To make up for
All the mistakes
And pain I have caused

If I can be

Maybe, just maybe
People will look past
The fact
That I'm falling apart

Let me poor all the lessons of my life into you.
Let me tell you my winters and summers.

Let me show you my physical woes.
Let me tell you what it's like.
Let me show you my pain.
I never meant to scare you.

Beads of garnet and amythest
Litter the floor
Filled with memories
That are now broken, shattred shards
Of a once peaceful
Life

Memories of the way we used to be
Laughing, happy
Carefree children
The most normal people in the world

The days when I could hold your hand
Call you my best friend
Without fear of regection

Those days are gone now
Shattered
In beads of garnet tears
That litter my floor

I will try to fix these
Broken memories
But they will never be
Quite the same..

Others say it's all in my brain.

I just can't retain

To understand, you must first obtain
The ability to stay in my domain.

Though, I cannot yet explain explain
For if I did, I wouldn't be able to remain.

My little sister is allowed friends
Regardless of gender

Who only wants to be friends with them

Is refused her rights ?
