I walked towards my mother, her smile was shinning brightly. But I wasn't interested in her and took a step towards my blue backpack. "Good morning piper", she greeted me "should I drive you to school today it seems a bit chilly." Her voice made me shudder, I decline her offer and walked out the door. What was up with her today, she wasn't usually keen on driving me to school or speaking to me. My family was never the talkative type. My family was very wealthy and would expect me to go beyond expectations. I was an only child so my mother almost depended on me to carry on with our family's legacy, though I planned my turnout differently than my mother. I planning on running away after I finished my second year in high school.... I just needed to keep my grades up and I won't get caught by my mother.
My thoughts where interrupted by the sound of the bus door opening, I rushed into my seat. I was in the first seat on the first stop, the bus driver kept quite the whole bus ride which relieved me. I didn't sit with anyone because they would usually only ask me questions about things I wouldn't answer. I then heard "please move over a bit I'd like to sit here.", I looked up at the boy, not trying to be rude I moved over. Why couldn't he of sat in the other open seats. He quickly got out a sketch pad from his book bag and started drawing. I noticed he was wearing a blue sweat shirt and shorts, he seemed a bit weird for kid. I suddenly began to look at my leg, " is your leg okay?" He questioned " it has some bruises.". I blushed and pulled my leggings down to cover my ankle " I fell." I replied, but he didn't look satisfied with my answer.
