I have a story idea I am working on. The bare bones basics involve werewolf twins who work in a small town police department as the canine unit, taking turns as "human" officer and canine. Most of the police station knows they are werewolves, and guards the secret. Knowing there are non-humans living with humans is not a common thing. Most non-humans strive to appear as human as possible. The twins manage just fine, most people in the town never knowing their dual nature. Issues start to crop up when the mayor hires a new animal control officer. She is his niece from a few states away, come to make a new life where her dear uncle lives. One of the twins falls for her, although she makes it clear she is not really interested in him. She is here to do a job first, socialize later. As you may have guessed, here is where fun werewolf antics come in to play. She has no interest in the man, but her job makes her have an interest in the wolf. More than centering on the relationship between werewolf and aco, the story will also revolve around the relationship of the werewolves in a society they serve and protect who believe what they are is mindless creatures. How they deal with every-day life, figuring out who to trust, protecting the town or their secret.
I am toying with the idea of making it into a story, as well as possibly a web comic. That will be a touch difficult as my art skills are not where I want them for a complete web comic. Whichever way I choose to go, I still have the problem of figuring out a proper title for it. So far, I have nothing. Any suggestions?
