XXXXXXXXXXXXXabout ~ meXXXXXXXXXXXXX

hey there! i'm skywishes01, currently a
plumerian non-owner. I'm just your average
teenage girl obsessed with CS and all those cute
adoptables <3 I only recently started to really get
into plumerians, and what attracted me was the
amazing community in the first place- so if i
somehow win this competition, I can assure you,
this little mango will be far from neglected!

They are extremely dedicated to cute things, things they like, cute things, and cuteness, which is what the plumie is. This dedication will ensure the Plumerian will have active care and adoration. Skywishes01 is really creative plus they are a talented coder, so all the forms that relate to the Plumerian would be detailed and beautiful, and the Plumerian will have an awesome personality. With all the above reasons, I think skywishes01 will be a good owner to the plumie to the end of time.

All this may be a good thing and/or a bad thing- she either likes me a lot, or is a creepy stalker, or is both. I hope she's just the first kind, for her sake and mine...

fav food: mangos
dy believes you must practice
what you preach- if you look
like a mango, you better like
eating them. the taste's grown
on him.
fav color: green
it represents all that is peaceful
in the world. he also likes blue
and orange- they remind him of
family.
fav book series: 'the mortal

explains things,and how they
all tie together. and being a
big fantasy nut helps, too.
fav person: don't ask him that! he
loves everyone in his family equally!

sure, he loves normal, fresh
mangos, but he loves its
normal, fresh taste. he can't
stand it being changed.
hated color: blood red
for him, it symbolizes
hurt and pain and blood
and all things that are bad.
hated thing: anything that
hurts or annoys his

hates more than mango
pudding, it's things that tear
apart his family.
pet peeve: people going

To a stranger, Dylan seems like a nice, thoughtful young child. But that's only a small part of what he is.
Image

Image
Dylan is one to ponder the workings of the world. That doesn't mean he's that kid who prefers sitting by himself in the playground; no, Dylan loves talking and meeting new people. He loves to see how much he can get to know about them.
When you talk to him, Dylan won't upfront tell you that you are wrong in your opinion; he will try and explain his opinion to you. He won't force you to change your mind or anything, as long as you don't force him to change- once Dylan has a view on a subject, he'll probably hold firm to that view, and for good reasons- he's probably thought about it for a while. The only people who could convince him his well-thought-out beliefs are wrong are his family.

Image
Growing up with his very open-minded daddy and sister, Dylan's natural openness was nurtured and encouraged. Now he will not judge anything without experiencing or knowing it himself, a fact other parents envy and his daddy is very proud about. The thing where he may be different from his family is his heart; he keeps that open as well. Everyone gets a chance with Dylan, to explain themselves if they are being judged or just to ask for help.

Image
I told you that Dylan loves to meet new people, right? Loves to try and get to know them? This is where his perceptiveness comes in. Dylan can understand how you are feeling by observing your actions and your words; he will know exactly what you need or want from him from that. This is another reason Dylan enjoys being open and friendly and seeing how other people live their lives.
And it's a good thing he has this perceptiveness, because he can tell the difference between you voicing your opinion to him, and you just being spiteful. And if you're doing the latter, well then, let's just say it's better to have Dylan as a friend than an enemy...

Image
This is the reason you must never get on the wrong side of Dylan- and the wrong side of his law. This world full of unfairness has led to Dylan's young self developing a strong sense of right and wrong, of good and bad, of justice. So if you 'break' his law, you will be punished- in the form of pranks, like being covered in paint when you open a door or waking up with streamers superglued to your face.
Dylan still believes in a law with a clear boundary between innocent and criminal. But I have a feeling that when he discovers that life isn't black or white, it will make him more determined than ever to carry out justice.

Image
Some people call it stubbornness. Some call it determination. Dy prefers the word 'loyal'- and by that, I don't just mean loyal to people; I mean loyal to more insubstantial stuff, like beliefs and ideas and values. I've already said that he has good reason to be loyal to what he believes in; most of the time he is right, even by Earth's blurry standards. The thing he is most loyal to, however, is family. Annoy them, he'll probably hate you forever. Hurt them, and he'll hold a grudge for life. Make them hurt each other, and he will kill you. In his mind, of course. He'll just pretend you don't exist in reality. Especially if you do it to Samara.
No one touches his sister.

