Quickshadow x Heatwave // I Know You Love Me... // FF

this is a fan story im writing myself. the base is transformers rescue bots. i ship heatwave and quickshadow (who doesn't?) and i have decided to write a fan fiction. you can PM me and I can do other characters, for example chase and bumblebee (why do I ship them?????). anyway, on with the story. but first, lemme take a SELFIE! let me show you what everything means:

cybertronian: another bot
Cybertron: the land where the bots were found.
Helm: head
digits: fingers
chassis: chest
Optics: eyes
Audials: the sides of the head where bots hear, basically ears.
Femme: a female bot
Energon: basically their blood. It keeps them alive.
Creator: a mother
Sire: a father
Newspark/sparkling: baby bot
Berth: bed
Mech: male bot
Recharge: sleep
Servo: hand
Status lock: coma
Youngling: a young bot that hasn't matured yet.

Quickshadow POV

i had just recently traveled to griffin rock. i was already friends with the other cybortronians; heatwave, chase, boulder and blades. i can't forget the humans; chief, kade, graham, dani, and cody. when i arrived over the ship with optimus, blurr, and salvage, i was greeted by heatwave and boulder. "Hello," i said calmly. boulder waved at me while heatwave just grumbled. i said goodbye to blurr and salvage. i then transformed into vehicle mode and drove to the firehouse, boulder and heatwave following closely behind. we arrived very fast. i transformed into bot mode once i entered the firehouse.

Heatwave POV

I followed closely behind Quickshadow. I transformed when we got back to the firehouse. Quickshadow looked very tired. "Where can I recharge?" She questioned, yawning quietly.
"There is a spare berth in heatwaves' room," said Chase. I growled quietly. I didn't want to share with her! Quickshadow nodded and turned to me. "Where exactly is your room, Heatwave?" She said gently. I pointed to my room. "Over there," I grumble. Quickshadow nods and tiredly walks off. I shake my helm and hold it in my digits, sighing angrily. Chase came over to me. "Are you alright, Heatwave?" He asked. I didn't answer, but only with a grunt.

Quickshadow POV

There was a large dint in the berth that I supposed was Heatwaves. I went over to the other bed on the other side of the room then flopped into the berth and grunted. I curled up and recharged.

Heatwave POV

Quickshadow had been recharging for over five hours. "She must be tired," I muttered quietly. I decide to go and check on her. "I'll be back in a moment, team," I say, then head to my room. Blades decided to follow me for no apparent reason. "She's still sleeping, and Blades, why did you follow me?" I said. Blades left me with a sigh and went to join the others. I look out the window and open the curtains.
It was night. Midnight in fact. I was getting tired. I went out of my room to go and punch my punching post on the second floor. i was grunting continuously, and guess what. Quickshadow began to wake up. I tiredly stumble downstairs, a light flashing, symbolizing I had to charge. Quickshadow let out a tired groan as she used her legs to push the duvet off her. She blinked her ice blue optics and turned to face me. "W- what time is it?" She yawned. "Midnight," I grumble, laying down in my berth. I snuggled under the duvet. I heard quickshadows footsteps approaching me. "Why do you have to be so... grumpy..? Heatwave?" She questioned. I open my Orange optics to look at her. "I'm not always~" I say in a different tone of voice. she looks at me, confused. I close my optics again. I recharge peacefully.

Quickshadow POV

Heatwave is recharching. i decide to slip down to the area humans call the 'Kitchen'. Everyone was sleeping and recharging. I look in the fridge, looking at all the food. I can't eat any of it, though. I start looking around the Kitchen more and hum a few tunes to myself. suddenly, the light gets switched on and I jump, causing everything to rustle and make noise. It was heatwave. "What are you doing down here?" We say in unsion. I giggle and cover my mouth. he answers first. "I heard something down here so I came down to check." He says in a kind voice. "I was just exploring," I said gently, opening a cuboard. there were just plates. I sigh. "I'm bored!" I groan, looking at heatwave. Heatwave tells me to go back to his room. I sigh and go. He travels up a few minutes later, a book in his hands. He flicks through the pages with his gray digits. He finds a page and looks satisfied with himself. He begins reading the chapter. It was about love. he turned to me and I smiled cutely at him. He closed the book and I went to my bed. I fell back asleep. Heatwave watched me for a while but went to his bed.

I am awoken by Heatwave in the morning. "What time is it?" I groan tiredly, pushing his hand off my arm. "6 AM," he replied. "WhY so early?" I say, sitting up. "Because everyone's awake." He says, helping me sit. I yawn tiredly and stand up, pushing my covers off and stretching. He smiles at me and I smile back. "Any rescues need to be attended?" I yawn. "No," he says. Someone knocks on the door. "Come in," grumbles Heatwave, standing up and getting away from my berth. It was Chase. "Good morning," says he. "Good morning," Heatwave and I say in unison. I chuckle and decide to go for a drive. I go down to th basement where I transform into vehicle mode and I drive down to the empty beach. Heatwave follows me. Kade was heard shouting after him but we just laugh.

Heatwave POV

I follow quickshadow down to whereever she is going. I really like her. Like, really like her. I know she likes me too. I'll confess to her maybe. we arrive at the beach and I'm first to get there. I realise Quickshadow is behind me. She transforms into bot mode. "What took you?" I ask. "Look what I found!" Quickshadow shows me a small kitten cupped in her hands. I can't help it but smile and use my digit to pet the kitten. "It's adorable," Quickshadow smiles. "It was dumped on the side of the road. I stopped to pick it up," she explains. She sits on the sand with the kitten on her lap. I go to sit beside her. "It's so cute," I say gently. Quickshadow smiles and keeps her focus on the kitten. "What will you name it?" I ask her. She thinks for a while before replying: "Twig." She says. I scooch closer to her and wrap my arm around her shoulder. I use my other hand to pet the kitten. "Twig is a good name for it," I say, looking at Quickshadow and then the kitten. She places Twig on my lap, and the kitten looks and purrs at me. Quickshadow hugs me tightly and I am lost for words.

Heatwave POV

I look to smile at Quickshadow. I hug her back, making sure the kitten didn't fall. "Quickshadow?" I say softly. "Yes?" The femme answers. I look into her optics as she looks into mine. "I've had some feelings for you lately...." I say shyly. She hugs me tighter. "Me too," she whispers. She takes the kitten from my lap and puts it down on hers. I smile at her and she smiles back. She opens her window and gently puts the kitten in. She closes the window and transforms. I do the same, and we drive back to the firehouse.
