Look up to the sky
And tell me what you see
Are there clouds?
Is the sun blocking your view?
Are there stars?
Is the moon too bright to see?
now look back down to me
And close your eyes
Shut them tight
And try to see
What is there?
Can you see the red of light
Shining through your eyelids?
Or is there something else
Something different
That no one else can see?
Can you tell me?
What is the answer
And why is that so?
Think of your answers
And repeat after me
we are family!

[A Day To Forget]

this poem is about a young couple, from the perspective of the girl.

Leave the words locked in your mouth,
held by a zip,
you and I try to kiss.
I push away your comfort,
It only makes me worse.
you punch me in the gut one last time.
I scream at you not to leave,
the sound of your name makes me grieve.
for the one day I was happy,
you were sitting next to me,
all I could hear was the sound of your voice,
but this was your choice,
to leave me here,
all I have is a jar of tears,
a sickening feeling a loss,
a table covered in moss.
I still lay on the floor from when you struck the last blow,
my face felt so numb as I was forced to watch you go.
I screamed at you not to leave,
the sound of your name makes me grieve.
I scream as the blood runs down my cheek,
I never thought you would do such a thing.
it kills me inside to let you go,
but is it better for me?
to seperate our souls?
I stab the table as we eat and scream about the things you did,
baby I didnt meant it.
I screamed at you not to leave.
when they say your name it makes me grieve.
I throw your suitcase across the room,
you cant leave, I cant live without you,
I know I shouldve thought about that before I opened my mouth,
baby I didnt mean it.
look me in the eyes and tell me you really want to leave.
please I beg you as you slam the bedroom door.
I cant take any of this sh*t no more.
I watch te key turn in the lock,
baby I'm begging you please just stop.
I scream at you one last time begging you not to leave.
thinking your name makes me grieve.

I didnt want to hurt her.

I wish we could go back to the time we were happy,

all I have now is a pair of jeans,
stained with blood and the sound of screams and a sickening feeling of loss,

The rage was there.
Screaming inside my pounding head.
It was gone.
I couldn't believe it.
I couldn't feel anything.
I was numb.
Numb to the world.
The shock causing making my mouth hang open.
Then came the tears.
Along with the sadness.
I'm slowly slipping into madness.
I cannot undo what has been done.
I can't get back my lost thoughts and memories.
They took them from me.
And are now reading the very essence of my soul.
And laughing at what they see written there.
Panic, causes more tears to flow.
They keep looking back at me.
I wish they would stop.
Embarrassing.
They laid me out on a slab.
And cut open my heart.
And laughed at what was inside.
They have power over me.

she broke her neck they said,

I move the broken furniture, also from the broken struggle,
I walk into our room, the mirror shards still on the floor, your blood still on the pieces left in place.
I will kill myself if I dont get out of this place.
"baby I'm sorry I didnt mean to make you gone, I was the one that shouldve left, gotten what I deserve"
