Jessica strolled towards me, a flush of anger in her expression. I got lost in thoughts wondering what she was angry about, or if she was angry at all. No ideas came to me, so I just looked at her blankly.
"LAURA!" she shouted at me. Gave me a jump scare, to tell the truth. I lunged forward, as if to ask her to continue. She got the hint to go on. "GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TODAY!", she shouted once more with anger in her tone. "Jessica, I don't want to hear it if you are going to talk like that, its annoying, and loud, so shut it or talk normally" I spoke quietly but in frustration. She had a blank face now. I didn't expect her to be offended, she never got offended, just never.
"......I..um...uh, dont feel like talking now" I knew she had said that because she wanted me to feel sorry for her, so I replied "permission to continue"
"You know that girl that I hate, because she is an attention seeker?" She spoke quietly as if the girl was near "well, she posted a video online of her singing, and at the end she insulted me...", Sadness was in her voice this time, so I hugged her. I saw the video, she called Jessica a Girl who doesn't exist in a popular world and might as well live in her basement
There was so many things wrong in that statement, number one, Jessica doesn't have a basement, proving that girl doesn't know anything about Jessica, so should not judge
Number two. That girl couldn't have been more shallow and unpopular when she said it
Number three, In our school "Popular" isn't really a thing....
There is more, but I only have so much time, why waste it on people who don't deserve it. I said those exact words to Jessica, and she agreed!
