I'm walking the barren streets alone
On my own, it's so cold
I'm standing amidst all of my fears
They're all here, I should know...
But you can't break me down now
I'm already out
I'm up and away
Into the light of day
I'm flying high
I was born this way
Born to run away
I'm chased along the empty road
With my fears, they're my load
I don't freeze up, I don't get scared
I'll take the dare, crack the code
Why am I standing here?
When I could be
Soaring so far away
Into the light of day
I'm flying high
I was born this way
Born to run away
But you can't break me down now
I'm already out
I'm up and away
Into the light of day
I'm flying high
I was born this way
Born to run away
Born to run away
And here is a poem that I wrote about horses
"Wish of the Soul"
Thunder rolls across the grass
Reliving all those moments passed
Wind and sky, rushing breaths
Swirling clouds of dust he left
Coiled muscles, rippling mane
Far from mild and quiet and tame
Racing legs and drumming heart
Horseback riding's more than art
Spirit is something you can't rein in
Holding back freedom is folly and sin
No strength of will can ever control
The power of thunder, the wish of the soul
