Decieved, fearful
Never meeting mine

I do wonder sometimes
What she told you
If you tried to stay calm
Dying inside

But I'd never steal her away from you
It's a different kind of love
And beautiful
I'm not pulling you apart

Each vein a rope to another life
Held together and sliced apart

Never ready to let go
One step off the balcony
And we're back in Paradise
Back in my arms

You're gone
And so am

Mischevious
Unknowing
Forget our pains
Troubles
Held softly in loving arms

Cheeky jokes
Warm skin
Soft lips
Eyes closed
Sleeping beauty
Waits for the morning sun
Or for her princess
To awaken her

For her never ending nightmare
Or from life.

Fight it,

Don't let it rule you.

Well, here's some poetry I wrote the day after I found out my grandpa has cancer. I was feeling especially sad. So, here are six poems for you to enjoy. If anyone takes the time to read this. Which they probably won't. Feedback would be appreciated on this thread.

Strong
I choke down
The lump in my throat
I have to stay strong
So instead of crying
I scoop up a book
I have friends to hug
Books to read
Songs to sing
Tears to keep bottled up
Until I'm safe in bed
With covers over my head
Lost in thought
Where nobody can see me
And there's nobody to be
Strong for

Ignorance
It's amazing
How bad you feel
When you live
In complete
Ignorance
And bliss
Until you realize
That something is
Wrong

Want
I want to get lost in a book.
I want to get out my feelings.
I want people to know how I feel
Without even knowing at all.

I want someone to give me a hug
And tell me it will be okay
And really know it's true
Or at least believe.

I want the world to shut up
And give me a meager moment of peace.
I want them to stop pushing me around
And consider that others have feelings, too.

I just want someone to understand.
I want anyone to understand.
And I want them to tell me
That they get it.

So I sit and wait
Until she's here.
I speak three words
And I have what I want.

Items
An old tape measure
And a silver coin
Are the two objects

The Only Thing
The only thing that hurts worse
Than knowing the entire story
Is knowing only part of it
And missing the details
That are the difference
Between life and death

The one thing that hurts less
Than knowing the story
Is not knowing of it's existance at all

But when you hear about it
Your mind will be flooded with emotions
And you have to pick the one you feel most

I'm the one that never felt what they call love,
The one that does not believe in heaven, up above,
I'm the one they want to get rid of.
So one night, they came to my house, giving me a push and a shove,
Then they murdered me, as I closed my eyes, the last thing I saw was a white dove.

I love them
I do them a favour
I shoot them

Advice

My love
So they can use it
But what do I get?
Nothing
Do I get any?
No
I am a teenage cupid
Who has no luck with love

Oak

The grandeur is unbeatable,
The majesty, desirable.
It's lush hairs dance in the breeze,
A soft perfume tickling my nostrils.
Your shadow looms, tall and eerie
Ripe and golden, your fruit glimmer.
Your skin rough, yet wise and old,
A great story in every ring you hold.
A grand guardian you stand, treasuring and gathering,
With feet so fine yet hidden in the undergrowth,
You shall stand for eternity until time comes for you to fall
(I'm not good at poetry...any tips?)
