"Nooooo!" Angela shrieked, throwing her head back with her hands over her eyes, while Blaire cackled madly. "Blaire, nohohooo!"
Angela sobbed dryly into her hands, though no tears actually fell. "Why meeeeeee?" She cried, making dramatic movements with her hands as she looked up at the roof. Blaire just laughed, her eyes wild as she waved the card around, blue flashing through the air.
"It is mine!" She laughed maniacally. "All mine!"
"Ugh, come on, Blaire! Can't you ever let me have at least a little bit of glory? Just a bit?" Angela cried, slumping back in her chair. "All I have ever wanted is to have the full set, why can't you ever let go of that one card? You always ruin it for me! Plus, it was an auction! Who pays fifteen-million for a four-million dollar property?" She snapped her arm down to point at the last property before 'Go', it's price clearly printed as four-million.
"THIS IS JUST BUSINESS, Spirit, and me! I would!" Blaire said gleefully. "I couldn't just let you have it; you would be able to get the Monopoly tower!"
"I still can!" Angela informed her. "If I get the last red property, I can, and I will!" She threatened, her eyes blazing.
Blaire just huffed, leaning back in her seat. "Well, you can dream," she hummed. "Either way, it's my turn now. Pass the dice!"
Begrudgingly, Angela did as she was told, her face sour as she handed over the small plastic cubes. She slumped back in her seat, watching Blaire's every move as she dropped the dice, receiving a roll of seven. She moved and landed on one of her own properties, much to Angela's dismay. She built two industrial buildings, and moved on.
Then, Angela rolled, scoring a six before moving her character, paying Blaire two-hundred-thousand in rent, and passing the dice back. Blaire rolled, moved, and paid Angela five-hundred-thousand, and then Angela rolled again.
Three turns more, this went on, and then, on the fourth turn, "Yes!" Angela jumped up, throwing her right fist out, then pulling it back to her side in a victorious display. She looked to Blaire, who stared at the board, her hands on her cheeks and her eyes wide with shock.
"No," she breathed.
"Yes!" Angela countered, almost as if she was singing. She hummed, sat down, paid the bank, and took the last red property for her own. She added it to the rest of the properties she owned, then reached out and pushed the button that would tell her how much she could build.
The light spun around, then slowed, and landed on exactly what she needed; one. She could build once. Blaire's hands moved from her cheeks to her eyes, and she let out a quiet, "Noooooo!" as Angela pulled the Monopoly tower from the box and placed it on one of her property tiles.
"Right, then," Angela said smugly, leaning back in her seat. "Rent is now double. Your turn, Blaire."
But Blaire just looked up at her, placing her hands on the table, her dark eyes glowing like fire. "How could you?" She breathed intensely.
"Ah," Angela answered, briefly closing her eyes. Then, as she opened them, she answered; "This is just business."

Starring;
Angela, the new Monopoly champion! She has stolen Blaire's crown, it seems, and Blaire is not too happy about that! Angela had better hope that she's faster than her best friend, or she might not survive the night.
Blaire, still in the lead for being in the most one-shots. She likes winning, so I suppose it is suiting, but she needs to feel the humiliation of losing sometimes; like in this one-shot! Sorry to say, Blaire, but I think that Spirit has got this in the bag with that sassy come-back.
