Hello, hello! Aquila here! I'm super excited for this blog-diary, and I'm real glad my "Captain's Log" name suggestion was chosen. Star Trek is my favorite, as you might see.
xxxApparently my garden is really popular with Luminians. Even though these plants are from the moon (for the most part. They were scientifically engineered for the moon. Also, these are the newest moon plants), the Luminians had never seen them before. They think they're all really tasty, but I'm not too sure about that personally. I wouldn't eat the flowers if I were you. But the mushrooms and the tiger melon are good. Especially the tiger melon, omg. You should really try it! It's like a tiger's blood shaved ice cone, but you know... It doesn't have the shaved ice part. And it's texture is kind of like a cantaloupe-watermelon.
xxxWhat's your favorite moon plant? Hmm, maybe I'll set up a poll for that. Yeah, that sounds nice! Give me a minute to set it up.
xxxThere! Now onto my day, I guess.

    xxxEmily
xxxEmily, one of our newer astronauts, walked into my garden, all excited to go back to Earth. She later said she was going back to show off the simulator games she made for the in-training astronauts. Because doing it over Skripe wasn't fun apparently, and a trip to Earth is always nice. But she'd been here for only three weeks, compared to my two months! I guess running the gardens here is fun and important, but I want my Earth break sooner or later. Gotta save up those vacation days! *Earth plants are pretty cool after being with these all two months of this.*
xxxBut when Emily came in, she stepped on one of my New King's Crowns. And it was the only blooming one at the time, because I had picked the others to give to U'voo. I wasn't a happy camper, so I made her plant five New King's Crowns. That'll teach her to be careful and stay on the path.
xxxAnyways, you might be wondering about how I get so many of these plants! I get seeds from back home at NASA - I'll probably have Emily get some when she goes to Earth on the 27th, even though it'll be over a week 'til she's back here. But I also have my little space bees! They're called Kwek'lor, Mya'ki, and Tai'clik, according to their colors. See, Janir didn't sell those little plushies for no reason.

*Aquila clicks "stop" on the recording*

ANDROMEDA EDIT: Janir is the scorpion managing the souvenir stand.

Author's note: Yes, Aquila didn't actually record this. The last part is just yet another reference to Star Trek and the Captain's Logs.