Ryder James Marshall ~ 'Dad'

He loves that his dad is like a rock amidst the swirling river of his daddy and sisters. He goes to James less for comfort and more for reassurance that he’s still there- Dylan gets the feeling that his Dad is unstable, constantly worrying but still constantly, solidly there for him. He will support Dylan throughout whatever he wants to do, even if James does worry sometimes that Dylan is too open and will end up in a place where no one believes a word Dy says. Dylan is not worried about this, because he knows at least his dad will always be by his side.

Zavier Marshall ~ 'Daddy'
Image

He gets annoyed when people see Zavier as mean and uncaring. He knows his daddy has a good reason for the things he does, and can’t understand why people don’t like him instantly. He can discuss things with Zavier that James wouldn’t understand, being the open-minded people they both are, and enjoys discussing and analyzing situations with him. He loves how his dad explains things with supernaturalism, and even if he doesn't always believe Zavier, he loves to see the look on his dad's face as he tells Dy his discoveries, loves the fact that he is making his dad feel this way.

Image
Samara Marshall ~ 'Sis'

Dylan absolutely adores Samara, and she's probably the only person in the world who could convince him to change his mind without sparking a huge intellectual debate. Sure, he loves his other family a lot, but he loves Samara just that little bit more. She's the one who will take time to play 'Whodunnit?' games with him, the one who will tell him fairy tales just because she knows he likes to hear them. Samara, in his mind, is perfect, and his ultimate role model.

Katie Marshall ~ 'Sister'
Image

Katie can be snappy with him at times, but she's also the one who knows why Dylan gets so worked up when someone insults James or teases Zavier or hurts Samara. He's found that she's the one he can go to for advice, like what to do if you may or may not have a small crush on that girl. In these moments, he loves Katie as much as he loves Samara. Then he just has to go and say or do something annoying, often resulting in a major pillow fight.

Image
Bellatrix Jones ~ 'Uncle Trixy'

Trix is the person who brings Dylan right back down to good 'ol Earth, even if Dy sometimes wants to stay up in the clouds where everything is good and fair and right. But Dy knows that his Uncle Trixy has his best intrests in mind, and he does enjoy watching his uncle play the 3DS and sometimes taking a turn at it himself, especially during boss battles and enemy fights. Trix does not get Dy's 'obsession' with law, and gets annoyed frequently when Dyl loses in his games. But he'll still never say no whenever Dy asks to play.

Sierra Jones ~ 'Auntsi'
Image

Dy loves to 'hang' with Sierra, meeting new people and going to new places, especially the movies. Dyl has a habit of wanting to go to a different theatre each time, and he and his Auntsi will make a deal: he chooses the theatre, she chooses the movie. Once they even drove two hours to go to a old-fashioned country theatre, a trip they both enjoyed, making new friends along the way. Dy sees movies as meeting new people on the screen too, and can often tell what plot twists are coming up by their actions. He doesn't say them aloud, though- he knows that 'spoils the fun' for his aunt.

Image
Kirk Marshall ~ 'Cappy'

Dy's name for Kirk came when he was just a baby, and tried to pronounce what everyone else seemed to be calling him at the time. He sees his loyalty and thoughtfulness in Cappy, and loves to learn from Kirk to see how he interprets things. Sometimes his uncle is reluctant to share his information with him, and although Dy gets disappointed, he understands not to push Kirk too hard. He's seen his uncle lecture someone for stealing his work, and to Dy, that's sometimes scarier than Trix on a rampage.

Amaryllis and Sybil Jones ~ 'Grama and Gram'
Image

He loves his grandmas like a grandchild should, but he understands them a bit more than your average child and can often be found sitting with them, watching Pokemon. He'll join in in Amaryllis' matchmaking antics, but he often has to reason with her why this couple will work and why that one won't. One of his most treasured possessions is his Grama's old Pikachu wristband, several sizes too big but loved nonetheless. He finds Sybil to be like a mother to him, the one the cleans up his cuts and kisses him goodnight. Her choice of movies is a bit too much for Dy- mostly because in most of them, the bad guys win in some way.

Image
Reese and Arabella Marshall ~ 'Granny and Grara'

Dy loves spending time with James' parents, and he loves seeing the impact they have on each other, even if they don't realize it. He can sit for hours listening to Reese's tales of police days, upholding the law and fighting injustice, just like Dylan wants to. Arabella will often sit with him, and with Sybil, they are the mothers he never had. Dy and Reese can good-naturedly argue, due to both of them being unwilling to back down on anything, but it usually doesn't change anyone's minds and Dy ends up having to either back off or upset his grandparents.

