chapter 1: The beginning

Kendra sat there in chemistry class playing with her pencil. She couldn't wait until she got out of school she could go run into the woods along with others like her. "Ok can anyone tell me what H2O stand for, yes you Chelsea."
"It stands for water sir."she cringed at the word water Kendra knew that she was a Water element and that she hated when people mentioned the word water around her."Thank you." The bell rang and Kendra ran out the door and headed to the woods, along with a few other kids in the school that were also Elementals. As she went through the tree line she noticed that a girl was following her, she immediately recognized her as Nikki and she went over to talk to her. "Hi Nikki."
"Hi Kendra, I have a question why do you go out in the woods everyday along with half the school?"
"Have you been stalking me?"
"No!"
"Ok well we all found this tree house in the middle of the woods and we go there every day."
"Cool, can I come?"
"Umm." Kendra ran off as fast as she could. She didn't tnlime mentioning the Tree house to anyone but Elementals. She then ran into her good friend April. April was growing a patch of flower when she realized that Kendra was there " Are you gonna burn up this patch just like you did the last?"
"Pfft no why would I do that."
"Because you so that all the time."
"Ok well there a meeting at the Tree house today and we are all gonna be late if we don't hurry." Kendra and Alril ran toward this giant tree house a lot of other teens were already in there. Kendra was the leader that they voted in last month and she ran into the center if the tree house, there were four different ma raked sections of the treehouse. One for fire,plant,water,and darkness. "Ok everyone stand with your element group" The whole room shifted as people moved across to where their assigned element was. "Today we will be welcoming two new Elementals." Everyone in the room cheered. "Ok, joining Fire is Mckenzie Black. Joining Water we have Kayla Hunt." The two girls moved into the group they were supposed to be in. They were once humans but someone from their Element had chosen them to become one. She sighed as everyone got up and went back to their business. April walked up to her " Great job, I'm so glad that we are getting so many recruits in elements other than Darkness." She glanced over at a small group of five in the corner. "Yeah. You know know what go talk to Chelsea I have to go talk to my sister." She didn't really go talk to her sister she just sat down on a bench and thought. It's pretty sad to see only five Darkness, it's been at least 2 years since the great Elemental war which she lost her mom in. She still had a hatred towards Darknes one because they killed her mom and two her sister was Darkness and she was the one that killed her mom. Sh got up and left the tree house leaving a trail of scorched land behind her.

Chapter 2: The cave

Kendra walked towards the Cave of Elements, the cave was a sacred place filled with different sections for each element. She glanced over at the snow elements monument, Kendra always thought this was the prettiest, she gazes Into the falling snowflakes. "It's beautiful isn't it?" Kendra spun around seeing a boy with black hair, "who are you?"
"I'm Jax, what about you?" Kendra stepped closer to him "why should I tell you." She walked into a part of the cave known as the Prophecy chamber, in there was 4 plates on the ground each with a different elemental symbol, in the center of the four was a single plate with a purple mist floating out of it. "I think you should tell me because, after all I am an elemental" Kendra turned to face him "prove it" she said it smartly hoping to make the boy back off. "Fine," He threw a lighting bolt at Kendra. "Hey, what was that for?" She said after she had dodged the lighting bolt, "Sorry, you were getting on my nerves, good day" the boy walked off, Kendra sighed in relief. She stepped up to a plate with a flame on it, she threw a fire ball at it and it activated, sending a spray of fire shooting out of it. "Two down, three more to go" she thought as she walked away from the Prophecy Chamber. She stood in front of a tree, she touched the tree, this was Aprils life, as long as that tree was standing April would live. She st down underneath the tree and began to read. There was snap and Kendra lifted her head up " Hello?" She stood up and walked around the tree seeing her sister standing there " Oh, little sis what are doing here" she stepped closer to Kendra " it's the only place for me to get away from you, Victoria" Victoria glanced over at the flaming plate that Kendra had just activated " Well it seems finally some one other than me decided to carry out this prophecy." She grinned"you know what that means don't you,you'll have to kill me, and why would you want to kill your sister." Kendra she got angry a ball of fire swelled up in her hand "Just stay away, and I will kill you after what you did to mom."
"Oh darling you know mom was weak, like I always say being good is weakness"
" She was not weak!" The fireball in her hand got bigger. "You see this fireball, if you don't shut up I'm gonna throw it at your face" she held up the fireball "You sure got some guts, good luck finding the other three Elementals" she walked out of the cave. Kendra was frustrated, she threw the fire ball at Victoria but missed, she sat down and fell asleep under Aprils tree.
