Oh, come on! He's old, he's gotta die sometime.

Who is the least favorite character you've created?

Felicia, the lycanthrop, from an old novel called "The She-Wolf Warrior". She was a near copy of me, had the same hair, build and eyes, liked the same things. And she had all of my good personality traits, and practically zero bad ones! She was instantly good at things she picked up (archery, swordfighting), and even had an adoptive wolf mother, who was the most perfect mother imaginable! Let's just say that she was the one that killed the novel. I got so bored of little miss what-I-wanted-to-be, that the novel was no longer fun to write. I actually liked the villain more, and gradually the villain was more like me than Felicia!

But, Felicia isn't lost forever, when I'm finished with The Story of Dante (hopefully by the end of this year, haha, I can dream) I'm thinking of rewriting that novel next. It was great, and had huge potential, but man, Felicia is going to take some work.

1. Oddhopper's Opera by Kurt Cyrus
2. Dragon For Sale by Marianne Macdonald
3. Fish is Fish by Leo Lionni
4. The Pinkish, Purplish, Bluish Egg by Bill Peet
5. Crickwing by Janell Cannon

There's my top five. I decided to ask this since Mom and I are going through a lot of books, and I remembered Fish is Fish and how it stuck with me. So then I pulled it off the shelf and read it to remember it's awesomeness. That's another criteria for this question, these books can also be ones that you would re-read multiple times, even well into your adulthood. Also, I do hope I'm not the only one who does that.

What is your favorite (or top five favorite) children's book(s)? By this I mean a picture book or short early reader chapter book.

1. Warrior Cats Series by Erin Hunter
2. Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss
3. Alexander and the horrible, terrible, no good, very bad day by Judith Viorst
4. No, David! by David Shannon
5. Junie B. Jones by Barbra Park

If short stories are going to be what's put here then... Maybe not. Might Link Prisoner of Galra here for anyone who're Voltron: Legendary Defender Fans and my former Pokemon Nuzlocke story whenever I get that published on Wattpad. But... I dont know yet. >.> As well as Restructure.

YES KILL CHARACTERS.

Do you have any characters who are going to die sometime in the future?

Niamph..... But not anytime soon soon. Its not a spoiler bc.. its kind of expected of someone whose the villain right? Its the killing that matters muahaha.

Who is the least favorite character you've created?

My first book's protag was named Alana and she was boarderline marysue and she ended up being a pedo pretty much. Yeaah not my best choice in character >.> She was Seventeen whilst Link was twelve at the least and fourteen at most.

And she was pratically me tbh. I am remaking her story though which can be found here: Riding the Waves

2) Arthur Gets The Chicken Pox
3) If You Give a Moose a Muffin
4) Ratatouille: Look and Find
5) The Hiccupotamus

none of this exists. wrote:@Silver I've heard that Sherlock Holmes are some great stories. I was never able to get through them, though.

I like it so far! The entire collection of stories is over 1100 pages, so I haven't gotten very far yet. It's a little hard to get through, but worth it.

@Silver
Man, that's cool! How many stories are in it? Which is your favorite so far?

Haha, I haven't finished one yet. I believe there are nine? There may be more though, I'd have to double-check. There's most likely more.

Also I ship Silver with random cute partner

Well, the first couple are easy. Chicka-Chicka Boom! Boom! was my absolute favorite, though that could be because of how my dad always reads it. The kid sitting on his knees was always bounced or tickled whenever we got to the booms. It was fun. Other than that, a couple of Dr. Suess books, maybe a picture book from the Dora market. Possibly the one that came with a CD of songs, for obvious enough reasons.

@Silver, I think the ship may be a little more than just in the shipyards ;)

Hmm, well not too hard

1. Mice of the Herringbone series
2. Guardians of Ga'hoole
3. The Hobbit
4. Redwall
5. The horse and his boy

And honestly I think I'll read all of them through adulthood. These stories heavily influenced my writing, both character and plotwise.

@ Whoever is reading Sherlock Holmes. I loved those! I got a huge book from my library too, gold tinged pages and leather cover. It was amazing to read that! Those are books that I can agree on being classic. I was recommended to read them as a bit of research on the Victorian period for the story I did for Nano, to get the feel for mannerisms and also the writing style of that period.

I need to read up on this. That reminds me of how they found the kakapo again--I think there were about eighteen hiding on the side of an extremely steep mountain? And I'm not sure if I'll post it yet; it's more of a small idea where jacanas have created an advanced society ("advanced" not as in sci-fi, but as in more of an early human society, with small cities and religion and all that), but it's not really fleshed out at the moment. But yeah, congrats on your trip!
Idk, I think that was the takahe, tbh XD From what I know of the kakapo story, there were only a few males left, but no one knew if there were any females~ c:
Ooh, sounds interesting! Good luck with it :D

the Hairy Maclary books by Lynley Dodd. Classic. :D

Um... Idk anymore picture-books, tbh :p
EXCEPT my all-time favourite was a lil chapter-book with two or three Sherlock Holmes stories. I couldn't even read, lol, and had no idea what it was, but I loved it; took it camping, told myself stories I imagined from its pages, etc. Aaah, those were the days c':

When I was really really young (like, really young), my favourite book was "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". It's adorable <3

I know I should go back and answer all the recent questions but I don't wanna so I'm not gunna.
I'll answer this one, though;
What is your favorite (or top five favorite) children's book(s)? By this I mean a picture book or short early reader chapter book.
The very first one that pops to mind is Hooway for Wodney Wat by Helen Lester. *wipes tear away* Go find it, please.
Mm, what else? My Creature Teacher by Laura Leuck (apparently - I don't remember, so I'm looking it up).
Probably anything by Bill Peet. Man, I loved those things. Still do.
Also anything by Mo Willems. The Elephant and Piggie books are the ones I remember most (we have a few), but he also has one about naked mole rats, and a whole bunch about a pigeon. There's also a duck somewhere.
And then . . . . Sure, Cat and the Hat. Or any of his stuff.

The Gardener (Sarah Stewart), The Day the Crayons Quit (Drew Daywalt), and Room on the Broom (Julia Donaldson) were and are my favorite kid's books. Funny thing, I didn't read The Day the Crayons quit when I was little; I actually found it pretty recently at the library. Such good books! Also, there's maybe a thousand books I read about animals that I can't remember, but I loved almost all of them.