Inspired by Zavier's and Samara's jobs, Dylan has a great love for all things 'unnatural' and 'unreal'. He especially loves ancient myths, loves the way the Greeks or Romans or Egyptians perceived and explained things. For fun, he'll often look at a myth and try and explain something in real life with it, for example, the invisible sportsplumie in the playground? Yeah, he's Hercules reborn- they just have to find his Achilles heel, which with most kids his age is junk food.
Dylan also enjoys drawing pictures of black volcanic pegasi flying around Hawaii or giants slumbering in the himalayas, even though he is not what you'd call a talented drawer. He'll also write stories or short journal-like-entries on how these mythical beasts fit in the world- and these are considerably better than his drawings.
This whole hobby may strike you as weird, for a plumie who seems so rooted to black-and-white reality, but Dylan still hasn't formed a clear view on this fantasy stuff, so if asked he'll probably tell you he's 'researching' it. He is, in a way, however the main reason for him still liking this is simply to escape to a world where justice and law is indeed black and white.

Dylan enjoys playing not so much games that test your metal ability, but games that require perceptiveness and thinking out of the box to win. One of his favorite games would have to be Cluedo, because although that is more trial and error, he tends to take it a step further, analyzing his opponent's facial expressions and moves to make what seems like long-shot assumptions, but more often than not, these long-shot assumptions usually end up in him winning. His family have grown wise to his tricks, and they all have excellent poker faces now- which makes it harder for him to win, bet certainly not impossible.
He also likes scavenger and treasure hunting, with clues that are hard riddles rather than outright directions. Sometimes he gets his sisters to play along, with Samara usually writing up the clues and Katie and Dy running around the house, trying to find whatever Samara wanted them to. Dylan underestimates his sisters in this; sometimes he will overthink a clue while Katie will get it straight away. But hey, one learns from his mistakes, right?
A good example of a show he loves to watch is Whodunnit?, for pretty obvious reasons. He'll also watch game shows and the like to try and see if he can answer the questions before the contestants do.

the mango of justice // dylan's story

There! Dylan set his pen down and grinned at the ink-stained piece of paper in front of him. He’d written many stories, but he reckoned this was one of the best. Just to reassure himself, he reread it once more:

There it was. My target. According to my sources, my sister was being held in there by some sort of she-demon- and, naturally, it was up to me to save her.

Who am I? I’m Dylan, Dylan Marshall, elite monster hunter. You may not see them, but they’re everywhere; on the streets you walk, in the parks you play in and in the malls you shop in. They love malls. It’s crazy how many zombies I find in there.
Now, back to the story. My sister was being held in the gray, concrete fortress you mortals call ‘school’, by the aforementioned she-demon. This demon was much smarter than your average demon, having the wits to disguise herself as a ‘teacher’.

Yeah. The only things she’ll teach you are ways to die.

Samara, my sister, had been given detention- only thing is, she never gets detention. I knew something was up, and lo and behold, there she was through the window, writing her detention essay while Ms. Demon stared hungrily at her throat. Seriously. My sister knew that these creatures existed; but she was still so ignorant. You can see how an oblivious person would easily miss the supernatural side of the world.

I crept up to the entrance, one finger on the tiny charm that expanded into a sword. Standing in the hallway, I realized I had no idea where to find that classroom. Why are schools so confusing? Well, I could see the window, so surely it wouldn’t be too hard to find.

Ten minutes, five wrong turns and one scary encounter with the school janitor (who might be a demon too) later, I finally saw Sammy through the glass. Ms. Demon was very, very close to her, bending over her neck to seemingly read her writing. But I saw her fangs. I knew what she wanted to do. Well, not on my watch.

I burst through the door like… like the hero I was, I guess. The demon looked up, and I shuddered. She was losing her disguise, and it looked like her face was peeling off, revealing the swirling red ugliness below. Two blood red eyes gleamed at me, but she barely had time to hiss before I ran towards her, expanded sword in hand, and lopped her head clean off.

Maybe not such a clever demon after all.

Satisfied, I dusted myself off as I watched the rest of the demon shrivel up and disappear. Yup, it was disgusting, like a rotten apple core, but I was used to it.

A voice sounded behind me.
‘Dylan?’ It was Sam. ‘What are you doing here?’
She took stock of her surroundings. ‘And where’s my teacher?’

I shook my head in wonder. Only Samara. ‘You can thank me later. ‘

‘Now… do you know the way out?’

Dylan sat back and grinned again. Yes. It was definitely the best thing he’d ever written. Grabbing the piece of paper, he ran out of his room to show it to his family.
