Left alone in the ruins of the city they who consider themselves normal abandoned, We wander the night. Desperate to find safety from the shadows, sanctuary in those who remember Us for what We once were. The reaping destroyed Our identities, ripped apart Our souls and sewed them together anew. We have become freaks of nature...not even that. We have become freaks of the Universe itself. Our unnatural appearance and abilities have caused Us to be tossed aside by society, left to choke on the dust of their retreating footsteps. We attempt to survive on the little We find, the little left by those who have made Us the beings known only by the name
The Forgotten.

Abigail Esterly, better known as Gail, is the only survivor of The Reaping in her family. Left alone in the deserted city now home to the beings like her that are The Forgotten, Gail searches for sanctuary in a place where no house is a safe house, and no one can be trusted. After meeting Max Buckwalter, a Forgotten with an appearance and ability every bit as rare as Gail's, the Forgotten girl is no longer certain that this statement is true. Max shows Gail a side of her city that she has never known, and as the chemistry between the pair brews, and the people marked "unscathed by The Reaping gather together to rid the world of The Forgotten, Gail must risk everything to save the city that has shown light on The Forgotten.

ALRIGHTY GUYS! To make this more interesting for both myself and you, i have decided to make this into something a little like a choose your own adventure. However, you will be choosing where Gail goes, and what she does to survive. I am going to stay true to my plotline, so where ever Gail goes, she is going to meet Max, and whatever she does, they are going to fall for one another, though it may take longer. So now its up to you guys to help Gail save her city and the people she will come to love that live within it. HAVE FUN

xxxxThe Reaping has left me without a family, without a home, and without any idea who I am anymore. I am no longer the girl I used to be, and I don't think I'll ever be the same again. The wheat colored hair and baby blue eyes that used to get me anything I ever wanted are gone, replaced with knotted curls of white and eyes the same color as silver coins. My suntanned skin has lost its color, making me look like a walking corpse. The feeling left over from The Reaping makes me feel like I am a walking corpse. Oh, and what a corpse I am. When my soul was torn and pieced back together, I was changed in ways other than just my hair and eyes and skin. I have the antlers of a deer, the color of ivory and the weight of two history books atop my head. My eyes are larger, spread farther apart, my nose small and dark. My toes are now covered by a shell only seen on hooves....and I am disgusted by them. I am disgusted by what I look like. I am disgusted by what I am....Looking away from the cracked mirror that hangs above the cracked toilet in the restroom of the abandoned resturaunt, I push open the swinging door and step out into the restraunt. Its freezing cold, the harsh december wind blows in easily through the gaping hole that used to be the other half of Le petite Baguette. Turning my back against the gusts of air, I shudder and wrap my arms around the flannel night shirt I happened to be wearing with black leggings the night The Reaping occurred. My bare feet would have been frozen by now, but instead my hoof covered toes are merely chilly. As I stand there and shiver, and remember the awful night when I was awaken by the screams of pain that belonged to myself and my family, tears prick at the corners of my eyes. My life will never be the same...
xxxxAfter a moment of fighting back the sobs that are building in my throat, I bring my hands up to my face and slap my cheeks. Focus. You need to Focus. Come on Gail. Letting my hands fall back to my sides, I make my way through the debri in the restraunt and stand at the edge of the hole in its side. On my right stretches an empty road, a forest just peaking over the horizon. Something that looks like smoke is drifting up from the green caps, gathering in a cloud. On my left stretches the other end of the road, leading into the city, a mass of towers lies in wait, dark except for a few lit up room. Huh. I had thought that the power went out, but I guess I was wrong. In front of me lies the torn up remains of a small town. The reaping had not only affected the people, but the buildings and enviornment around them. Jagged peaks jutted out of the ground randomly along the road either way, and in the small town a large tree had curled around a small cottage. I shake my head, unsure of where to go. But I have to make a decision quick, because from what I can see of the sky, there is a massive blizzard coming.
