so did I.

Next, you have to stand up, and turn around three times while rubbing your stomach with one hand and waving with the other.

Next, you can wait...

And wait...

And presto! You can now find out what I did.

So, Hermione was still staring at the FULL moon, blah blah blah. So, I snuck up behind her, and howled.

Hermione's reaction was beautiful. She jumped up, screaming. Did I mention she is in to all of that werewolf/vampire stuff?

Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh.

Anywaaaaaay,

I'm getting tired.

It's such a coincidence that 'morning' almost rhymes with 'boring'. Right?

Vine keeps getting motion sickness. How does she even manage, when we're not even moving?

Oh, wait. It's pneumonia, not motion sickness.

I think Ice needs more science tutoring. Yeah, she's the one who told me. As if I couldn't see it for myself.

Cassius is failing so badly at trying to make a fire. But I think that's because Ice forgot to tell him that those were the same sticks she was using to prod at something in the river.

Welcome to the failfest. Where we have fails and coldness!

I need a life. So badly.

Liluye is currently jogging in place. I have no idea why. And Hershey is with her. They're planning on having a date tonight.

How are they supposed to have a date in the middle of a bunch of mountainous nothing???

Liluye told us that we're in Colorado. And we live in Nevada. Near Las Vegas. Which means we have to walk a really long way. Really long. That plot is so overused. But Liluye says, "It's all about survival."

I want a hamburger. Now.

...That was so random.

Right now, we're camping alongside a river. It's on the ground, so we're not on a mountain anymore. But we're going to have to trek up one again. And another. We haven't seen any roads yet, because if we had, we'd be asking the first wolves we'd see for a ride home!

We're, like, on a deserted campground. I guess you can call it a beach. It has pebbles all over it. Ice got many stuck in her fur.

Dear Saltface,

I wish a rampaging bison would come along and spice things up. But then, I should probably be careful what I wish for.

Today is St. Patrick's Day. Luckily, I was wearing a green shirt when we got lost. So, yay me. Hershey, Cassius, and Vine already have some green fur, so that's a little unfair. Liluye's blouse and skirt has green on it, and so does Hermione's pants. I haven't checked Ice yet, but I'm pretty sure she isn't wearing any green. I want to pinch someone.

Yeah, Ice isn't wearing green. I can tell because Hershey is chasing after her. I'm going to help him.

...That was fun.

Anywaaayyy...

Liluye says we're approaching the state border between Colorado and Utah. Still no roads in sight.

Life hates me so much that it decided to throw a girlfriend-stealer, a rabid mountain lion, and this very cliche journey in my life.

Maybe my name comes with bad luck?

...Nah. It must be the change in the wind. The rustle in the grass. You're not alone.

You know what? The way to tell if someone has a life or not is to see if they quote National Geographic or not. Which I just did.

..Maybe I'll borrow Hershey's life for a little bit. Or five or six of Liluye's lives.

Or maybe my own life is hiding in the snow and is giggling maliciously, watching me fail at my attempts to try to find it.

That's why life could be the best thing that ever happened in one second, and the worst thing that ever happened in the next second.
