Hello and welcome to my Poem Gallery!
(Acutally, I had already created one but I kinda messed it up, so I will just start a tidy new one)

A little bit about me?
I am a young woman from a small village in Germany.
In three years I'm going to finish my apprenticeship as a nurse, which I'm really looking forward to
My hobbies include singing, playing the piano, writing, photography and drawing. I'm also repairing and renovating an old abandoned hut in the forest atm (which is hard, but I won't give up!
Here on CS i'm often roaming around in the forums.
My trade center and in box are always open for everybody

I created this thread to share my poems with the community.
how I said, I created a writing gallery quite some time ago ("Vampy's writing gallery"), but I messed it up. So I'm starting this pretty and tidy new one
I have a few things I'd like to ask you for:

Firefly
Firefly, spark of the night,
shining warm, shining bright,
dancing your gemmy foxtrot up there,
forgetting all sorrows, now you don't care.

Sister of stars, daughter of fire,
tell me your secrets, your deepest desire,
teach me your blazing dance of light,
let me watch your glowing flight.

For when the night's gone by and dark is fading,
an stress and trouble are already waiting,
you'll hide from the lucid day so shy,
we'll go our own ways and say goodbye.

Grave Angel
I promised you I'd always stay,
promised I'd never be far away.
Nver broke it, my promise, never will.
I'm standing here, guarding you, standing still.
And though my hear is turning to stone,
I'll keep my promise, keep watching, standing alone.

Angel with a broken wing
You lost your joy, you lost your pride,
hope is gone, you don't see the light,
in despair to your life you cling,
angel with a broken wing.

Your wing is broken like your heart,
your dreams are gone and torn apart,
You're empty, don't feel anything,
angel with a broken wing.

Your wounds will heal as time goes by,
you'll hope once more and take the sky,
you'll laugh again, you'll smile and sing,
angel with a broken wing.

Kintsukuroi
In darkest forests,
in darkest days,
when luck's the furthest,
I'll see the rays.

A blazing bird with wings of fire,
its' gleaming eyes of ancient wisdom.
Shining daughter of sun's desire.
singing its' magical "Kintsukuroi"

Light in darkness,
faith in despair,
hope when I'm hopeless,
a reason to care.
Kintsukuroi, Kintsukuroi,
beauty from pain.
Kintsukuroi, Kintsukuroi,
Sunshine in rain.

(sidenote: Kintsukuroi is a technique where broken pottery is repaired with gold. These repaired thing are seen as special and beautiful, because they have a story, they were broken and got back together: *click* )

Lonesome Wolf
Lonesome wolf, where have you been?
it's been so long, what have you seen?
Your gaze is clouded, half alive,
It's all long gone, and still you strive.

The memorie's there, it's all so clear,
it's all so close, it was right here.
Where is it now? Where is your home?
Where's the forest you used to roam?

Where are your pups? Where is your mate?
You long for years, you wait and wait.
Think back to days when things went well
Become a shadow, an empty shell.

A soulless howling, a blinding light,
you're howling back and die inside,
Cuz out here in the pouring rain,
you know you're howling at a train.
