i'm TRYINg to write stuff on wattpad, and yet i fail to eve publish anything soooo cx

how do you guys find wattpad? i'm still deciding if i should start an account
it seems difficult to use bc the site features only the popular stories
and the new and upcoming authors can't seem to break through
but that's just how i see it - what do you guys think?
(also maybe it's just because i'm confused by technology whoops)

i really liked it! didn't get a chance to read the un-edited so can't comment on the changes
but comments on it:
description is so good like whoa the detail is so on point
i liked that you gave so much in-depth writing to how he was feeling and thinking
i felt like i really got to understand his current emotion
wished i could understand why he was feeling like that tho! (backstory pls haha)
the way you evoke emotion is great!
felt so bad for jennifer :c
but at least there was some happiness for spencer - someone cares about him enough to mourn!

how do i find wattpad? uh...normally i end up clicking a link. and i have the app
sometimes i believe that those popular books are either popular because so many peo
ple follow that person; the person has like 5000000 links to their page (or book. and n
ot that i don't like it, just sayin ... i do it too; or they wait and waaitt
and waaait (which i, personally, am not patient at all)
i see your point, so i'm sidig with you a bit (especially on the popular books being feat
ured).
(technology is confusing tahaha)

most of the prompts are in the middle of the one-shots
when i read the prompts i usually ask myself which situations i can use that in
first and last sentences are usually reserved for exposition/conclusions
only for prompt #16 ("Seriously, who ate my Poptart?!") did i use it as my last sentence
because to me that was more of an afterthought of a statement? (if that makes sense)


as a side note, i finally hit 10% completion whoot
hoping to get one more one-shot up tomorrow before i take a break
one and a half weeks without internet so that's my hiatus
maybe i'll go old-fashioned and write in a notebook while i'm away

yes, the story can be based on the prompt without the actual phrase being used in it. c;

the prompt can be anywhere in the story, or nowhere at all. your story can be based on the prompt without actually using the phrase. i personally have the prompt be shown towards the end of a story, but that is just my writing style. c;

i am so far behind on updating this thread... i will try and get that done sometime today. c;
