Born to a noble King and a caring queen, Prince Cryrik grew up in a large stone castle, having 3 elder brothers and a sister. A troublesome gang, definitely. Of course, he was only a child, he would learn to behave. At least, that's what his parents had hoped. He tried, but the life of a prince was rather bland, not as luxorious as one might believe. He was always getting into trouble, it seemed to be everything he did. Not meaning to, however, the young prince just felt it was calling to him. Now, the neighboring kingdom had declared war on Cin's kingdom, although he didn't quite understand it. As the two kingdoms fought harder to protect themselves, the war raged on for 3 years before Cynrik's kingdom fell, and all was lost. The king and queen were captured as they and Cynrik's siblings tried to escape, leaving Cyn and his siblings orphaned, in a way. For another 4 months, he and his siblings scavenged for food, that is, until the Royal guards were sent for them. One thing about Cynrik: he never gets caught. He successfully evaded them all, and although he had hope for them, his siblings ended up being captured, unbeknownst to him they were alive. He didn't know what had happened, but he didn't wish to find out. He did what he felt was the only thing he could do: he fled. He found the nearest ship that was readying to set sail to what seemed to him like a whole new world, a civil one with buildings as tall as mountains and Plumerians as numerous as the stars in the sky. Or so that's what he heard, so for days, weeks, months even he sat, stealing food when he needed to but otherwise making sure to remain hidden.

Finally, after he felt he had been there for 20 years, they were finally there: New York City. He scrambled to get off of the boat as soon as he could, excited to see the land. He was amazed by the multitude of skyscrapers and people rushing around, the streets polluted with large, loud, and colorful monsters of different sorts. He wanted one. The first thing he did, however, was look to find somewhere to stay, which was rather difficult as all places seemed to be taken. Eventually he found an apartment that read "condemned," but not knowing what it meant, he decided it would now be his as nobody seemed to inhabit the place. It was small, dirty, and dark, but it was his home now. He once again stole and begged for things, becoming as good as a street rat in the city. Cynrik spent his time alone, that is, until he crashed into another girl while fleeing a store. Her mismatch eyes gleamed with excitement, her cream colored fur matted and dirty, she seemed to be pained, but he could tell under all of it that it was an act, and thus a beautiful friendship was born. Cyn was rather quiet at first, watching her as she pulled off various kinds of offences. He had only stolen small things, but Ginger? She pick-pocketed, acted, and fooled everyone. It intrigued him, she showed him a whole new kind of way to thrive. This was only the start, as thy grew older they grew more and more daring, and the thirst for adrenaline grew in the two. The two grew close, and eventually Ginger, seeing Cyn had no true home, invited him to stay at her place. To her parents dismay, she brought the strange kid in and demanded he stay there, who was Klara and Sugar to deny the orphan a home? Although he was never enrolled in school, Cyn seemed to grow in knowledge about the new world he inhabited, and soon decided to tell the tales of where he lived, from what he remembered at least. Sugar was the one to chuckle and tell him to write a story, not believing Cyrniks story. Cyn didn't think much of it, not at the time at least, and focused on life now.
As a teenager, Cynrik tended to stray away from the home he was offered and back out into the world. He eventually left them behind, leaving ginger nothing but a note. He remembered his younger days, and set off to find the kingdom he once believed was his own. Years, it took. From 13-15 Cyn searched, not remembering the way he had come. Finally, He came upon rubble of a grand castle that once stood. Nothing was left, but he had hope. His home was gone, but he was determined to find out what had happened. He continued to search, remembering the neighboring kingdom that still stands today. He found it, ruled now by the previous kings son. Cyn wasn't too keen on him, however he was welcomed in almost immediately. Cyn glared at him, his silence saying more than any amount of words could. "I apologize about your family, Prince. My father.. well he didn't go easy on them." The young king stated, frowning sadly. "However, your siblings escaped, I doubt they'll be in the kingdom any longer. My father ruled with fear." He finished. Cynrik bit his tongue and held back a snarl, he didn't trust the king. However, out of respect and the wish to live, Cyn nodded and left. He wished to search for his lost siblings.
